Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a seat element for a bicycle pants.
For upholstering the seat, it is known to provide in bicycle pants seat cushion. Such seat cushions are sewn in the area of the step of cycling pants. Sewing can cause tensions in the area of the seam, which stress the mostly thin fabric of the cycling pants. Furthermore, the mostly made of a stretch material cycling pants in the seat cushion is no longer elastic, since this is stiffened by the connection of the seat cushion with the cycling pants in this area. The seat cushion can thus not move relative to the pants. This in turn can lead to stresses in the Hösenmaterial. Such tensions can lead to tears or damage to the pants. Such cycling pants is described, for example, in EP 0 776 615.
A similar seat element is also described in WO 99/41134. This seat element is also sewn into the cycling pants or can in a in the Bike pants provided pocket can be inserted. The seat element described in WO 99/41134 thus also has the disadvantages described above. Further, the seat member described herein has an approach to protect the penis root.
The object of the invention is to provide a seat element for bicycle pants, by which the occurrence of cracks is avoided.
Die Lösung der Aufgabe erfolgt, erfindungsgemäß durch die Merkmale des Anspruchs 1.The object is achieved according to the invention by the features of claim 1.
The seat element according to the invention is separated from the cycling pants and inserted into this. The seat element has a seat cushion for upholstering a seat in the seat area. Since the seat element can be inserted into the cycling pants, there is no firm connection between the cycling pants and the, seat element. As a result, the occurrence of seam tensions, which can lead to damage to the pants avoided. Furthermore, the pants in the area of the seat element is still elastic. Also, a relative movement between the pants and seat element is possible, so that the wearing comfort is increased and damage to the pants is avoided by increased voltages.
In order to fix the position of the seat element in the cycling pants, the outside of the seat element is provided with an adhesive coating. The adhesive coating is designed in such a way that there is little support between the cycling pants and the seat element. This serves to avoid slippage of the seat element. On the other hand, the adhesive effect is not so great that a firm connection between the cycling pants and the seat element arises. The elasticity of the cycling pants in the region of the seat element is not or only very slightly influenced by the adhesive coating. Preferably the outside of the seat member therefore only partially coated with the adhesive coating. Preferably, the adhesive coating is strip-shaped.
The adhesive coating used is preferably silicone or a silicone mixture. By a suitable silicone mixture, the desired adhesion can be adjusted.
Because the seat element is designed separately from the pants and is inserted into the cycling pants, a protective element for the male genital area can furthermore be provided on the seat element. It is a cup-shaped protective element that determines the position of the penis and testes. The provision of the cup-shaped protective element solves the problem that sports pants, such as cycling pants, are frequently worn without underpants, since these are troublesome and can lead to abrasions. However, in the case of male-slimmed cyclists, the wearing of cycling pants without underpants means that the position of the penis is not fixed. This is extremely unpleasant. By providing the seat element according to the invention, the wearing comfort of the cycling pants is also increased without underpants.
Preferably, the edge of the protective element is designed such that it bears at least partially on the skin of the person carrying the seat element. In this case, the edge of the protective element preferably completely surrounds the outer genital area. This means that within the cup-shaped protective element of the male penis and the testicles are arranged and the cup-shaped protective element as completely as possible with the body. The outer genital area is thus preferably completely protected by the cup-shaped protective element, wherein the outer genital area is completely surrounded by the edge of the outer protective element, except for the connection point between the protective element and the seat cushion. This provides a pleasant and comfortable stop.
To determine the position of the seat element in the cycling pants, it is also possible, for example, small Velcro fasteners, snaps o. The like. Provide. These are preferably arranged in the middle region of the seat element or in the step of the pants. Both the seat cushion arranged substantially behind this area and the protective element can thus be moved to a sufficient extent in spite of the connection between the cycling pants and the seat element relative to the cycling pants. By such a compound, the elasticity of the cycling pants in the region of the seat element is not or only slightly impaired.
To connect the cycling pants with the seat element by means of buttons o. The like. Preferably provided in the crotch part of the cycling pants stiffening element is used. Such a stiffening element is an element, preferably made of thermoplastic material, by which the connection of the substance in this area is ensured and, in addition, a depth of insertion of the trousers is produced.
In a preferred embodiment, the seat cushion has a longitudinally extending venous protection channel. In the area of the crotch, a vein running directly beneath the surface of the skin is used to treat the male genitalia. Especially when you sit for a long time on a bicycle saddle this vein is pressed, so that circulatory disorders can occur. By providing the venous channel in this area, the blood circulation is guaranteed even when sitting on a bicycle saddle for a long time.
The provision of a venous protection channel is an independent invention that is independent of the provision of a protective element for the genital area. Likewise, this is Invention regardless of whether the seat cushion is inserted into a cycling pants or sewn into it, so that the invention also includes a sewn into a bicycle pants seat pad with venous protection channel.
