Abstract
Die Schaltungsanordnung dient der Spannungsversorgung der Zeilen- und Spaltentreiber einer Flüssigkristallanzeigevorrichtung. Sie beinhaltet einen Spannungsteiler (1) mit einer Vielzahl von in Serie geschalteten Widerständen (R1-R5) und mit zwischen den Widerständen (R1-R5) angeordneten Spannungsabgriffen (22-25) zum Abgreifen unterschiedlicher Spannungspegel (V2-V5). Ein einziger (25) der Spannungsabgriffe (22-25) ist mit Mitteln (3) zur Feineinstellung des dort abgegriffenen Spannungspegels (V5) ausgestattet. Durch einmalige individuelle Kalibrierung eines jeden Exemplars der Schaltungsanordnung kann der eine Spannungspegel (V5) derart fein eingestellt wcrden, dass ein durch asymmetrische Spannungspegel verursachtes Übersprechen, d. h. gegenseitige Wechselwirkung von Bildpunktinhalten, vermindert wird. Die Vorteile der Schaltungsanordnung kommen besonders zu Geltung, wenn sie in Flüssigkristallanzeigevorrichtungen mit Graustufenanzeige oder Farbanzeige eingesetzt wird. The circuit arrangement serves to supply power to the row and column drivers of a liquid crystal display device. It includes a voltage divider (1) having a plurality of series connected resistors (R1-R5) and voltage taps (22-25) disposed between the resistors (R1-R5) for tapping different voltage levels (V2-V5). A single (25) of the voltage taps (22-25) is equipped with means (3) for finely adjusting the voltage level (V5) tapped there. By once individually calibrating each copy of the circuitry, the one voltage level (V5) may be adjusted to be fine to reduce crosstalk caused by asymmetric voltage levels, ie, mutual interaction of pixel contents. The advantages of the circuit arrangement are particularly useful when used in grayscale display or color display liquid crystal display devices.
