Abstract

Ein Separator mit selbstentleerender Schleudertrommel (1), der einen in der Schleudertrommel axial beweglichen Kolbenschieber (15) zum Verschließen und Freigeben von Feststoffaustragsöffnungen (17) aufweist, dessen Bewegung mittels eines Steuerfluids steuerbar ist, zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß in einem Steuerraum (25) am Kolbenschieber (15) ein beweglicher Steuerschieber angeordnet ist, der mit wenigstens einer oder mehreren Bohrungen (48) zwischen einem Öffnungsraum (57) und einem Schließraum (55) des Steuerraums (25) versehen ist. Der Steuerschieber ist vorzugsweise als Blechteil, insbesondere als axial verschieblicher Blechring, ausgebildet.
