Der Verlauf des Führungsschlitzes und die Gewindesteigung der Spindel können dabei derart aufeinander abgestimmt sein, dass sich bei einer Veränderung der Sitztiefe das Polster jeweils faltenfrei auf das Polsteraufnahmerohr aufrollt und von diesem abrollt. Der Führungsschlitz des Polsteraufnahmerohrs kann in Form und Länge individuell auf die verschiedensten Sitzträger abgestimmt werden. Dadurch wird das Trägerteil 12 bei einem Aufeinanderzubewegen der Muttern 18 durch Rotation der Spindel 16 mittels eines Handrads 17 weiter auf den Führungsrohren 13 nach außen gefahren, wodurch sich die Sitztiefe verlängert.
