Definitions
- the invention relates to a curtain for non-rectangular surfaces, in particular with four or five corners, with an upper rail, a middle intermediate rail and a lower fixed rail between which a curtain is arranged, as well as with a stop device through which the intermediate rail in its upper position held parallel to the lower rail.
- Such a curtain is in EP 0 639 688 B1 disclosed. Specifically, in this document, a so-called pleated curtain is shown, with which the invention is primarily concerned.
- Such curtains are used to cover Vietnamesewinkwinkliger, usually pentagonal windows, as they occur in the area of gables.
- a first curtain is stretched with a slope corresponding to the slope of the roof.
- a second, usually rectangular blind is arranged, which is attached either directly to the lower fixed rail or a separate lower movable rail. In the latter case, the second curtain can also be opened "upwards".
- the intermediate rail When the intermediate rail is in its upper position, it pushes with its one end into a corner formed by the oblique edge and a subsequent vertical edge of the window surface. Often a further fixed rail is arranged in the oblique edge, accommodated in the example clamping means for Behangschnüre. The intermediate rail then abuts with its one end against the underside of this rail. With its other end, the intermediate rail is free, so that they could be driven upwards at this end and at an angle can make. This is visually undesirable and leads to malfunction.
- a stopper is provided, which is clamped on one of the tension cords of the curtain.
- the function of the Plisseevorhanges is limited because the upper, first curtain can not be pushed together completely and the upper, first curtain can not be moved together with the second lower curtain completely down to the lower fixed rail.
- the stopper is visible, which is also perceived as disturbing.
- the invention is based on the problem, a curtain of the type mentioned in such a way that a tilting of the intermediate rail is prevented in a simple manner without limiting the function of the curtain.
- the curtain according to the invention is characterized in that the stop means is a fixed length stop cord, which is guided at least from the intermediate rail to the lower rail, wherein the stop cord is associated with a length compensation device , by the between different distances depending on the position of the intermediate rail the intermediate rail and the lower fixed rail, and the stop line from an end of the intermediate rail facing away from an oblique edge of the non-rectangular surface via a corresponding end of the lower fixed rail and the other end of the lower fixed rail to the lower corner point of the oblique edge and from there to the end of the intermediate rail, which faces the lower corner of the oblique edge is guided.
- the stop means is a fixed length stop cord, which is guided at least from the intermediate rail to the lower rail, wherein the stop cord is associated with a length compensation device , by the between different distances depending on the position of the intermediate rail the intermediate rail and the lower fixed rail, and the stop line from an end of the intermediate rail facing away from an oblique edge of the non-rectangular surface via
- Such a stop cord can be easily mounted and is not visually disturbing. A functional impairment of the curtain is not given, since the stop cord does not interfere with the opening of the upper first curtain and the upper first curtain can be pushed together with the lower second curtain completely down.
- the stop cord is attached at one end to the intermediate rail and at its other end to the lower fixed rail. With partially or completely pushed down intermediate rail, the stop cord would then hang limp down. For this reason, a length compensation device is provided according to a development of the invention, are compensated by the different distances of the intermediate rail to the lower fixed rail.
- the in Fig. 1 and 2 Pleated blind 10 shown is intended for window areas in the gable area, for example, for studio windows.
- the curtain 10 has an upper fixed rail 11 and a lower fixed rail 12.
- a further fixed rail 13 may be arranged.
- the fixed rails 11, 12, 13 serve primarily for holding tensioning cords and for receiving tensioning means for the tensioning cords. These are not essential in the context of the present invention and therefore omitted for the sake of clarity.
- the curtain 10 has an upper movable rail 14, a movable intermediate rail 15 and a lower movable rail 16. Between the upper movable rail 14 and the intermediate rail 15, a first, upper curtain 17 and between the intermediate rail 15 and lower movable rail 16, a second, lower curtain 18 is stretched.
- the lower movable rail 16 is only optional.
- the lower curtain 18 may also be attached directly to the lower fixed rail 12.
- the lateral edges of the hangings 17 and 18 are tensioned by a tension cord, in the present case by a circumferential rubber cord 19.
- the intermediate rail 15 is, as in Fig. 1 shown, so far up that you one (in Fig. 1 and 2 left) end 20 lies in a corner formed by the oblique edge and a subsequent vertical edge of the window area. This end 20 of the intermediate rail 15 rests against the lower end 21 of the inclined fixed rail 13.
- the opposite (in Fig. 1 and 2 right) end 22 is as in Fig. 1 recognizable, not supported upwards, so that this End 22 could continue to move up and the intermediate rail 15 can be inclined.
- a stop cord 23 (in Fig. 1 and 2 shown with a dashed line).
- the stop ruler 23 has a fixed length, so has a negligible stretchability in relation to its length.
- the stop cord 23 is fastened with its one end to an attachment point 24 on the intermediate rail 15.
- the attachment point 24 is arranged in the region of the end 22. From here, the stop cord 23 is first guided approximately vertically down to the lower fixed rail 12, wherein it is threaded through the lower movable rail 16. Specifically, the stop cord becomes as shown in FIG Fig. 1 and 2 right end 25 of the lower fixed rail 12 out.
- stop cord 23 For the function of the stop cord 23, it would be sufficient if it were attached to the lower fixed rail 12 at a fixed attachment point in the region of the (right) end 25. The stop cord 23 would then but at partial ( Fig. 2 ) or completely pushed down intermediate rail 15 hang limp. This variant is therefore not preferred for optical reasons. Rather, a length compensation for the stop cord 23 is provided with partially or completely pushed down intermediate rail 15. This is concretely realized in that the stop cord 23 is guided inside the lower fixed rail 12 to the opposite (left) end 26 of the lower fixed rail 12. From there, the stop cord 23 continues approximately vertically upwards through the lower movable rail 16 and the intermediate rail 15 to the lower end 21 of the oblique fixed rail 13.
- the stop cord 23 is then guided back to the intermediate rail 15 where it is at a fixed attachment point 27 is attached.
- the stop cord 23 is thus deflected in the region of the oblique fixed rail 13.
- the stop cord 23 initially extends a little further obliquely upwards in the oblique fixed rail 13 before being guided back to the intermediate rail 15.
- the stop cord 23 can thus be threaded through the upper curtain 17 so that it runs immediately adjacent to one of the (not shown) tension cords for the curtain 17 and thus visually not noticeable.
- a spring could alternatively also be provided in one of the rails 11. 16, preferably in the lower fixed rail 12, which can be stretched up to a stop.
- the curtain 10 can of course also be constructed mirror-symmetrical, with the page information reversed.

Description
The invention relates to a curtain for non-rectangular surfaces, in particular with four or five corners, with an upper rail, a middle intermediate rail and a lower fixed rail between which a curtain is arranged, as well as with a stop device through which the intermediate rail in its upper position held parallel to the lower rail.
On this basis, the invention is based on the problem, a curtain of the type mentioned in such a way that a tilting of the intermediate rail is prevented in a simple manner without limiting the function of the curtain.
To solve this problem, the curtain according to the invention is characterized in that the stop means is a fixed length stop cord, which is guided at least from the intermediate rail to the lower rail, wherein the stop cord is associated with a length compensation device , by the between different distances depending on the position of the intermediate rail the intermediate rail and the lower fixed rail, and the stop line from an end of the intermediate rail facing away from an oblique edge of the non-rectangular surface via a corresponding end of the lower fixed rail and the other end of the lower fixed rail to the lower corner point of the oblique edge and from there to the end of the intermediate rail, which faces the lower corner of the oblique edge is guided.
Such a stop cord can be easily mounted and is not visually disturbing. A functional impairment of the curtain is not given, since the stop cord does not interfere with the opening of the upper first curtain and the upper first curtain can be pushed together with the lower second curtain completely down.
In the simplest case, the stop cord is attached at one end to the intermediate rail and at its other end to the lower fixed rail. With partially or completely pushed down intermediate rail, the stop cord would then hang limp down. For this reason, a length compensation device is provided according to a development of the invention, are compensated by the different distances of the intermediate rail to the lower fixed rail.
Further features of the invention relate to structural details of the length compensation device.
