Definitions
- the invention relates to a trench drilling wheel in the soil, as well as an excavating cutter comprising at least two of these wheels.
- An excavator wheel includes a soul-shaped frame central on which, on both sides of the soul, are mounted drums rotating teeth on their periphery to attack the ground. Blade central station also allows the transfer of hydraulic energy, for motor drive included in the wheel.
- a strawberry is constituted preferably two toothed wheels rotating in the opposite direction. In operation, the mill drills the soil in a drilling fluid, rubble formed being pumped through a strainer.
- an undivided salient is formed between the drums, under the part of the central soul located facing the ground. This protruding terrain prevents wheel progression, in the ground particularly hard or viscous.
- a first type of solution illustrated by the document EP-0 258 122, provides a special configuration of the portion of the soul located facing the ground. However, this technique does not make it possible to attack hard floors and requires frequent replacement of worn parts.
- the invention aims to solve the aforementioned drawbacks, by proposing a drilling wheel and an excavator cutter for digging trenches in the ground which is both reliable and robust, which can dig trenches in any type of soil, and allows to achieve higher yields. To do this, the invention provides to overcome the mechanical actuation of the pivoting teeth using a hydraulic fluid energy transfer.
- a first subject of the invention relates to a milling tool for digging trenches in the soil including a soul having a symmetry with respect to its median plane, with a "first" portion adapted to be mounted on an excavator mill frame and a “second" portion intended to face the ground, the soul comprising, two sides symmetrically with respect to said median plane, two hubs coaxial whose common axis is oriented substantially perpendicularly center plane and two milling wheels mounted on the hubs in rotation about the axis, each milling wheel being provided with its periphery of teeth arranged radially to dig the ground, the teeth the closest to the soul being movable between a withdrawal position, in which they are kept spaced from the median plane at the level of the first portion, and a cutting position in which they are substantially in the extension of the second portion, at least two movable teeth, diametrically opposite, are pivotally mounted between said positions under the action of control means comprising a hydraulic power transmission system with pivoting teeth, so that the tooth maintained
- the subject of the invention is also an excavating cutter for dig trenches in the ground, including an even number of drilling presented above, the wheels being grouped by two and mounted in opposite rotation in normal operation.
- FIG. 1 a wheel 1 for digging sliced into the soil by milling. This wheel is intended to equip a machine (not shown) such as a two-wheeled excavator cutter mounted in reverse rotation.
- a machine not shown
- a two-wheeled excavator cutter mounted in reverse rotation.
- the wheel 1 is shown in working position in a trench 2 in progress.
- the wheel comprises a frame 3 attached to the machine, a core 4 having a central opening and a symmetrical structure plane with respect to a median plane P extending perpendicular to the bottom 2a of the trench, as well as two coaxial hubs 5 of substantially X axis perpendicular to the core 4 and formed on both sides thereof.
- the core 4 defines a direction of extraction E according to which the wheel is introduced into the ground to dig trench 2.
- the terms “high”, “Low”, “higher”, “lower” are defined relative to this direction.
- the core comprises a high portion 4a turned towards the frame 3, as well as a low end portion 4b, turned towards the bottom 2a of the trench 2.
- the wheel 1 also comprises two drums 6 carried by the hubs 5 and driven by a motor (not shown) included in the central opening of the soul.
- the drums 6 extend on both sides of the core 4 and are rotated about a common axis substantially confused with the X axis of the hubs 5.
- Each drum 6 is provided on its outer surface 7e, of 8 teeth to dig the ground.
- the teeth extend radially, those at the most near the soul being referenced 9.
- the teeth 8, 9 are distributed, for example in staggered rows or in propeller, to cover substantially the entire surface 7 of the drum 6 and to work the ground evenly.
- the teeth 9 the most close to the core 4 are movable relative to the drum 6.
- the teeth 9 are movable between a high position of withdrawal, in which they are spaced from the median plane P of the core 4, and a lower cutting position, in which they are located at the right of the soul end 4b.
- two teeth pivoting 9 are provided in the nonlimiting embodiment. These teeth are mounted around a pivot 10, axis A substantially parallel to the tangent to the drum surface 6 at the point of contact in the direction radial.
- the pivot 10 is mounted in a support 10a secured to the drum.
- each tooth 9 can rotate between a retracted position in which it is spaced from the core 4 at the level of the upper portion 4a of the core facing the frame 3, and a cutting position in which it is at the right of its end portion 4b.
- the control means comprise pistons 12 slidably mounted in a radial direction in the embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 4, and connected by a hydraulic pipe 15, illustrated in FIG. FIG. 2.
- a hydraulic accumulator 11 with nonreturn valve 11a is mounted on the hydraulic circuit to compensate for fluid losses
- each piston slides along O-rings 12a disposed in a bore passing through a housing 13 fitted into the wall 14 of the drum 6.
- the piston 12 slides in the bore 13 of one under the action of the pressure transmitted by the fluid (an oil in the illustrated example) circulating in the hydraulic pipe 15 passing through the bottom of the bore through an orifice 13a, disposed under the piston.
- the pipe 15 is formed between the hub 5 and the internal surface 7i of the drum 6, and the piston slides between a position protruding and a retracted position.
- the tooth 9 is formed of a support 18 and a cutting element 9a, the support having a side face 17, substantially facing the soul, and a rear face 19, facing the drum.
- the retraction of the tooth 6 in the high position causes, by transmission of pressure through line 15, the radial ejection of the piston 12 in projecting position (FIG. 4) relative to the external surface 7e of the 6.
- the ejection of the piston 12 rotates the tooth 9 to its position of cut at the lower end 4b of the core 4.
- the piston 12 bears against the rear face 19 of the support, by exerting on the support 18 a force F. This force creates a driving torque around the pivot 10, rotating the tooth 9 under the core 4.
- the pistons 12 are slidably mounted in an axial direction, that is to say in a bore made in a support 20.
- This support is secured to the outer face of the drum 6 parallel to the common axis X.
- the support 18 presents an advance 21 forming a housing on which rests the 12.
- the tooth 9 rotates around the pivot 10 between its position of withdrawal (figure 5) by the thrust exerted in support against the ramp 16, and its cutting position (FIG. 6) by the thrust exerted by the fluid hydraulic system, under conditions similar to those mentioned above in reference to Figures 4 and 5.
- the piston 12 advantageously has a head at least partially spherical 12b facing the tooth 9, to adapt to the inclination of the support of the tooth 9 and limit the contact surface.
- the support and cutting element of teeth can only form a monobloc.
- gaskets may be provided between the rear face of the tooth and the outer surface of the drum.
- the pistons can be mounted inclined by relative to the axis of the hubs according to angles of inclination which can also suitable, the pivoting teeth can be released by means other than a ramp, for example pads, ribs or any outgrowth adapted.
- any form of ramp other than Vé could agree if adapted.
