Abstract
Eine Kraftstoff-Pumpeinrichtung (20) wird in einem Kraftstoffsystem (10) einer Brennkraftmaschine (12) eingesetzt. Sie umfasst eine Kraftstoffpumpe (26) und einen mit dieser verbundenen elektrischen Antriebsmotor (24). Um die Kraftstoff-Pumpeinrichtung (20) noch kompakter bauen zu können, wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Kraftstoffpumpe eine Radialkolbenpumpe (26) ist und der Antriebsmotor (24) und die Kraftstoffpumpe (26) eine Einheit mit einem gemeinsamen fluiddichten Gehäuse (22) bilden. A fuel pump device (20) is used in a fuel system (10) of an internal combustion engine (12). It comprises a fuel pump (26) and an electric drive motor (24) connected thereto. In order to make the fuel pump device (20) even more compact, it is proposed that the fuel pump is a radial piston pump (26) and the drive motor (24) and the fuel pump (26) form a unit with a common fluid-tight housing (22).
