Description
The invention relates to an arrangement for holding accessories on a patient support surface of a surgical or examination table according del first part of claim 1.
Conventional operating tables have slide rails along the longitudinal edges of the respective operating table surface or patient support surface, to which various accessories can be attached by means of tensioning clamps. Such accessories are, for example, supports for the arm support, an anesthesia sheet for holding equipment for anesthesia, body straps, etc.
Special medical examinations and surgical procedures require the use of X-ray equipment and thus require patient storage areas that must be able to be transilluminated without artifacts. Metal slide rails of the aforementioned type disturb the transmittance of these bearing surfaces. For this reason, storage areas have been developed that consist entirely of X-ray permeable material, for example carbon fiber reinforced plastic. But this has the problem that the accessories can not be fixed in the usual way on the patient support surface itself but are kept, for example, on their own stands. This in turn hinders access to the patient storage area.

The invention has for its object to provide an arrangement for mounting accessories of the type mentioned, which allows the attachment of accessories on patient support surfaces, which consist of radiolucent material, and distributed by the local load of the bearing surface profile over larger areas and reduced ,
This object is achieved by a attachable to the profile of the patient support surface accessory adapter according to claim 1.
The solution according to the invention has the advantage that the Zubehöradapter can be moved to the patient support surface or removed if necessary completely from her, in order not to hinder the irradiation of the patient support surface. On the other hand, the accessories can be attached as before directly to the patient support surface, so that the free access to the patient support surface is ensured.
Preferably, locking means are provided on the accessory adapter to secure it to a patient support surface in its desired position and to prevent accidental dislocation of the accessory relative to the patient. Conveniently, the locking means are arranged on at least one of the claws, where they can be easily operated. In order to be able to fix the accessory adapter at any point of the patient support surface, the locking means expediently comprise a clamping device which engages in a claw opening and enables a force-locking fixing of the accessory adapter. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the clamping device has a clamping rail intended to rest on an edge strip of the patient support surface, which is movably mounted in the mouth opening and can be pressed against the edge strip of the patient support surface by a tensioning element. The clamping rail forms a relatively large-area clamping element, through which the specific surface pressure of the patient support surface is reduced by the clamping device and thus damage to the patient support surface is avoided by the clamping device.
Further features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following description, which explains in conjunction with the accompanying drawings using an exemplary embodiment.

FIG. 3 ,
The attachment of the
In
It can be seen that in the accessory adapter according to the invention about the longitudinal axis of the slide acting moments due to heavy accessories are supported by the bridge-shaped connection of the two jaws of Zubehöradapters on the opposite side of the adapter. This distributes and reduces the local load on the bearing surface profile over larger surface areas. The positive connection of the accessory with the bearing surface prevents unintentional release of the accessories, which can be the danger to the patient by falling down accessories to avoid.
