Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a gutter connector according to the preamble of
The invention has for its object to improve a generic gutter-Anschtussstück to the effect that it reliably ensures a tight fit on the gutter and, if desired, a possible tight connection to the gutter.
This object is achieved by a gutter connector with the features of
In other words, the invention proposes designing the front end of the strip so that it completely traverses the free interior space of the gutter bead. In this way it is ensured that the front end is supported against the outer portion of the bead and thus ensures already at the opposite wall portion of the bead that there is the strip of the fitting rests against the gutter. In this way, an optimal tightness and a possible large-scale investment of the seal on the gutter is possible if this is desired, for example when it joins two channel sections as a connecting element, or if it terminates as an end of the open channel profile at one of the two ends of the gutter ,
At the rear end of the gutter, the connecting piece should surround the gutter. In particular, the fold of the channel provided there, the so-called "nose", should be encompassed by the connecting piece. As a result, a comparatively large bending radius is advantageously created in this rear region of the connecting piece, which avoids undesired material weakening of the connecting piece in this area and can also be redissolved and reused for any corrections without breaking; this in particular in contrast to mounting options in which the nose of the gutter is removed or placed flat on the gutter or placed so that known fittings, in particular known from practice gutter connector, must be bent in this area very sharp-edged by about 180 °.
Since the proposed fitting is supported in the most stable part of the channel, namely in the bead, and is literally hooked or hooked into this bead, both a tight fit of the connector is favored on the channel and thus ensures a tightness of the junction, if the connector is provided for a watertight connection to the gutter. In particular, when the bend at the front end of the fitting is adapted to the curvature of the channel bead, this bend in the fitting results in improved stability of this fitting. In particular, a play-free determination is effected at its attachment point in the Rinnenwulst, whereby the reliable sealing seat of the connection piece is ensured over a long time.
Advantageously, a secure seat or a tight contact of the connecting piece on the outside of the channel can be reinforced by the fact that the connecting piece is literally stretched around the channel. For this purpose, a tensioning aid can be provided in the rearmost end of the connecting piece. In the simplest case, this may be a hole into which a dowel pin can be placed, by means of which the rear end is levered around the nose of the channel, so that overall the connector is used close to the gutter outside.
It may be advantageous to divide the rear end of the fitting by corresponding slots in two or more tabs so that they can be individually bent. This facilitates the work for the user through lower applied forces and allows for optimal adaptation to e.g. curved gutter sections, or on height staggered abutting trough sections, as this can not be ruled out in practice.
If a clamping aid is provided on one of these tabs, this tab can first be stretched and fixed to the nose of the channel section, and then the one or more other tabs - possibly without tensioning aid - can be bent around the nose to the connector further set.
If each of the tabs is provided with a tensioning aid, on the one hand a particularly firm contact pressure of the connection piece to the channel can be made possible by the individual tabs are tensioned one after the other and in the subsequent tab due to the biasing force of each previously set tab the contact pressure of the connector to the Gutter can be reinforced.
Advantageously, the rear end of the connecting piece can be dimensioned so short that it - about U-shaped bent over the nose of the channel - not due to its great length inside the gutter must survive, but about G-shaped into the cavity below the nose can be folded further. In this way, not only is a cumbersome projection in the clear space of the channel avoided, but it is also ensured a particularly reliable determination of this second end of the channel, whereby the reliable sealing seat of the connector is still supported.
The reliable retention of the bent around the trough shape of the assembled connector can be effected in particular in the formation of the connector made of metal. Connectors made of other materials such. Plastic may have a metal core for the same reason. Optimal optical alignment of the fitting can be effected by making it of the same material, e.g. made of the same metal as the gutter.
Preferably, the connector may be configured with a seal provided on the inside of the strip. As a result, the installation of a separate, loose-to-handle seal is unnecessary and ensures the tightness of the connection made by the connector.

Das Anschlussstück 1 dient als Rinnenverbinder zur wasserdichten Verbindung zweier benachbarter RinnenabschnitteIn Fig. 1, 1 generally designates a fitting for a
In the illustration to the right or above, the
The

There, the
