Abstract
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Abgasanlage (2) für eine Brennkraftmaschine (1), insbesondere in einem Kraftfahrzeug, und besitzt zwei parallel durchströmbare Schalldämpfereinrichtungen (3, 4). Eine Schalteinrichtung (11) ermöglicht es, eine Abgasströmung der Brennkraftmaschine (1) wahlweise nur oder fast nur durch die erste Schalldämpfereinrichtung (3) oder nur oder fast nur durch die zweite Schalldämpfereinrichtung (4) oder parallel durch beide Schalldämpfereinrichtungen (3, 4) zu führen. Die beiden Schalldämpfereinrichtungen (3, 4) sind hinsichtlich Dämpfungswirkung und/oder Durchströmungswiderstand unterschiedlich ausgebildet.
