Claims (5)

  1. Apparatus (10) for transferring small articles (1) in order from a supply device (11) into a package (2) having compartments (3) for the articles (1), with at least one transfer wheel (21 to 24) which can rotate about a horizontal axis and which, at uniform angle spacings about its circumference, has compartments (25) for the articles (1), the at least one transfer wheel (21 to 24) removing the articles (1) one by one from the supply device (11) as it rotates and, upon further rotation, depositing them into the compartments (3) of the package (2), characterized in that the at least one transfer wheel (21 to 24) and the package (2) are moved continuously, and in that the at least one transfer wheel (21 to 24) is arranged at an angle (α) with respect to the direction of conveying (31) of the package (2), the circumferential speed (v) of the at least one transfer wheel (21 to 24) and the speed of conveying of the package (2) being adapted to one another in such a way that, at the location of transfer of the articles (1) from the at least one transfer wheel (21 to 24) into the package (2), the speed component (vt) of the at least one transfer wheel (21 to 24) in the direction of conveying (31) of the package (2) corresponds approximately to the speed of conveying of the package (2).
  2. Apparatus according to Claim 1, characterized in that several transfer wheels (21 to 24) are arranged directly alongside one another and form a drum-shaped transfer device (20), the axes of rotation of the transfer wheels (21 to 24) each of the same diameter being offset in relation to one another, and the offset of the axes of rotation in relation to one another being chosen in such a way that the offset, in conjunction with the angle (α) of the axes of rotation of the transfer wheels (21 to 24) with respect to the direction of conveying (31), is adapted to the spacings of the compartments (3) arranged behind one another in the direction of conveying (31) of the package (2) .
  3. Apparatus according to Claim 2, characterized in that the transfer wheels (21 to 24) are driven by means of a common drive mechanism (26).
  4. Apparatus according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that, on the side facing towards the at least one transfer wheel (21 to 24), the supply device (11) has a grouping element (16) for separately removing the articles held in a mass storage reservoir (12).
  5. Apparatus according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the packages (2) are conveyed by means of a conveyor device (30) which has carriers (32) for the packages (2).
