Claims (11)

  1. Apparatus for the production of condensed yarn, with at least one drawframe for the drafting of a fibre sliver (1), with at least one suction device (4) for condensing the fibre sliver (1) by means of a suction-air flow in a fibre-bundling zone (F), with at least one twisting device and with a device (10) for detecting the suction-air flow, characterized in that the device (10) for detecting the suction-air flow is designed as a flap (12) which is pivotable about an axis of rotation (15) and projects into the suction-air flow and which changes its position in an evaluatable way in the event of an operating fault of the suction-air flow.
  2. Apparatus according to Claim 1, in which the device (10) for detecting the suction-air flow is connected to an evaluation unit (20), characterized in that, in the event of an operating fault of the suction-air flow, the changed position of the flap (12) can be detected by means of a tracer connected to the evaluation unit (20).
  3. Apparatus according to Claim 1 or 2, in which the suction device (4) has a suction shoe (7) which is arranged above the fibre-bundling zone and around which is looped at least partially a perforated apron (16) guided around an upper roller (8) of a pair of delivery rollers, characterized in that the flap (12) is arranged below the fibre-bundling zone (F) in the region of the suction shoe (7).
  4. Apparatus according to Claim 3, characterized in that the axis of rotation (15) lies transversely to, obliquely to or in the direction of run of the fibre sliver (1).
  5. Apparatus according to Claim 1, characterized in that the flap (12) is provided with a signal surface identifying its position.
  6. Apparatus according to Claim 2, characterized in that the flap (12) can come into operative connection with a tracer which opens or closes the signal circuit (18) as a function of the flap position.
  7. Apparatus according to Claims 2 and 6, characterized in that, in the event of an operating fault of the suction-air flow, the flap (12) pivoted away from the region of the fibre-bundling zone (F) is released from a stop (23), and in that a stop (22) electrically connectable to the axis of rotation (15) by means of the flap (12) and designed as a tracer is part of the signal circuit (18).
  8. Apparatus according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that the flap (12) is provided with a counterweight (24).
  9. Apparatus according to Claim 8, characterized in that the counterweight (24) can be varied in order to adapt the flap (12) to the size of the suction-air stream.
  10. Apparatus according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized by a further stop (23) limiting the flap pivoting in the region of the fibre-bundling zone (F).
  11. Apparatus according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that the flap (12) is designed with a square, rectangular, round, oval or any desired shape.
