Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a camouflage net with a carrier material in the form of a knitted fabric made of polyester fibers, with fractions of metal and plastic in fiber or pigment form and with a Tarnfarbenbeschichtung.
The previously known camouflage net is not only effective against detection in the radar and in the thermal image, but also against detection in the near infrared range.
The present invention has the object zügrunde a camouflage net of the type described to further improve, especially in terms of its effectiveness and its handling in use.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that in the knitted fabric made of polyester metal-coated polyamide fibers are introduced, and that the polyamide fibers are arranged distributed confused in the knitted fabric of polyester fibers.
By using metal coated or metallized polyamide instead of the previous metal fibers to obtain larger surfaces while maintaining a percentage basis weight of the introduced metal and thus a higher reflection surface. The metallized polyamide fibers incorporated into the polyester knit provide a significantly improved result in radar absorption and scattering, i. a better directional independence.
By introducing metallized polyamide, which is preferably arranged in a random manner or in different directions in the knitted fabric, the radar damping values are significantly improved. The metallized polyamide fibers, which are responsible for a reflection are, give a much better scattering effect as the previously known metal fibers, which were oriented predominantly in one direction.
In a very advantageous embodiment of the invention, polyamide fibers with electrically conductive pigments or fibers can additionally be introduced into the knitted fabric, through which the required absorption of radar beams is achieved. By this measure, a layer, namely the polymer layer can be saved in comparison to the known camouflage net. The multi-layered structure or the complex layers in the known camouflage net could lead to varying dependencies in the use of the necessary amount of binding and the flame retardant, which was sometimes a disadvantage for the effectiveness of the camouflage net. By dispensing with the polymer layer, the camouflage net as a whole is also lighter and thus easier to handle. At the same time, this means that the camouflage net according to the invention already has a basic damping for an IR remission (infrared) and thus a reduced proportion of carbon and thus binding amounts are required in the case of the printing inks for a camouflage layer and for flame protection. In addition, the camouflage netting according to the invention thus also becomes more flexible.
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention can be provided that in addition to the knitted fabric In a transverse weft polyester fibers are introduced with metal-coated and / or provided with electrically conductive pigments or fibers polyamide fibers.
By this measure according to the invention a better effect and usability of the camouflage net is achieved again.
Advantageous developments and refinements emerge from the remaining dependent claims and from the exemplary embodiment shown in principle below with reference to the drawing.
