Definitions
- the invention relates to a switch unit with a Switch base and with on the switch base arranged switching elements, which largely by means of Slidably arranged parallel to the switch base Sliding element are switchable.
- Such switch units can in particular for arrangement in the area of free Ends of shift levers from steering column switches use Find.
- Such switch units should be compact and also can be operated safely. As switching elements are supposed to especially powerful microswitches can be used his.
- the present invention is therefore based on the object based on providing a switch unit for one is very compact and the other one is the use of powerful, relatively high-build microswitches allowed.
- the switch unit should be as simple as possible and easy to assemble.
- This task is performed by a switch unit at the beginning described type according to the invention solved in that the Switching elements largely perpendicular to the switch base are actuated and that between the sliding element and the switching elements with the sliding element and Switch elements interacting rocker arm-like Switch piece is arranged.
- the sliding element or the Switching elements are directly or indirectly involved the switching piece together.
- the contact piece forms the core a switching mechanism, one over the sliding element movement initiated parallel to the switch base a movement perpendicular to the switch base transferred. The contact piece therefore directs the parallel to Actuator forces acting in switch base switching forces acting perpendicular to the switch base.
- the switch unit according to the invention has the Advantage that despite the provision of perpendicular to Switch base actuatable switching elements relative builds flat. Powerful microswitches Find use that build relatively high. By provision the rocker arm-like switching piece becomes a switching mechanism provided that as such builds very flat and one reliable switching of the switching elements causes.
- the sliding element or the switching piece at least one probe and the contact piece or that Sliding element interacting with the probe Switching contour includes, the interaction of Probe and switching contour when moving the Sliding element moving or pivoting the Switch piece and thus an actuation of the switching elements causes.
- the provision of tactile means and switching contour has the advantage that when moving the sliding element in the intended switching positions the corresponding Switching element or the corresponding switching elements be operated in a targeted and reliable manner.
- two switching elements are provided the probe and the switching contour when moving the Sliding element in the one switching position, for example a switching element, in the next switching position other switching element and can for example in one third switching position actuated both switching elements become.
- a further embodiment of the Invention characterized in that the switching piece when moving of the sliding element around that on the corresponding one Switching element lying or coming to rest Switching section, and not around a fixed pivot point, is arranged pivotably.
- the switching piece when moving the sliding element around that on the corresponding one Switching element lying or coming to rest Switching section, and not around a fixed pivot point is arranged pivotably.
- the section for example centered around a fixed pivot point between two switching elements rotatably mounted, so would Swiveling the contact piece, so that a switching section one switching element actuated, the other switching section after rotated above. Construction space would have to be kept free for this. Because the switching piece when moving the sliding element around the lying on the corresponding switching element or to The coming switching section is pivotable no space is required above the contact to provide.
- the switch unit is building consequently relatively flat.
- the feeler can be made in one piece with the sliding element or the switching piece be formed. It is advantageous however, if the probe is a separate component the sliding element or the switching piece is arranged.
- tactile means can be designed as a stylus that is preferably mounted rotatably about its longitudinal axis. On Such a roller-like stylus has the advantage that between the probe and the switching contour instead of one relatively high sliding friction a very low rolling friction takes place. The operating forces are therefore largely regardless of the frictional forces of the individual components of the Switch unit. The shift feeling is consequently improved.
- a preferred embodiment of the invention stands out characterized in that two tactile means are provided with the switching contour interact and that the switching piece two switching elements switches.
- the two probes and the a switching contour are coordinated so that the switching piece when moving the sliding element the two switching elements the intended switching positions switches accordingly.
- the switching contour it must also be taken into account that the Contact piece advantageously not a fixed one Pivot point, but around that on the corresponding one Switching element lying or coming to rest Switching section is arranged pivotably.
- the switching contour is formed in this way is that the sliding element in given Switch positions is held.
- the switching contour sees here preferably stop or rest bays.
- the sliding element if necessary in addition to a switching contour, a latching contour with in predetermined switching positions of the sliding element provided holding or locking bulges that from a largely perpendicular to the switch base preloaded locking means are applied.
- This Training has the advantage of keeping the Sliding element in the specified switching positions regardless of the design of the tactile means and the corresponding switching contour is.
- the biased Locking means can, for example, be in a sleeve arranged coil spring, one against the locking contour has acting locking head include.
- the switch unit on the switch base arranged switch base comprises a guide section for guiding the Has sliding element. This will make a reliable and positionally accurate guidance of the Sliding element opposite the switch base, and consequently opposite those on the switch base arranged switching elements, guaranteed.
- the Switch base part a receiving section for receiving a guide section provided on the switching piece has, wherein the receiving portion, the switching piece such that movement of the contact piece possible perpendicular to the switch base and in Sliding direction of the sliding element is not possible.
- the extending transversely to the sliding direction of the sliding element, axis of rotation of the Switch piece is therefore opposite the switch base part not fixed, but perpendicular to Switch base movable. This ensures that the switching piece when moving the sliding element around lying on the corresponding switching element or for Coming switching section lying is pivotable.
- the receiving section or advantageously comprises Guide section a receiving pin.
- the The guide section or the receiving section then has largely interacting with the locating pin Elongated hole perpendicular to the switch base on. This ensures that movement of the Contact piece perpendicular to the switch base in Longitudinal direction of the elongated hole is possible and a movement in the sliding direction of the sliding element, namely transverse to Longitudinal direction of the elongated hole, advantageously not is possible.
- a preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the switch footprint from a switch board is formed.
- the switching elements in particular as Microswitches can then be formed advantageously arranged directly on the board his.
- Other electrical components can also be found on the Board be arranged.
- the switch unit can be in particular as Switch unit for a cruise control system Find motor vehicle use. Further Possible uses can e.g. Light, wiper, Multifunction display, display, etc. It sees Switch unit advantageously four one below the other, switch positions lying along a line. To the Switch positions count according to the shown Embodiment "resume”, “on”, “off keyed” and “off "Rested.
- the switch unit at least is partially surrounded by a housing, the Sliding element along a recess in the housing is slidably guided and / or stored.
- the housing covers the contact piece, the microswitch and if necessary protect the switch base. advantageously, can between the recess and the sliding element due to sealants no media in the Switch unit.
- the sliding element advantageously covers the Switch unit a recess on the shift lever.
