Abstract

Es wird ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Überprüfung des Inhalts einer (geschlossenen) Packung mit einer Mehrzahl von vorzugsweise geordnet in Reihen angeordneten Gegenständen, insbesondere Packungen (23) einer Gebindepackung (11), wie Zigarettenpackungen (23) einer Zigarettenstange (11), oder Zigaretten einer Zigarettenpackung, hinsichtlich vollständiger Füllung und/oder korrekter Anordnung angegeben, bei dem/der ein Sensor, insbesondere ein Radarsensor (19), derart angeordnet und ausgerichtet ist, dass ausgestrahlte elektromagnetische Wellen einen Bereich einer Prüfwand der Packung (11) erfassen und zumindest teilweise durchdringen und reflektierte elektromagnetische Wellen vom Sensor (19) detektierbar sind, so dass anhand einer Reflektionscharakteristik der untersuchten Packung (11) auf die Vollständigkeit und ggf. korrekte Orientierung der in der Packung zusammengefassten Gegenstände geschlossen werden kann.
