Abstract

Ground anchor designed to be screwed into the ground, comprising a shaft (3), whose upper end (8a) is provided with a bearing part (8) that can be placed on the ground, and a manipulation device (9). Said anchor has several screw-thread blades (5, 6, 7) consisting of a flat material, which spiral around the shaft (3), are arranged along the shaft (3) at a distance from one another in an offset manner, and respectively consist of a screw thread with upper and lower blade ends (11, 12). The length of the thread of the individual blades (5, 6, 7) slightly exceeds 360°, so that the perimeter of the blade ends (11, 12) overlaps, forming a cutting gap (11a) that is delimited by a plane on its upper and lower borders. The exterior diameter of the blades (5, 6, 7) decreases from blade to blade from the bearing part (8) down towards the lower end of the shaft. The shaft tip (22) is configured in the same manner as a wood-screw shaft, with a conical core (23) that tapers towards the tip of the free lower shaft end (25) and a continuous thread (27) spiralling around said core (23).

Description

The invention relates to an earth anchor for screwing into the ground, with a shaft that has a support part that can be placed on the ground in the region of its upper end and a handling device, with a plurality of helical winding blades made of flat material that wind around the shaft and that run along the shaft are arranged offset from one another and each consist of a screw turn with upper and lower blade ends,
the winding length of the individual blades being dimensioned at a little more than 360 °, so that the blade ends overlap in the circumferential direction to form a cutting gap which is delimited at the top and bottom,
with an outer diameter of the blades that decreases from the support part to the lower shaft end from blade to blade.

Such an earth anchor is known from DE 44 24 339 C2. This ground anchor has proven itself in practice. It has good stability even in sandy soils.

It is an object of the invention to further increase the stability of this ground anchor and to change it so that it is easier to screw it into the ground.

Starting from the preamble of claim 1, which is based on the above-mentioned reference, the object is achieved according to the invention by the further features of this claim Kind of a wood screw shank is formed with a free lower one Shanking tapered core and one winding around the core.

An earth anchor with this shaft tip has one after screwing it into the ground increased stability. It is essential, however, that he is easier in lets the floor screw in. This is because the wood screw shaped Shaft tip pulls the shaft down with the spaced blades and thus the spaced blades when screwing in or screwing in are loaded down on train. They cut themselves down into the Bottom one.

According to a further embodiment of the invention it is provided that the Helix turn angle in the area of the core of the shaft tip is greater than the pitch angle of the spaced blades. With this Increased pitch angle loads the shaft tip on the ground anchor when screwing in intensified down.

According to a further embodiment of the invention it is provided that the Screw thread turn in the area of the shaft tip extends from the core to the outside has a wedge-shaped tapering cross-sectional profile. This is wedge-shaped tapering cross-sectional profile turns the shaft tip into a kind of drill that fits into digs the ground.

According to a further embodiment of the invention it is provided that the height of the Screw thread turn, apart from the outlet area at the free end of the Shaft tip, is essentially constant.

According to a further embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the shaft tip is precisely centered on the shaft. Precise centering is important for easy and clean entry into the floor.

According to a further embodiment of the invention it is provided that the Ball cup in the swash head by means of a clamping screw in a set Tumble position can be locked. Careless or unwanted adjustment of the intended position of the swash head can be avoided.

According to a further embodiment of the invention it is provided that the Clamping screw is a grub screw.

According to a further embodiment of the invention it is provided that the bottom of the spaced blades at the lower end edge one opposite the remaining blades spaced apart has reinforced cranking. This Increased cranking of the lower end edge promotes easier screwing in.

The ground anchor loosens when screwing it into the ground. It was suspected that the ground anchor is therefore less secure. But this is a mistake.

By loosening up the seat strength and thus the resilience elevated.

The dimensioning of the ground anchor depends on the particular application customized. It is suitable for the smallest dimension, for example the Tent anchorage, up to large dimensions when used to secure foundations in building construction.

The invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawing.

The drawing shows an earth anchor with a shaft, at the top of which one Support part and a handling device are provided. Along the shaft individual screw winding blades are arranged at a distance. The one in the ground penetrating shaft tip located below is designed as a wood screw shaft. It runs conically towards the free end and is on the outer wall with one continuous screw thread formed as a thread rib provided, the pitch angle is greater than that of the spaced individual screw turn blades.

The ground anchor 1 shown in the drawing consists of a shaft 3, the its upper end is provided with a support part 8. The support part 8 is made from a plate 8a and a collar 8b, which is completely self-contained Edge of the plate 8a extends downwards. The diameter of the support part 8 is for example, 4 cm larger than that of screw winding blades 5,6,7 that are on distribute mutual distance along the shaft 3 and described in more detail become. The difference in diameter can also be greater than 4 cm. On the plate 8a a fastening device 9 is attached, preferably welded. The shaft 3 reaches through the plate 8a into the fastening device 9.

The blades 5.6.7 on the shaft 3 consist of flat sheet material. You squirm individually around the shaft 3 and have a winding length that is slightly larger than that Length of a full turn of 360 °. In this way it results in everyone Blade 5,6,7 each between the upper blade end 11 and the lower Blade end 12 in the overlap area a cutting gap 11a. The overlap can 25 to 55 degrees. 35 to 45 degrees of angle are preferred used. The blades 5,6,7 run in planes radially to the shaft 3. While the Blades 5,6,7 at their upper end edges 11b, preferably in the blade plane 11c run out, the lower end edges 12b are bent down. The cranking on the lower end edge 12b of the lowermost blade 7 is more pronounced than that the other blades 5,6. The crimps of the end edges 12b have a positive one Influence on the insertion effect of the ground anchor. The slopes of the blades 5,6,7 are adapted to each other. The outer diameter of the blades 5,6,7 decreases from support part 8 to shaft tip 10 downwards evenly. The top blade 5 has a distance from the support part 8, which can be less than the mutual Blade spacing 5,6,7.

The handling device 9 has a swash head 13 which is fixed, for example, by welding it onto the plate 8. This wobble head 13 has a four or six-sided design for attaching a turning tool, not shown. With the help of such a tool, the ground anchor can be screwed into the ground. The swash head 13 has a spherical shell-shaped depression 13a. In this recess 13a, a spherical shell 14a is inserted, to which, for example, a tube 14 can be welded. The spherical shell 14a with the tube 14 can be set to a desired swivel position within limits. In order to be pivotable, the spherical shell 14a is provided with an opening 14b on the bottom. A clamping shell 15 is inserted into the spherical shell 14a. By means of an adjusting screw 17 screwed through the clamping shell 15 and the spherical shell 14a into a threaded bore 13b of the wobble head 13, the spherical shell 14a is firmly connected to the clamping shell 15 in the desired position. The opening 14b in the spherical shell 14a must be large enough for this. For example, a fence tube 18 can be attached to the tube 14. Fixing screws 19 can connect the tubes 14 and 18.
Provided in the wobble head 13 is a grub screw 20 which, after the spherical shell 14a has been aligned, is screwed in with the tube 14 and thereby presses against the spherical shell 14a; it digs into it and thus fixes it in the intended swivel position.

At the lower end 21 of the shaft 3 there is a special shaft tip 22 provided, which facilitates screwing the ground anchor into the ground. The Shaft tip 22 is designed in the manner of the shaft of a wood screw. The core 23 the shaft tip 22 is preferably welded to the end 21 of the shaft 3. Of course, other suitable fastenings are also conceivable and possible. The core 23 tapers from the attachment point 24 to its free end 25 an anchor tip 26 to. A continuous winding around the core 23 Schaubengangwindung 27.

The pitch angle of the screw turn 27 in the region of the core 23 of the Shaft tip 22 is greater than the pitch angle of the spaced Blades 5,6,7. The shaft tip 22 thus ensures an improved retraction effect.

The helical thread turn 27 has in the region of the shaft tip 22 a cross-sectional profile which tapers outwards in a wedge shape from the core 23.
Apart from the outlet area 28 at the free end 25 of the shaft tip 22, the height of the screw thread turn 27 is preferably substantially constant.

It is important that the shaft tip 22 is exactly centered on the shaft 3. A precisely centric alignment avoids irritation when screwing in and is of great importance for straight screwing.

It is advantageous if the peripheral edges of the blades are clearly circular. The for The force required to screw in is small. The ground anchor is made of steel and preferably hot-dip galvanized. Other materials, such as stainless steel, are also included large ground anchors for pipe supports or foundations of buildings or Suitable for other types of buildings. For light fixings, like tent cords, too Plastic can be used.
