Abstract
Es werden eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zur Steuerung einer Brennkraftmaschine beschrieben, bei dem ein Steuergerät Daten aus einem Datenträger ausliest und zur Steuerung verwendet. Der Datenträger ist wenigstens einem Stellglied zugeordnet und beinhaltet dieses Stellglied charakterisierende Daten. Das Steuergerät und das Stellglied sind über wenigstens eine Datenleitung und wenigstens eine weitere Leitung verbunden. Über die Datenleitung sind Daten von dem Steuergerät in den Datenträger einschreibbar und/oder von dem Steuergerät aus dem Datenträger auslesbar.
