Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein vollkalibriges Geschoß mit einem zylinderförmigen Führungsbereich (5) und einer ogivenförmig ausgebildeten Geschoßspitze (7).The invention relates to a full-caliber projectile with a cylindrical guide area (5) and an ogive-shaped projectile tip (7).
Um auf einfache Weise eine bessere Stabilisierung des Geschosses (1) innerhalb eines Waffenrohres (2) und damit eine bessere Abgangsballistik und Treffergenauigkeit als bei vergleichbaren Geschossen zu erreichen, wird vorgeschlagen, auf der Geschoßspitze (7) einen in Umfangsrichtung segmentierten Führungsring (8), dessen Außendurchmesser kleiner als der Innendurchmesser eines kalibergleichen Waffenrohres (2) ist, derart zu befestigen, daß sich die Führungsring-Segmente (9) beim Auftreten einer vorgegebenen Abschlußbeschleunigung in dem entsprechenden Waffenrohr (2) vom Geschoß (1) lösen und durch den Staudruck so lange axial zum zylinderförmigen Führungsbereich (5) hin auf das Geschoß (1) aufgeschoben werden, bis die sich radial voneinander entfernenden Führungsring-Segmente (9) an der Innenwand (18) des Waffenrohres (2) und an dem Geschoß (1) abstützen.
