Description

The invention relates to an arrangement with tools for reworking joints of permanently elastic grout, which can be issued by the cartridge.

It is known that elastic grouts such as silicone and acrylic are filled in cartridges. The cartridges have a cylindrical shape and are closed at one end by means of a lid and a molded onto the lid threaded piece and are by means of a to the Cartridge attached applicator and in palletized sorted sold and sold.
Usually, the cartridges are still placed in commerce in several places, so that depending on the material and type of application suitable grouts are available.

Furthermore, tools for reworking joint compounds (see EP 0 711 887 B1 ) and stripping tools for permanently elastic sealants (see DE 198 26 535 A1 ), which are offered more or less expensive packaged in the trade. If the customer to buy the cartridge in conjunction with a tool, the tools must be placed in several places, so that valuable sales space for the same product is needed several times. Furthermore, not every customer is willing to buy a tool for the one-time use of a cartridge.

Anordnungen mit Kartusche und Werkzeug sind auch aus DE 100 31 611 , US 5017113 , US 3559234 oder DE 296 19 142 bekannt.Arrangements with cartridge and tool are also off DE 100 31 611 . US 5,017,113 . US 3559234 or DE 296 19 142 known.

The invention has for its object to provide for cartridges of the aforementioned type a tool that is inexpensive to manufacture and is preferably offered as a disposable tool without additional packaging in conjunction with cartridge and applicator commercially, without requiring additional space and packaging are required and so in that the cartridges can still be offered in pallet form.

This object is achieved by the training according to the characterizing part of claim 1. The tool according to the invention is made of flexible plastic and corresponds in its base substantially the projected on a plane normal to the cylinder axis base of the cartridge including the attached applicator and is by means of a circular opening in the tool, the edge is preferably made flexible, with the thread of the cartridge connectable.

Another object of the present invention is to construct an assembly with a tool of the type mentioned in the introduction such that it can be offered commercially without additional packaging in conjunction with the cartridge and applicator nozzle.

In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, an arrangement according to claim 2 is provided. This is suitable for connection to the thread of the cartridge, but can also be connected to the screwed to the cartridge applicator, and are arranged to save space for storage of the cartridge in use with the cartridge. For this purpose, the breakthrough is preferably carried out gear-shaped and matched with the inner pitch diameter on the thread and with the outer diameter of the application nozzle.

In order for a space-saving alignment of the tool in relation to the projected area of the cartridge including applicator nozzle is guaranteed in the trade and the tool does not rotate relative to the cartridge, is also thought to form a normal to the tool plane standing rib, which engages the cylindrical part the application nozzle is.

Another variant is to perform the tool with an additional substantially perpendicular to the base holding tab and to arrange the tool parallel to the longitudinal axis of the cartridge to allow other preferably elongated tool base shapes. The connection between retaining tab and tool is thinned cross-section in an advantageous embodiment. As a result, a separation of the retaining tab is given by the tool without additional aids and it is possible to first produce the tool with retaining tab in a simple planar form.

The connection of the retaining tab with the thread of the cartridge can in this case be effected by means of a loop-like formation of the tab or the circular and gear-shaped breakthrough located on the tool base.

An arrangement of this kind can also be designed by means of a holding tab in paper form on which the tool is held by means of an adhesive bond.

A further embodiment consists of integrally forming the tool, the retaining tab and the applicator nozzle by connecting the retaining tab of the tool with the retaining tab of the cartridge in the region of the thread of the cartridge and is produced in one piece by injection molding. The tool can be arranged parallel to the cartridge longitudinal axis and, alternatively, connected by means of the circular and gear-shaped recess on the base normal to the cylinder axis. Furthermore, other preferably elongated basic tool shapes are possible in the parallel arrangement.

The tool itself should have different contours and geometries along its peripheral edge to form different joint shapes and have substantially constant thickness dependent on the material to achieve sufficient rigidity while maintaining flexibility.

The execution can be done as a flat plate. In an advantageous embodiment of the tool only the edge region is flat and the connection of the edge via a shell-like shaped surface, so that excess material is removed during the processing of the joints.

The design of all edges and shapes of the tool is arbitrary within the scope of the invention underlying idea. Based on the projected base of the cartridge including attached applicator nozzle, a preferred embodiment of the basic shape of the tool consists essentially of four adjoining straight edges of different lengths, two edges forming a right angle and the resulting remaining angles are rounded with small and large circular arc and in Area of the straight sections additional circular recesses are provided in order to allow different possible joint shapes.

Furthermore, it is thought to represent the possible joint shapes on the tool by means of printed or raised or embossed shapes on the tool and the user so in a simple form to illustrate the different possibilities.

Fig. 1 shows the tool (1) with a cylindrical cartridge (2) with a lid (8) and an integrally formed on the lid (8) thread (3) and a means of retaining tab to the thread (3) of the cartridge (2) attached application nozzle (4 ). The arrangement of the tool (1) takes place on the thread (3) and is preferably normal to the longitudinal axis (5) of the cartridge (2). The total base area (6) of the tool (1), defined by the peripheral edge (7), substantially corresponds to the outlined in a plane outline (9) of the cartridge (2) and application nozzle (4).

On the base (6) there is a gear-shaped recess (10), which ensures the positive connection with the thread (3). The cutout (10) is positioned on the base (6) so that the peripheral edge (7) coincides with the outline (9). For fixation of the position of the tool (1) with its edge (7) opposite the application nozzle (4), a rib (11) normal to the base surface (6) is arranged on the base surface (6). The length of the rib (11) is chosen so that it engages with the cylindrical threaded portion (14) of the applicator nozzle (4). By fixing by means of the rib (11) relative to the application nozzle, palletizing of the cartridges (2) is still commercially possible.

In Fig. 2 the arrangement of the tool (1) with screwed application nozzle (4) can be seen. In this case, the tool (1) by means of the gear-shaped recess (10) on the conical part (13) or cylindrical threaded part (14) of the application nozzle (4) is pushed. This allows easy storage and disposal of the tool in conjunction with the cartridge (2).

Fig. 3 shows an embodiment in which additionally a retaining tab (15) is integrally formed on the tool (1). The retaining tab (15) is also provided at its end with a gear-shaped recess (16), by means of which the tool with the thread (3) of the cartridge (2) is positively connected. An embodiment of the end of the retaining tab (15) with a loop-like shape is also conceivable. The orientation of the tool base (6) is preferably parallel to the cylinder axis (5) of the cartridge (2).

The connection (17) of the retaining tab (15) with the tool (1) is thinned in a cross-section so that the connection point (17) is flexible and the tool initially in a plane Mold is made and can be separated for use without tools.

Furthermore, the tool (1) in the region of the connection (17) with the retaining lug (15) is notched (18), so that a distance of the connection point (17) is ensured to a possible processing edge (20).

In the embodiment in Figure 4 the holding lug (15) of the tool (1) in the region of the gear-shaped recess (16) with the retaining lug (12) of the applicator nozzle (4) is connected. Tool (1) and application nozzle (4) are made in one piece in this way and positively connected to the thread (3) of the cartridge (2).

From the view on the tool in Fig. 5 is an advantageous design of the tool (1) to recognize. The peripheral edge (7) consists of four adjacent straight edges (20, 22, 23, 24), wherein two edges (23, 24) form a right angle. Three edges (24, 20, 22) form an angle less than 90 ° and two edges (22, 23) form an angle greater than 90 °. The transitions of the edges (22, 20, 24), which form an acute angle, are rounded, the size of the rounded portions (25, 26) being chosen differently.

One of the straight edges (24) is further provided with a semicircular recess (27), so that even raised joints are possible.

Another straight edge (20) is provided with a mutually perpendicular and rounded in the transition of the angle recess (28).

Following the recess (28) is preferably the connection (17) between the retaining tab (15) and the notch (18) the in Figure 3 and Fig. 4 to arrange shown embodiments.

By means of the symbols (32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37), the possible joint shapes in printed or raised or embossed form are displayed in a simple manner on the tool (1) and the user is shown the different joint shapes.

From the cross section in Fig. 6 It can be seen that the tool (1) consists essentially of a material-dependent thickness (29).

Along the peripheral edge (7), the tool (1) is initially flat (31). The compound of the peripheral edge is effected by means of a shell-like shaped surface (32), so that excess material can be easily removed during the processing of joints.

FIG. 7 shows a schematic representation of another embodiment. The application nozzle (4) is integrally formed here with the edge of its base ring directly on the edge (7) of the tool (1). It is hereby supported a simplified injection molding technology production and it can be achieved material savings. In addition, a more compact design of the overall device is supported.
