Claims (4)
- Procédé de mise en volume et d'assemblage partiel, en continu, à partir d'un flan prédécoupé et refoulé, d'un conditionnement en un matériau semi-rigide tel que le carton ou le carton ondulé, du type comprenant une pluralité de parois latérales (1) articulées entre elles par des premières lignes de pliage et dont certaines au moins comportent, à au moins l'une de leurs extrémités, un volet (2, 3) dit "rabat" articulé sur la paroi (1) attenante par une seconde ligne de pliage, les lignes de pliage associées aux volets (2, 3) disposés à une même extrémité des parois étant disposées dans un même plan transversal, de manière que les volets rabattus soient disposés sensiblement dans ce plan au contact des volets contigus et assemblés et verrouillés par des moyens connus dans la technique, ce procédé comprenant des étapes de mise en volume et d'assemblage des parois latérales (1) du conditionnement et des étapes de pliage des rabats (2) disposés à une même extrémité de certaines de ces parois perpendiculairement à celles-ci et d'assemblage éventuel de ces rabats, la mise en forme du flan, de préférence replié au préalable en forme de U ou de J autour des premières lignes de pliage étant effectuée autour d'un conformateur (5) de section externe générale correspondant au moins partiellement à la section interne du conditionnement à former, le conformateur (5) étant entraíné par un système moteur et passant par des stations successives, dans lesquelles ou entre lesquelles des organes fixes ou mobiles effectuent les opérations suivantes :les parois (1) du conditionnement sont amenées dans leur position finale par pliage autour du conformateur, en épousant la forme externe de celui-ci ;dans cette position, deux parois contiguës non attenantes du conditionnement sont assemblées entre elles par collage d'une partie (4) attenante à l'une d'entre elles, qui vient à recouvrement sur l'autre paroi, ou sont jonctionnées à l'aide d'un moyen indépendant ;les rabats (2) disposés en des positions contiguës à une même extrémité du conditionnement sont repliés perpendiculairement aux parois attenantes et sont assemblés entre eux ;le conditionnement ainsi mis en volume et partiellement assemblé, mais ouvert à l'extrémité des parois opposée à celle où les rabats (2) sont assemblés entre eux, est séparé du conformateur (5) par coulissement par rapport à celui-ci ;
ce procédé étant caractérisé en ce que, entre son point de départ et celui où le conditionnement mis en volume et partiellement assemblé est séparé du conformateur (5), ce dernier se déplace en continu sans aucune interruption de son mouvement. - Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que plusieurs conformateurs (5) sont utilisés en synchronisation.
- Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la partie (4) préalablement encollée attenante à une paroi (1) est amenée en contact à recouvrement avec une paroi (1) contiguë sous la sollicitation d'un guide fixe au cours de son déplacement sous l'entraínement du conformateur (5).
- Dispositif pour la mise en oeuvre du procédé selon la revendication 1, ce dispositif comprenant au moins un conformateur rigide (5) de section externe générale correspondant au moins partiellement à la section interne du conditionnement (6) à réaliser, un moyen d'alimentation (10) de ce conformateur avec un flan prédécoupé et refoulé, de préférence préalablement replié en U ou en J, un moyen pour entraíner le conformateur (5) et le flan dans des stations successives, des moyens fixes ou mobiles étant prévus dans ces stations ou entre celles-ci pour replier l'ensemble des parois (1) du flan autour du conformateur (5) de manière à épouser la forme de celui-ci, ainsi que des moyens pour rendre solidaires l'une de l'autre dans cette position deux parois contiguës (1) non attenantes, un moyen pour replier les rabats (2), disposés en des positions contiguës à une extrémité des parois et pour assembler ces rabats, et un moyen apte à faire coulisser l'un par rapport à l'autre le conditionnement (6) ainsi mis en forme et partiellement assemblé et le conformateur pour les séparer l'un de l'autre, ce dispositif étant caractérisé en ce que le moyen entraínant le conformateur (5) lui imprime un mouvement continu, sans aucune interruption, entre son point de départ et celui où le conditionnement mis en volume et partiellement assemblé est séparé du conformateur.
