Description
Procédé d'accès, par réseau téléphonique, depuis l'étranger, à un portail de services Method for accessing, by telephone network, from abroad, a service portal
Le domaine de l'invention est celui de l'accès, à partir d'un terminal de traitement de données, et plus particulièrement d'un terminal mobile d'un réseau de radiotéléphonie cellulaire, à un service à filtrage d'abonnés, et plus particulièrement aux services d'un portail d'un réseau informatique, plus particulièrement de l' INTERNET, par exemple un portai WAP.The field of the invention is that of access, from a data processing terminal, and more particularly from a mobile terminal of a cellular radiotelephony network, to a service for filtering subscribers, and more particularly to the services of a portal of a computer network, more particularly of the INTERNET, for example a WAP portai.
With a mobile phone, you must also have a subscription from one of the cellular telephone network operators. There are currently three in France.
The filtering carried out by a WAP portal can be carried out by recognizing the identification of the caller using a CLIP and, above all, through a national telephone operator.
When a subscriber of a telephone operator leaves his national territory, he can still access the network of his national operator but after a phase of peregrination (roaming) to reach his national operator through a foreign telephone operator, having a roaring agreement with its national operator.
In some foreign countries, there are telephone operators who do not transmit the CLIP beyond their borders.
This therefore results in a problem of accessibility of national WAP portals.
The invention of the present application aims to offer a solution to this problem.
To this end, it relates to a method for accessing a service portal, method so that a subscriber, of a telephone network and of a service portal of a first country, can access the portal from a second country, portal access by filtering subscriber data and access to the telephone network of the first country from the second country by peregrination, a process in which a prior automatic search is carried out for a telephone network of the second country arranged to transmit abroad the subscriber data to be filtered.
In the preferred implementation of the method of the invention, the prior automatic search is carried out by interrogation and response from an operator of the telephone network of the first country of the subscriber.
In this case, the subscriber can interrogate the network operator of the first country by sending a short message or a data message via any telephone network in the second country.
In this case, too, a telephone network operator in the first country of the subscriber can query a database before sending the response, by short message or data message.
Advantageously, the subscriber can change the telephone network of the second country after wandering.
Preferably again, access to the service portal of the first country is carried out by filtering caller identification data.
L'invention sera mieux comprise à l'aide de la description suivante de la mise en œuvre préférée du procédé, en référence au dessin annexé, sur lequelThe invention will be better understood with the aid of the following description of the preferred implementation of the method, with reference to the appended drawing, in which
- la figure 1 représente schématiquement l'organisation des liaisons structurelles supportant le procédé et - la figure 2 est un histogramme de l'établissement des liaisons fonctionnelles du procédé.- Figure 1 schematically shows the organization of the structural links supporting the process and - Figure 2 is a histogram of the establishment of the functional links of the process.
Or a subscriber 1 of a first telephone network 2, in the country of origin PI, of the subscriber. The telephone network 2 is here a cellular radio network, with an operator 3. The subscriber 1 of the network 2 is also subscribed to a service portal 4 which he can access via the network 2. In this case, the portal 4 is a WAP portal. Access to portal 4 is done by filtering data specific to its subscribers, in this case, by recognizing the telephone identification of callers using a CLIP provided by network 2. The operator 3 of network 2a at his disposal a database 5, accessible directly or, as in the example considered, via its network 2, a base which contains a list of foreign operators with their characteristics and, in particular here, their ability to provide a CLIP to the beyond their borders.
When he connects for the first time in country P2, his mobile phone is camping on any first network, RI, P2 6. Network 6 indicates to subscriber 1's phone that it is camping on this network and, of course, that it is in country P2 (step A in Figure 2).
As the P2 network 6 does not meet this requirement, the operator 3 sends the subscriber 1, always through the P2 network 6, either by short message or by data message, the information of the networks of country P2 meeting the requirement (step D).
It only remains for subscriber 1 to roam to decamp from the P2 network 6, choose and camp on another P2 network, for example network 7 (step E), through which, as well as through the PI network 2, he will be able to access portal 4 (step F).
The roaming operation of subscriber 1 can be performed automatically or manually using the network selection menu on their mobile phone. In the selection of the network, the cost of communications may possibly intervene, as can the quality of the radio links.
