Definitions
- the invention relates to a line and / or circuit breaker according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such a circuit breaker is in terms of its principle of operation DE 34 09 513 and in terms of its mechanical realization DE 41 18 377 known, which discloses a circuit breaker according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the invention is based on the object, the circuit breaker after DE 34 09 513 in a way that performs a more rational manufacturing than the execution DE 41 18 377 allowed.
- the same parts can be used for all three phases.
- the principle is generally applicable to circuit breakers and particularly advantageous, if not as a result of large quantities separate preparations are cheaper.
- the proposed solution is favored by a position of the in the course along the side wall angled continuative conductor strip near the longitudinal center of the circuit breaker.
- a main current path 1 in which an overcurrent responsive thermal release 2, a responsive short-circuiting magnetic mechanism 3 and one of the thermal release 2 and actuated by the magnetic mechanism 3 separation point 4 are arranged.
- the magnetic mechanism 3 and the separation point 4 are bridged by a Maustromweg 5.
- a second thermal release 6 an electrical resistance 7 of in the example about 0.4 to about 4 ⁇ for the rated currents of 10 to 100 A and a second separation point 8 is arranged.
- another current path 9 branches off to the neutral conductor.
- the normal current flow is at the closed separation point 4 via the main flow path 1.
- the simultaneous flow of current through the Maustromweg 5, in which the separation point 8 is also closed, is insignificant because of the resistor 7.
- the further current path 9 is interrupted by the, open, separating points 11 and 12.
- the magnetic mechanism 3 attracts and opens the separation point 4 via the mechanism 15.
- the main flow path 1 is thus immediately interrupted.
- About the Maustromweg 5 only a significantly reduced current continues to flow. If the short circuit in the line section between the circuit breaker and a downstream circuit breaker, so opens after a certain period of time to which it is designed, the thermal release 6 via the mechanism 14 and the second separation point 8. The interruption by the circuit breaker is now complete and final.
- the short circuit If the short circuit is behind a downstream circuit breaker, it usually responds approximately simultaneously with the magnet mechanism 3, but in any case long before the thermal release 2, and disconnects the short circuit point. This increases the voltage at the input of the further current path 9.
- the separation point 11 of the further current path 9 had been closed when opening the separation point 4 by the movement mechanism 17.
- a current flow was, as long as short circuit, practically not available, especially because of the separation point 11 immediately downstream resistor 13. Due to the voltage increase after disconnection of the short-circuit point but now flows a current of such strength that the second magnetic mechanism 10 responds.
- the mechanism 17 again opens the separating points 11 and 12.
- All the other downstream consumers than the one in whose branch the short circuit is located still have voltage.
- the thermal release 2 responds, unless a downstream circuit breaker opens previously. It opens via the mechanism 14, the second separation point 8 and further via the mechanism 15, the separation point 4. Also in this case, the interruption by the circuit breaker is complete and final. Similarly, this can be done by operating a mechanism 14 coupled to the hand lever 18.
- the reconnection of the circuit breaker by hand is carried out in such a way that by corresponding pivoting of the hand lever 18, the mechanism 14 closes the second separation point 8 and responsive to the magnetic mechanism 10 in the further current path 9 and, as already described above, the separation point in the main flow path 1 closes.
- the main current path 1 begins at "LE" - the terminal concerned is not shown - at a connected to the separation point 4 component of the separation point 4, namely a continuation 19 of a first bracket 20 of a spark-extinguishing chamber 21, with the separation point 4 is provided.
- this one end of a coil 23 of the magnetic mechanism '3 is connected, in which the main flow path continues behind the separation point 4.
- the main flow 1 also includes a fork 24 with two brackets 25, which closes in plant the bracket 25 on the brackets 20 and 22, the main flow path and opens by removing the brackets 20 and 22, the main flow path. At the contact surfaces contact pads are shown.
- the spatial design of the fork 24 is best Fig. 9 remove.
- the belonging to the separation point 4 spark-quenching chamber 21 is of conventional type and need not be described in detail.
- the magnet mechanism 3 is in addition to the coil 23 of an anchor 26 surrounded by this, which has at one end a pull rod 27 with a plate 28 and at the other end a striker 29.
- the other end of the, for illustrative reasons only drawn with three turns, coil 23 is connected via a wide movable braided wire 30 with a bimetal, which is the thermal release 2.
- the bimetal is attached to a turn fixed member 31, and at its end a screw is arranged as an adjustable pressure pin 60.
- the last section of the main flow path 1 extends to the exit labeled "LA".
- the bypass flow path 5 branches off from the main flow path to the second separation point 8: the one fixed contact is at 32 as a console to the above Continued 19 formed, the other, movable, contact 33 on a contact member 34. From this, the Maustromweg 5 is continued by a contact in any position against him contact fields 35, a plate 36, in which the contact fields 35 passes, the, in Fig., 2 and 3 concealed, adjacent to the plate 36 resistor 7, a fixed structural arrangement of this outgoing, the second thermal release 6 forming bimetal and welded at 37 to the bimetal dashed thin litz 38, the other hand at 39 attached to the component 31 , so that the Maustromweg 5 opens again here in the main flow path 1.
- the further current path 9 branches off from the main current path 1 with a bi-bent bending spring 41 which bears against the component 31 under prestressing at 40.
- the bending spring 41 splits into two slightly mutually entangled contact tongues 42 and 43. These form together with mating contacts 44,244, the third and the fourth separation point 11 and 12, the second resistor 13, a PTC, and the diode 158, the resistor 13 before Overvoltage protects are arranged on a common carrier 159 with the mating contacts 44 and 244.
- the resistor 13 is not visible in the drawing, as is the wiring. From there, the further current path 9 leads through a conductor 45 into a coil 46 of the second magnet mechanism 10. Following this, it is formed by a component 47 which extends as far as the more remote end of the circuit breaker and ends here with a connection terminal 48 ,
- a support skid 52 is held by a pawl 51, on which by means of a movable from the manual shift lever 18 from intermediate rod 53 a force acting on the contact member 34 push rod 54 is supported.
- the pawl 51 and the support runner 52 are mounted on fixed hinge axes 55 and 56, the intermediate rod 53 and the push rod 54 are hingedly connected on both sides.
- the contact member 34 which has a U-shaped cross-section, with the exception of its contact 33 bearing end acts against the projecting between the U-legs and hinged to the U-legs push rod 54 pressing from behind on the U-web contact spring 35th
- the position of the contact member 34 is determined by the contact of the contact 33 on the fixed Contact 32 on the one hand and by the support of the push rod 54 on the support skid 52 and the intermediate rod 53 on the other hand, wherein the contact spring 35 generates the contact forces and hold by a fixed cross pin 57 slots 58 in the two U-legs hold the contact member 34 in the rest.
- Fig. 2 Missing in Fig. 2 shown support the push rod 54, the contact spring 35 pivots the, held by the cross pin 57 at the end of the slots 58, contact member 34 and the separation point 8 is opened.
- the push rod 54 is the support according to Fig. 2 withdrawn on the support skid 52 either by moving the shift lever 18 in the off position, with a weak contact elsewhere according to Fig. 3 results or in that the pawl 51, actuated by the pressure pin 60 of the thermal release 2 or a same pressure pin of the thermal release 6, the support skid 52 leaves free and then pivots back in their joint 56.
- the hand lever 18 then returns under the action of a voltage applied to him, only in Fig. 5 drawn leg spring 157 itself in the "off" position back.
- the support skid 52 and its pawl 51 bring themselves back to their mutual position when the push rod 54 has been removed from the support point on the support skid 52 by moving the shift lever 18 to the "off" position and the thermal release 2 and 6, respectively has withdrawn.
- How the support skid 52 is held in detail by the pawl 51 can remain open here.
- One possibility is in DE 41 18 377 specified.
- the push rod 54 presses the contact member 34 under further tension of the contact spring 35 and closes the separation point 8.
- the shift lever 18 thereby exceeds a dead center when its connected to the intermediate rod 53 lever arm occupies the straight angle with the intermediate rod 53. Beyond the dead center, the arrangement itself holds its position. Switching off by hand is reversed.
- the mechanism 15 over which, as mentioned, the separation point 4 can be opened both by the magnet mechanism 3 and by the end member of the mechanism 14, consists, as a whole, from one mentioned as a closing contact fork 24 holding lever 59 which is mounted on an axle 61 and held against the force of, acting directly on another part, spring 62 in the closed position of the fork 24 by a its other end engaging pawl 63 (hidden in the drawings).
- the armature 26 of the magnetic mechanism '3 with its plate 28 and a connecting lever 64 ( Fig. 3 . 4 ) unlatch the pawl 63 which is pushed by the end member of the mechanism 14, namely the contact member 34.
- the lever 59 consists essentially of a near the axis 61 angled sheet metal part U-shaped cross-section.
- the fork 24 is, not shown in detail, at 131 ( Fig. 9 ) is mounted as a lever in the lever 59, namely wobble and with electrical insulation.
- the wobble mounting ensures the contact of both yokes 25 of the fork; it evenly distributes the contact force to both.
- the pawl 63 is a, designed as a plastic molding, lever.
- the lever is mounted on a fixed axis 66. It is pulled in the locking position of the pawl by a tension spring 80.
- the plate 28 of the armature 23 abuts against it; the lever engages in a hook-shaped manner around the pull rod 27 under the plate 28.
- the armature 26 pulls on, it is thus unlatched.
- the remaining force of the armature 26 is transmitted by the striker 29 directly to the fork 24, in addition to the force of the tension spring 62.
- the separation point 4 is opened accordingly quickly.
- the power arm of said connecting lever 64 has with the contact member 34 a both pressure and train transmitting, movable hook connection, which need not be described in detail.
- the load arm is, starting from the lever axis 68, double existing.
- the in Fig. 3 and 4 Visible a load arm 69 continues to act on a pressurized ball 70 formed on it, whereupon further down is still received.
- the other, shorter load arm lies in Fig. 3 and 4 hidden behind the load arm 69.
- end 130 acts next to the plate 28 at 71 on the pawl 63rd Opens the contact member 34, the second separation point 8, it presses on the connecting lever 64. This presses the lever of the pawl 63 and thus also triggers the opening of the separation point 4.
- the contact member 34 pulls the connecting lever 64 again with it and pivots it back about its lever axis 68 in the normal position.
- the mechanism 16 for closing the separation point 4 has the following structure:
- the second magnet mechanism 10 has an armature 49 which is provided at its end with two laterally projecting dogs 50.
- a sheet metal part 72 is U-shaped with a back 73 and two cheeks and is mounted on an axle 74 as a lever. The two cheeks grasp with projections 75 at their ends under the driver 50 of the armature 49th
- the sheet metal part 72 is pivoted.
- the counterforce comes from the above-mentioned tension spring 62, which acts on a bracket 76 of the sheet metal part 72, which after the closing process in turn at 77 (FIG. Fig. 9 ) presses in the opening direction of the separation point 4 on the lever 59.
- the lever 59 protrudes with his, largely hidden in the drawings, a lever arm between the cheeks of the sheet metal part 72 therethrough and is on the inside of the back 73 of the sheet metal part 72 at.
- the sheet metal part 72 engages here on the lever 59 totechnischzuschwenken it from the open position of the separation point 4 in the closed position under tension of the, very strong and held by its holder 78 with adjustable traction spring 62. From the struck arrangement of the axis 74 in the region of the lever arm of the lever 59 results in the best possible power transmission from the sheet metal part 72 on the lever 59th
- Fig. 2 shows the end of the remindverschwenkung of the lever 59. Shortly before the end of the upper edge of the lever 59 detects the lower edge of the pawl 63 and pushes it upwards. Finally, the pawl 63 snaps in front of the counter surface facing it at the end of the lever 59.
- the described reset operation has a preprocess in the mechanism 17 as follows:
- a contact carrier 81 is pivotally mounted on a fixed axle 79 (see in particular Fig. 8 ). It is a molded plastic part in which the bending spring 41 with the contact tongues 42 and 43 has a suitable seat. It is held in the seat by an insert member 156 which engages axially with a cylindrical part in the one bend of the S-shaped double-bent bending spring 41 and is positioned approximately in the pivot axis 79 of the contact carrier. The other, smaller bend extends between the cylindrical part and the fixed member 31. It remains here even when pivoting the contact carrier 81 is quite unchanged.
- the separating point 4 is opened when the second separating point 8 remains closed ( Fig. 4 ) and thus drops the previous support of the contact carrier 81 by the lever 59, so the bending spring 41 pivots the contact carrier 81 with the contact tongue 51 around until the contact carrier 81 abuts on one driver 50 mentioned.
- the contact tongue 42 sets to its mating contact 44.
- the contact tongue 43 is due to the entanglement of the two contact tongues 42 and 43 against each other just yet on their mating contact 244.
- the entanglement is due to different height of a support 84 (FIGS. Fig. 8 ), which is formed in the contact carrier 81 for the contact tongues 42 and 43, respectively.
- the separation point 11 has been closed and the separation point 12 has remained open.
- the magnetic mechanism 10 current this is first throttled by the resistor 13.
- the resistor 13 is bridged, and with the now flowing full current of the magnetic mechanism can pull back the lever 59 in the closed position of the separation point 4.
- the lever 59 abuts the lever arm 82 and thus pivots the contact carrier 81 in the open position the separation points 11 and 12.
- a first assembly 85 comprises the parts 6, 60, 7, 35, 36.
- a second assembly 86 comprises the parts 18, 34, 51-58. Both assemblies are shown together in Fig. 5 to 7 ,

- a plate 88 On the plate 88 is located on the stripped, inner end of the coil 87 of the steel foil strip. It forms the one contact. The other contact is the already mentioned elsewhere plate 36.
- stripped end of the steel foil strip is pressed over its entire width by the one edge of a U-shaped enclosure 89 of the coil 87, here, where the end 100 is interposed, the plate 36 abuts.
- the contact pressure is caused by three protruding at the edge, by elongated holes 90 in the steel foil strip and openings 91 in the plate 36 cross and behind this limited tabs 92 (drawn instead of entanglement is a bend).
- the other edge of the U-shaped skirt 89 is connected by means of tabs 93 and apertures 94 directly to the plate 36.
- the winding 87 is thus firmly enclosed in a kind of box around.
- the plate 36 as the one wall of the box projects laterally beyond the enclosure 89. It has here also mentioned above contact spring 35.
- the box is slightly above the winding 87 at its two open ends.
- the plate 88 is still in the two open end faces on the box over.

- An analog fault indication is available for the second separation point 8 by itself in such a way that then hold the intermediate rod 53 and the push rod 54 in the extended position the manual shift lever 18 well before its final position. This is an advantage resulting from the new arrangement.
- the one contact 25 of the separation point 4 is arranged on a movable member 24, of which a rod 151 hinged to it is placed to the manual control lever 18 of the circuit breaker, with the separation point 4 closed in the pivoting of the load arm of the hand lever 18 terminates so as to jam the hand lever 18 as a trouble indication in its pivotal path when the contact 25 sticks, and the manual shift lever 18 is movable via an intermediate rod 53 and a push rod 54 having a contact 343 of the second separation point Contact member 34 is connected such that upon adhesion of the contact 33, the intermediate rod 53 and the push rod 54 in the extended position hold the hand lever 18 as a fault indicator before its final position.
- the strand 38 was to be attached to the member 31 at 39 by means of a clamp.
- the present application could be moved to a front level with the result that also the movement mechanism 14 could be concentrated in the front plane and thus firstly a division into the independent assemblies 85 and 86 was possible and secondly, the operative connection of the contact member 34 via the Connecting lever 64 with the pawl 63 and the lever arm 83 of the contact carrier 81st structurally and montagetechnisch simplified, which in turn could be followed by the Auffeilung in the other modules 127 and 129 rather.
- the number of parts is reduced from 151 to 107 in total.
- the construction according to the prior art includes a total supporting framework on which the parts are attached and installed in cumbersome, tedious manual work.
- the framework with the built-in parts is introduced as a whole into the housing; on the walls are more bearings u.
- the assemblies 85, 86, 127, 129 which can be produced independently and largely by machine, are laid as packages in one half box 111 of the housing as a whole and the other half box 114 is placed over it.
- the contact arrangement with the bending spring 41 and the resistor 7 are completely redesigned and also used elsewhere. The latter also applies to the basic assembly technology with between two parallel walls of a flat circuit breaker housing only used modules.
- the external functional diagram of the miniature circuit breaker has been retained in consideration of the general installation technology.
- the input terminal and the output terminal are on the front sides, the neutral terminal is in a conventional position, the manual lever 18 is arranged and operated as usual, etc.
- the circuit breaker to FIGS. 14 to 22 is in the final assembly also composed of four assemblies 85, 86, 127 and 129, which are installed in a housing consisting of two half boxes 111 and 114 housing.
- Fig. 14 shows the half-box 111, in which the modules are inserted during assembly, after the insertion of the assemblies 85 (hidden) and 86 and before the onset of, already assembled with each other, assemblies 127 and 129th
- Fig. 15 shows the half box 111 with the fully inserted assemblies 85, 86, 127 and 129 prior to the insertion of two items, a rod 151 and a connecting lever 64 and before overlying the other half box 114th
- Fig. 16 and 17 do not give up the assembly sequence again. They show the interaction of structural adjustments on the Fig. 1 and 2 opposite side.
- Fig. 14 and 16 the housing of the circuit breaker on a rear wall 201, which is formed in each case half in the two half-boxes 111 and 114. Between projecting on the rear wall lugs 202 and further projections 203 and 204, three seats 205, 206 and 207 are formed for three bus bars each having a phase.
- the miniature circuit breaker can be fitted with these, adapted to the width of the busbar seats, precisely on the relevant three busbars.
- With a hook-shaped extension 208 of the projection 203 it engages under the busbar of the neutral conductor, where it can be adjusted with a removable insert 209 simple and double thickness of the busbar and a nose 215 is above the busbar.
- a latching hook 210 which likewise has to be adapted to the thickness of the busbar, grips under the local busbar of the phase.
- the circuit breaker is placed on the busbars by first being pushed with the hook-shaped extension 208 under the busbars of the neutral conductor and then swung onto the other busbars; at the end of the hook 210 snaps under this.
- the hook-shaped extension 208 and the latching hook 210 are formed partly on the half-shells 111 and 114 and partly on the assemblies 127 and 129, respectively, which contribute to the housing wall with narrow wall sections 211 between the half-shells 111 and 114 corresponding here.
- the formation of the hook-shaped projection 208 and the nose 215 on the part of the half-box 114 and the other part of the assembly 127 are in Fig. 15 best to recognize. They close to one another laterally.
- the insert 209 is held on the assembly 127 and engages the half-box 114 via.
- a busbar normal thickness does not touch the hook-shaped directly Extension 208, but the insert 209.
- the insert 209 is removed and the bus bar is located directly between the hook-shaped extension 208 and the nose 215th
- the latching hook 210 is best in Fig. 16 and 17 to recognize: In two formed on the half-boxes 111 and 114 sockets 213 sits a flat bending spring 214 made of plastic, which is made in one piece with two, an inclined surface 216 having hook legs 217.
- the bending spring 214 For adaptation to a busbar single or double thickness is the bending spring 214 with a two lateral projections 218 having resilient member 219 and the socket 213 is provided at its two parts each with two cuts 220 with which the projections 218 can be selectively engaged , by pushing back the resilient member 219 so that the projections 219 emerge rearwardly from the previously taken incisions 210, and move the bending spring 214 in the socket 213rd
- a guide 221 is still provided in each of the further projections 204 of the two half-boxes 111 and 114 for a nozzle 222 which projects laterally out of the two hook legs 217.
- a contact clip 225 is disposed as a contact for electrical connection to this bus bar.
- the contact clip 225 is formed by a sheet metal strip bent from a resilient spring material U-shaped and bent back after the one U-leg and then bent to a lying in the extension of the back of the contact clip lug 226.
- the two U-thighs of Brackets are 227 and 228, the back is 229 and the back bend is 230.
- the flag 226 is connected to another flag 231 of a continuing conductor strip 232. This is angled after a short in-plane bend to a short intermediate portion 233 out of the plane and then lies in a flat enclosure 234 which is formed on a frame structure 235 of the assembly 129. The continuation in the assembly 129 will be discussed below. At the half box 111, see Fig.
- the contact clip 225 When handling the assembly 129, the tabs 231 and 226 and the contact clip 225 protrude freely.
- the contact clip 225 is held in such a manner that its legs 227 and 228 protrude through two openings 239 and 240 in the rear wall 201 and their back 229 is loosely gripped in each of the two half-shells 111 and 114 from the side between a relatively narrow lateral support 241 for the inside and an anvil 242 for the outside of the back.
- This loose holder allows the contact clip, tolerance-compensating the position of the busbar to adapt exactly and to invest with their legs 227 and 228 with correspondingly undiminished contact pressure on the narrow sides of the busbar.
- An essential part of the tolerance compensation is made possible by the loop 230 created with the bend.
- the leg 227 of the contact rail 225 disposed on the seat 205 for a bus bar lies between the hook legs 217 of the latching hook 210 to engage under this bus bar.
- the openings 239 and 240 and the support 241 and the counter-holder 242 have the half-boxes 111 and 114 also at the locations of the busbars of the other two phases, ie on the seats 206 and 207th
- the unused openings 239 and 240 are closed by inserts 243 and 244.
- the insert parts 243 and 244 of the two respectively associated openings 239 and 240 are on the inside of the rear wall by webs 245th connected to each other and hold with strip-shaped projections 246 behind the rear wall.
- the connected inserts are in Fig. 14 and 16 drawn in their spatial association with the assemblies 127 and 129. But they are separate parts from these.
- Fig. 18 is the contact clip 225 disposed on the seat 206 and the seats 205 and 207, the openings for the legs of a contact clip with inserts 243 and 244 are closed.
- Fig. 19 the contact clip 225 is located on the seat 207.
- the contact clip 225, the back 229 of the contact clip, the flag 226 and the further flag 231 are aligned parallel to the surface to the rear wall 201 and covered by an intermediate wall 247, ie divided from the rest of the housing space.
- the intermediate wall 247, as well as the rear wall 201, are each half formed in the half-boxes 111 and 114.
- the cylindrical bulges 248 on the rear wall 201 and the intermediate wall 247 are manufacturing-related and in the line switch without function.
- the Fig. 14 appearing gap in the intermediate wall 247 at the lead-out of the secondary conductor 232 is closed by the mentioned frame structure 235.
- Fig. 20 is the arrangement of the contact clip 225 with respect to the further flag 231 and the secondary conductor 232, as after Fig. 17 . 18 and 20 is intended, drawn for itself.
- the free ends of the two lugs 226 and 231 are connected to each other, for example spot-welded.
- Center is connected to the contact clip 225 end of the flag 226 connected to the free end of the flag 231 in reversely aligned contact clip 225.
- the contact clip 225 according to Fig. 19 and Fig. 20 right is, with the same orientation of the contact clip as in Fig. 18 and Fig. 20 Center, connected to the continuing conductor strip 232 subsequent end of the flag 231 to the free end of the flag 226.
- the alignment of the contact clip corresponds in the half boxes 111 and 114, respectively, the arrangement of different sized openings 239 for the sole U-leg 227 and 240 for the U-leg 228 and the back bend 230 together.
- Fig. 21 illustrates the continuation of the continuing conductor strip 232 in the assembly 129th
- Carrying mechanical part of this assembly is the already mentioned frame structure 235 made of plastic. It provides, together with the half-boxes 111 and 114, the support of a line component 249 and a substantially identical line component 250, which have two fixed contacts 251 of the main separation point of the circuit breaker. It also provides, together with the half-boxes 111 and 114, the support for two spark-extinguishing chambers 21 into which the line components 249 and 250 extend. It finally has the mechanically supporting part of a magnetic mechanism 3 for opening the separation point and, in the form of a chamber 254, the mechanically bearing part of a fixed contact 32 of a second separation point 8.
- the already mentioned flat enclosure 234 for the continuing conductor strip 232 is formed on the, designed in principle as a ring cylinder, part 253 axially parallel to this and angled at the upper end at 255 in the area shortly after the page. A matching angling can be seen at the counterpart 236 in the half box 111 at 256. The corresponding angled continuative conductor strip 232 is then angled out of the surface at 257 in the assembly inside. About further Ab- and Umwinkelept he continues until in the chamber 254, where he carries the contact 32 at its end. In front of the chamber 254, it is inserted with a bore 258 on a fixed bolt 259 of the frame structure 235 and thus held.
- the lead member 249 is attached via a rectangular plate 260 to the portion of the continuing conductor strip 232 bent at 257.
- the plate 260 has a free projection on both sides, on the side of the angle 257, however, only next to the curvature of the bend.
- At the other end of the conduit member 249 is also a rectangular broadening 261 with free lateral projections.
- the front projections in the drawings reach during the final assembly of the circuit breaker in a receptacle 264 and a socket 265 of the half-box 111 ( Fig. 14 ).
- the quenching chamber walls 145 are placed in the bordering frame 266 of the frame 235 and 144 of the bordering frame 111, respectively.
- the lead member 250 is provided with a same plate 260 and a same widening 261 as the lead member 249.

The normal current flow is at the closed separation point 4 via the
If a short circuit occurs, the

If the short circuit is behind a downstream circuit breaker, it usually responds approximately simultaneously with the
The separation point 11 of the further current path 9 had been closed when opening the separation point 4 by the
Thus, the normal state of the circuit breaker is restored. All the other downstream consumers than the one in whose branch the short circuit is located still have voltage.
If the overcurrent case occurs, the thermal release 2 responds, unless a downstream circuit breaker opens previously. It opens via the

The reconnection of the circuit breaker by hand is carried out in such a way that by corresponding pivoting of the

After this overview of the current paths, the other mechanical parts of the circuit breaker will be described below.
In the
On the

The
