Claims (8)

  1. A tent in the shape of a tunnel, having at least one hoop (4) on which a covering fabric (2) is arranged and optionally guided by associated holding means (3), with a fixing means of the ends (6, 7) of the hoop at a first distance (11) from each other on the area of ground, which first distance (11) is less than a second distance (12) between two maxima (8, 9) of the hoop (4) in the region of the mutually opposite sides of the tent, characterized in that second holding means are provided which engage with one of their ends on the maximum and are directed outwards from the said maximum.
  2. A tent according to Claim 1, characterized in that the respective end (6, 7) of the hoop and an area of ground situated inside the hoop (4) form an angle a which is greater than 90°, preferably at least 100°.
  3. A tent according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that, in order to fix the ends (6, 7) of the hoop laterally on the ground (B), optionally with tapered end portions, the said ends (6, 7) of the hoop engage in the ground (B) itself or in receiving means (10) fixed thereon.
  4. A tent according to one of the preceding Claims, characterized in that the holding means (12) are constructed in the form of anchoring devices acting outwards and engaging on the maxima (8, 9).
  5. A tent according to one of the preceding Claims, characterized in that the anchoring devices comprise at least one belt (13) and/or a strap fixed to the side of the covering fabric.
  6. A tent according to one of the preceding Claims, characterized in that the pre-tensioning applied outwards to the maxima (8, 9) is adjustable by means of the anchoring devices.
  7. A tent according to one of the preceding Claims, characterized in that the maxima (8, 9) are situated at a height h1 above the area of ground, wherein h1 is smaller [or] approximately 1/2 of the total height h2 of the tent, and h1 preferably corresponds to approximately 1/3 of the total height h2 of the tent.
  8. A tent according to one of the preceding Claims, characterized in that the respective hoop (4) is bent beforehand at least in part in accordance with the desired curvature and/or in accordance with the desired angle α.
