Abstract

The illumination device comprises at least one light emitting diode emitter (20) for emitting white light. The device also comprises distribution means (22) for increasing the light emission surface. Said distribution means are adapted to receive at least one incident light beam (23) provided by said light-emitting diode light emitter and to distribute said beam (21) in outgoing beams (24) to a light scattering zone (25); . The splitter allows for efficient mixing of light and color when the device has red, blue or green light emitters.
