Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a rig for a sailing vehicle, in particular for a remote controlled sailboat with a symmetrical sail and with a mast that has a swivel for the sail at its upper end one the axis of symmetry of the sail at a distance from the bow end intersecting hinge axis.
To in the direction of travel in sailing vehicles from the wind direction
to be almost independent, it is known (
The invention is therefore based on the object of avoiding these deficiencies and a rig for a sailing vehicle of the type described above to design that despite a high degree of independence of the direction of travel Sailing vehicle in relation to the wind direction the operating effort for the Sails can be kept low.
The invention solves this problem in that the sail between an upper layer symmetrical to the longitudinal median plane with a horizontal one Axis of symmetry and one that is also symmetrical to the longitudinal center plane lower layer with an axis of symmetry extending in height around the lying in the median longitudinal plane of the sailing vessel, in the direction of Bugs rising joint axis is freely rotatable on both sides, the inner angle between the hinge axis and the axis of symmetry of the Sail is 45 degrees.
With one on both sides around the in the median longitudinal plane of the sailing vehicle lying joint axis that rises in the direction of the bow is free rotatable bearing of the sail, the inner angle between the hinge axis and the axis of symmetry of the sail is 45 degrees, the possibility opens up according to the invention on known devices for holding the sail position to forego the wind direction, since the sail is always aligns itself according to the wind direction. So the symmetrical turns In the event of a wind load on the bow, sail in a symmetrical manner with respect to the median longitudinal plane top layer with horizontal axis of symmetry, which creates the sail in this location offers a comparatively small wind attack area, which is a rear drift of the sailing vehicle is practically prevented. With a rear Wind direction, the sail turns to its lower position with one in the height of the axis of symmetry of the sail.
Particularly advantageous sailing properties result if that Sails between a middle spar and two starting from the middle spar is spanned to each other V-shaped inclined edge spars and the central spar runs along the axis of symmetry of the sail. Is located now the sail in its upper position, the marginal spars extend to above, which follows the sail even with the smallest changes in wind direction allowed.
The swivel joint is used to create simple design relationships of the mast is designed as a joint sleeve in which one in the direction of the joint axis protruding approach of the middle spar is fixed against displacement. This can the inside angle between the middle spar and the shoulder have 45 degrees.
Are the marginal spars pivotable towards the middle spar on the Middle spar attached, so can with an undesirable high offense Sailing vehicle, for example due to high wind speeds, the sail area be made smaller. A tensioning and pulling device pulls one Swinging the edge spars together the sail, causing when parking the sail vehicle the sail is protected against environmental influences.

Mittelspiere 5 ausgehenden, zueinander V-förmig geneigt verlaufenden Randspieren
If the
