Description

TRANSPORTABLE CASH BOOTH WITH CAGE SRTUCTURE FOR EVENTS AND PROVIDED WITH A FOLDABLE INFORMATION OR PROMOTION BOARD
Transportable cashier module designed as a cashier-container caged construction in use for public events, equipped with a foldable billboard
The invention relates to a transportable, public event - cashier module for performing cashier handlings, which module is integrated in a solid fencing system for use in regulating pedestrian traffic as well as for securing of entrances/exits of an event. Having it's topside provided with a foldable board system this transportable cashier module is also stackable.
Known means for use for public events include loose units for performing cashier handlings, such as wooden field cabins on one hand, and various fencing systems for regulating the pedestrians' traffic at the place of- or vicinity of the event itself, on the other hand. During operation of the said means risks are involved of having the wooden field cabins and/or the fencing being not capable of withstandering pressure exerted by pedestrians, by which an uncontrollable number of visitors will be able to enter or even dangerous situations may occur.
The present invention cancels the said risks out by using a public event cashier module designed as a robust and shock-proof metal cashier container cage construction, which in conjunction with a usual fencing system can be integrated in a new single solid system. This new system is robust and safe by which the safety/security of cashier operators and clients during the sales of tickets and also at the site, will be guaranteed.
According to the invention, the cage construction, , consists of a number of mutually equally spaced vertical profiled standers, which that on both top- and bottom side are mutually interconnected by means of horizontal connecting profiles, thus providing a supporting frame for a floor, ceiling or roof surface respectively. Other spaces between standers and connectors of the cage construction are provided with closed wall surfaces in one, of which an entrance door on the front side of the cashier module is placed, and in one of which the front wall surface is being provided with at least one cashier window frame.
Furthermore, the cashier module is internally equipped with all facilities for cashier operators, such as, among others, electric connection points for lighting, heating and ventilation and payment apparatus, office chair(s), telephone, storage room and the like.
According to the invention, the cashier module is provided with receiving connection means and for direct coupling of the cashier module to the parts of a fencing construction by which a single robust and solid system will be obtained. These connecting means, which are located at least on one side of the cashier module, consist of a vertical tube profile forming a part of the cage construction, placed in the vicinity of the vertical standerer, in such a way that they are locally mutually interconnected by means of a connector piece. A usual fencing system can simply be fastened to the said vertical tube profile, amongst other, by means of one or more usual metal clamps.
Each of the four end corners of the roof surface are provided with a support element, wherein or whereupon a bottom side of another public event cashier module may be placed for storage. This support element is provided with a welded support means on top of the vertical standerer while between both corner parts of the corner plate both end sides of a support organ are fitted, providing for a hoisting eye in each roof corner. The cashier module can therefore be moved by using a hoisting device, e.g. a hoisting crane.
Transportability of the new cashier module by means of a forklift truck can be obtained as follows. The horizontal connecting profiles, which form the floor foundation of the cage construction, are on all sides provided with identically shaped recesses having mutual distances and a height/width that correspond with usual mutual distances and dimensions of both forks of a forklift truck. Said recesses are positioned with respect to the gravity point of- and reinforced in accordance to the weight of the cashier module, all in a manner to allow a stable and safe transport (moving) by means of a forklift truck.
On the roof of a transportable cashier module a board e.g. message board or billboard is placed in the frame of a foldable hinged construction. The board has rectangular dimensions whereby the short sides thereof are inserted and enclosed in a U-shaped cylindrical profile. The billboard construction consists of two equally spaced L-shaped profiles installed in a horizontal plane, and a rectangular frame part of which the bottom side is in a vertical position with respect to the surface at an end of a L-shaped profile, can be fixed. The topside thereof is hingedly connected to a frame support, of which the bottom side is connected by a pin or similar coupling means.
The L-shaped profile is provided with a locking means in order to receive the pin in a desired, e.g. vertical position of the frame part. The height in its folded-down position is less than the height of the support means or hoisting eye on the roof by which the stacking up of another cashier module is made possible.
This innovation is further described and illustrated by one preferred embodiment thereof, with reference to the following figures:
Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of the transportable cashier module;
Fig. 2 shows a detail of the side view of the same cashier module 1 ;
Fig. 3 shows a view of cashier module 1 and a fencing segment 13 of a fencing system being interconnected; Fig. 4 shows a detail of the perspective view of the interconnection between cashier module 1 and fencing segment 13; Fig. 5 shows a perspective view of the support element 15;
Fig. 6 shows a perspective view of the two cashier modules 1 and 1' stacked on top of each other; Fig. 7 shows a perspective view of the foldable message board system 8 standering upright; Fig. 8 shows a perspective view of the same foldable message system 8 in the folded-down position.
In various figures the reference numbers are pointing to the same parts. Figure 1 shows a perspective view of the transportable cashier module whereby the metal cage construction consists of standers 2 and horizontal connecting profiles 3, together forming a support frame for the floor- 4, ceiling- of roof 5 surface respectively, whereby the other spaces between stander 2 and horizontal connecting profiles 3 are provided with closed wall surfaces 6, of which the visible front wall surface is equipped with a convenient cashier window frame, while the topside of the cashier module is provided with a foldable message board system 8 and support elements 15 wherein/whereupon a bottom side of another public event cashier module (not shown) may be placed for storage and whereby the horizontal connecting profiles 3 on the floor side of the cashier module 1 are provided with recesses 10 for use when transporting (moving) it by a forklift truck.
