Description

The present invention relates to a sanitary grinder for sewage and waste lifting plant solids, of the type comprising a caisson receiving the waters and an electric motor whose axis has at one end a impeller pump with blades and grinding means opposite a dilaceration chamber defined between the bottom of the box and a peripheral wall with an opening input.

These sanitary grinders are usually arranged behind the toilet bowl. They can also receive wastewater from other sanitary equipment. They can besides being embedded in a technical partition.

Some sanitary grinders have a blade of maceration of the solids mounted at the end of a motor shaft near the exit of the toilet bowl. Only water and solids sufficiently crushed pass through the holes of a cylindrical strainer to a tank to be sucked in by a pump located in the bottom of the tank and mounted at the other end of the engine.

This type of device has a number disadvantages: fibrous products such as wipes or periodic towels that are difficult to grind have tendency to accumulate inside the strainer, which may end up blocking the device. It is then necessary to dismantle the assembly to restore it Operating.

There are also known to be dilaceration pumps in which the grinding system is integrated with the pump. In a first case the dilaceration system consists of some cutting blades mounted on the rotor, inside centrifugal pump. The latter has an entrance axial of relatively small diameter to work correctly. However, some such as paper towels, towels or periodic tampons thrown into the toilet bowl remain blocked at the pump inlet and cling to the rotor, which also ends up blocking this one.

In another case, according to patent DE 4 128 281, the grinding device has a blade and a counterblade arranged at the inlet of the pump, one being driven by rotation by the rotor of the pump and the other being fixed on the circumference to act like shears.

However, the device has the disadvantage of generating a noise of friction of the blades annoying for the user, as well as risks of blockage in case of penetration accidental hard objects.

In order to solve these problems, it is necessary to define a sanitary grinder in which the clogging of the pump, the accumulation of solid waste, the blockage of pump motor, while reducing the emission of noise when of use.

For this purpose, the present invention relates to a crusher sanitary facility for sewage lifting and solid waste, of the type comprising at least one supply of water in a box, an electric motor of which the axis has at one end a rotor blade pump and grinding means facing a chamber of grinding provided with an entrance opening, characterized in that the face before the rotor is substantially flat and has a plurality of water passages arranged substantially radially and opening on the circumference of the rotor, and in that each passage of the rotor is extended by a channel delimited by helical blades, said rotor being housed in the body of the pump so that its front face is at least substantially in the plane of the opening of the body of pump, with the macerating members being arranged to protrude axial with respect to said front face.

The organs of dilaceration are completed by a blade circular cutting, arranged in the plane of the opening of the body, and which defines with the front face of the rotor the opening inlet of the pump.

Thus, advantageously, the solid waste entrained by the movement of the water sucked by the pump arrive on the front face of the rotor where they undergo a cut and / or maceration by the organs of grinding, while being both repelled from the rotor in a turbulent motion because of the successive shocks of the grinding elements in protruded, and sucked up by the global movement of water. This turbulence motion is generated by the rotor-type helico-centrifugal with helicoidal blades flush the water both to the periphery of the rotor, centrifugal force, and towards the rear part of the rotor, because of the inclination of the blades with respect to a plane axial. The centrifugal force exerted by the rotor causes the residues to the outer cutting blade.

The front part of the rotor is thus closed except for the passages on the front and which, in form elongated straight or curved and arranged substantially radially, therefore lead to the periphery of the face before the rotor. The width of these passages is in a range from 2 to 15 mm, the width of the passages being constant or increasing preference from the center of the rotor towards the outside of the rotor.

Because of the limited width of the passages, they play a role of filter in that they block the entry of the pump to piles of solid waste too big. These do not can only partially enter, then the outside of the rotor under the effect of centrifugal force and of water and are then subjected to the action of a blade circular that separates the blocked parts outside the rotor of those that are partially introduced.

The macerating members are arranged in axial projection from 1 to 10 mm on the front face of the rotor. These bodies are made of a hard material resistant to wear, such as a metal for example, and are dimensioned and shaped to cut and / or lacerate waste solid without holding them back. Macerating organs can be of substantially conical, straight or inclined shape or of preferably be flat either sawtooth or slats when the leading face is sufficiently inclined to avoid retaining and rotate fibrous substances.

The macerating members may be arranged on a insert on which the rotor is overmoulded or said insert, such as a metal plate, is attached to the front face of the rotor, the metal plate being cut in such a way as to leave the rotor passages free when affixed on the front face of said rotor. These bodies of dilaceration may also be fixed in compartments this effect on the front face of the rotor.

As mentioned before the opening of the pump body is equipped with a circular cutting blade of internal diameter slightly greater than the outside diameter of the front face of the rotor. Thus, when discharging waste to the outside solids that are too big to fit into defined passages on the front of the rotor, the blade presents at the periphery of the rotor participates in cutting processing and waste laceration due to the relative movement of rotor relative to this blade.

In order to improve the cutting phenomena and / or laceration, self-cleaning of water passages and pumping previously described, it is also possible to set up macerating organs on the bottom of the chamber of misalignment opposite the central part of the rotor and / or on the periphery of the opening of the pump body.

The tear chamber is defined between the front face of the rotor provided with the shearing elements, the front face of the pump body, bottom and peripheral wall. This unclosed peripheral wall is preferably substantially circular and presents a shape bringing back the waters and solids in swirling motion towards the center of the rotor. In particular, said peripheral wall has a bent nose end pointing towards the axis of rotation of the rotor.

This beak is disposed adjacent to the water inlet and waste to the churn chamber, so that bring back the direction of the swirling flow substantially parallel and in the same direction as the incoming flow in the dilaceration chamber.

Preferably, the bottom of the grinding chamber comprises at least one protuberance which is disposed off-center by relative to the axis of rotation of the rotor. This or these protuberances help move solids to the rotor and the bodies of misplacement in the movement swirling generated in the dilaceration chamber.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the motor and pump as well as the electrical parts of the crusher are enclosed in a watertight compartment of a box in which it is housed and which presents a substantially parallelepipedic or cylindrical shape. Of preferably, this watertight compartment is made in the form of a cassette nestable in the box and removable, said cassette being in particular adaptable to the end said box whose bottom constitutes the bottom of the chamber of the peripheral wall also defining the tearing chamber. The position of the cassette being offset with respect to the axis of disconnection of the bowl, it is thus possible to remove without tedious disassembly of crusher, the cassette comprising the motor, the pump and the means of grinding to repair, maintain, even make a standard exchange in case of defect.

The sewage supply channel may be in the form of a pipe bent through the caisson and bringing water and solid waste coming out of the toilet bowl towards the inlet opening of the dilaceration chamber. We gets so that the solids are immediately sucked up and contained in the dilaceration chamber, while the excess water that can not be immediately contained in the latter flows towards the spare chamber in the box and acting as a buffer tank. We avoids the accumulation of solid waste in the caisson. We can also consider making the channel of water supply by a system of partitions favoring the removal of air bubbles before they reach the chamber of laceration, which makes it possible to reduce the noises generated. Moreover, the pipe receiving wastewater can be positioned directly on the pumping device and grinding.

As shown in FIGS. 1, 2 or 3, the grinder sanitary facility for sewage lifting and solid waste, according to a non-limiting embodiment of the invention, comprises a box 1 receiving the waters, a sealed compartment 2 enclosing the electric members E, and an electric motor M arranged vertically according to an X axis.

This motor M drives at its lower end a rotor 5 to blades 6 of a lifting pump. The rotor 5 is provided with macerating means arranged opposite a chamber of maceration 3 defined between the bottom of the box 1 and a peripheral wall 4 provided with an inlet opening 4a.

A chaque passage 7 correspond une pale hélicoïdale 6 du rotor 5.As shown in FIGS. 1, 4, 5 and 6, the front face 5a of the rotor 5 is substantially flat and comprises a plurality of passages 7 for water, arranged substantially radially and opening on the periphery of the rotor 5. A each passage 7 corresponds to a helical blade 6 of the rotor 5.

The rotor 5 is housed in the body 8 of the pump so that its front face 5a is substantially in the plane of the opening of the pump body 8 (see Figure 1) or slightly protruding from this plane (see Figure 5). The opening pump body 8 of inner diameter slightly greater than the outside diameter of the front part 5a of the rotor 5 is preferably materialized by a blade circular cutting 11.

The means of dilaceration are formed by organs 9, inclined conical shape in FIGS. 4 and 5, disposed in axial projection relative to said front face 5a.

These are spared on a metal insert 10 then reported on the face before 5a of the rotor 5 or the rotor can be overmolded on said insert 10. The insert is made of a star whose branches 10 'are housed between passages 7 for water. The end of each branch 10 'is cut into a point and this tip is folded to form an organ of 9. When inserting insert 10 onto the front face 5a of the rotor 5, each tip 9 is disposed at near a passage 7.

The motor M and the pump as well as the electric members E are housed in a sealed compartment 2 made in form cassette (see Figure 1) in the bottom of which is housed the pump body 8 with the rotor 5. This cassette 2 is set up in the box 1 so that the rotor 5 is facing the bottom of the box 1 at the level of the dilaceration chamber 3 defined by the peripheral wall 4.

Cette paroi périphérique 4 est sensiblement circulaire et délimite donc la chambre de dilacération 3, contenant le mouvement tourbillonnaire (selon la flèche C) des eaux et des solides entrant dans ladite chambre 3 (cf la figure 3).This peripheral wall 4 is substantially circular and therefore delimits the dilaceration chamber 3, containing the swirling motion (according to arrow C) of the waters and solids entering said chamber 3 (see Figure 3).

The peripheral wall 4 has a shaped end curved nose 4b pointing substantially towards the axis of Rotor X rotation 5. This particular form of the end of the peripheral wall favors the entry of waste in the grinding chamber 3 but avoids also the exit of this waste, the redirection of waters induced by this nozzle 4b tending to bring the waste back to the center of the dilaceration chamber 3.

In order to promote also the movement of waste in the chamber 3, the bottom of the box 1 may comprise in said chamber of disintegration 3 of the relief parts acting on the movement of waste, so as to improve the process of maceration. For example, one can use two protuberances, for example conical, 12, 13 eccentric by relative to the axis of rotation X of the rotor 5. One of the protuberances 12 is located near said axis X of the rotor while the other protuberance 13 is disposed substantially at the junction of incoming and swirling flows in the tear chamber 3.

The cassette 2 being preferably positioned at one end of caisson 1, the evacuation of wastewater and waste solid out of a toilet bowl for example is not next to the dilaceration chamber 3. For prevent floating solids from accumulating in the buffer part of the box, we put in place a channel supplying water, for example a bent pipe 14, which brings water and solid waste out of a evacuation towards the opening 4a of the dilaceration chamber 3.

Preferably, the end of the wall 4 also has a spout 4c in a direction substantially opposite that of spout 4b of such that at the outlet of the pipe 14, this nozzle 4c and the nozzle 4b guide the solid waste to the inlet 4a of the 3. The spout 4c also makes it possible to define a non-turbulence zone for the capture of the height of water detected by a pressure switch.

Solid wastes driven by the movement of water sucked by the pump arrive on the front face of the rotor 5 where they are cut and / or dilated by 9, while being repulsed at the same time of the rotor 5 in a turbulent movement due to shocks successive protruding elements 9 protruding, and sucked by the global movement of water. This movement of Turbulence is generated by the rotor 5 of the helico-centrifugal type. The helically shaped blades 6 drive the water both towards the periphery of the rotor 5 due to the force centrifugally and towards the rear part of the rotor 5 because of the inclination of the blades 6 relative to an axial plane.

The cassette 2 has an outlet 15 of the pump body 8 connectable by the outlet manifold 15 to a pipe 16. This exhaust pipe 16 is extended preferably by a non-return valve integral with the discharge pipe.

Preferably, the casing 1 comprises connections 20 for other inflow of water and waste so that it is connectable to other water lifting installations used as sink, bidet, shower, etc.

To promote engine cooling in case of intensive use, it can provide a hood system enclosing the upper part of the engine, provided with fins, and channeling the airflow.
