Description
SOLD) COMPOSITION TRANSFERRED VIA POLYESTER
Technical Field
This invention relates to a solid composition transferred by means of polyester, and more particularly to a solid composition transferred by means of polyester impregnately coated and equally mixed with various pigment members thereby having excellent color tone.
Background Art Conventionally, printed matters having durability and color in various forms and shapes have been used on products for advertisement and decoration, or on accessories to increase visual effect for beholders.
In fact, printed matters or cubic molded materials worthy of attracting the attention of consumers accessing lots of goods and products for advertisement have been earnestly required. To meet the requirements, some types of printed matters have been manufactured and used. Embodiments of the types known heretofore are described as folio wings:
First, a conventional cubic molded material referred to Figure 1 comprises the parts of: a rubber molding frame formed by injecting liquid plaster in a specific molding frame to mold a specific cubic shape; plaster separated from the rubber molding frame after vulcanization for a specified time; a resin molding frame 201 formed by pressing resin on the whole surface of the cubic molded material materialized by the plaster. A demolding material is formed within the resin molding frame to separate the cubic molded material materialized by synthetic resin 203 from the frame. In addition, the cubic molded material is formed by directly painting fluid pigment member; having
various color tones on the cubic molded material materialized by the synthetic resin so as to make the shape of the painted cubic material visually conspicuous. However, these conventional embodiments request a long time and high costs because of complicated manufacturing process, that is, color tone should be painted manually on the surface of the cubic molded material materialized by the synthetic resin. Furthermore, painting is easily erased or peeling off owing to scratching or any force from the outside, marring the appearance of the cubic molded material.
Second, a printed matter like Figure 2, suggested to solve the problem has been manufactured by directly transferring or adhering a thin plate film 209 formed of the pattern to be drawn on a surface of a cubic molded material 203 materialized by synthetic resin. And, the printed matter, if it is a plane print material, has been manufactured by using a base layer, an adhesive layer, a printing layer and a thin film layer. The printed matter has its own problems, inconvenient usage due to huge weight of the material and complicated manufacturing process. Therefore, the plane or cubic molded material can be easily adhered to a simple cubic surface or a mold surface but cannot be adhered to a complicated cubic surface. Further, it is difficult to accurately accord the location of the figures on the films or the transfer papers to the location of the cubic molded material.
Accordingly, the present inventor contrived a cubic molded material and method therefore, which was filed in 1998 (Application No. 10-1998-0032811) and issued (Issuance No. 10-0256848). The issued cubic molded material comprises a molding member having at least one shape, either an embossed carving or an engraved carving, and a pigment member formed by impregnately coating a specific pattern corresponding to the material as deeply as the depth of the molding member from one side of the shape. Method therefore comprises the steps of: preparing a resin sheet and
coating patterns with at least one color on the resin sheet; forming at least a cubic molding frame either in an embossed carving or in an engraved carving forward the pattern and coating liquid synthetic resin on the cubic molding frame in the pattern; vulcanizing the color tone enough to be impregnately coated on the contact area of the synthetic resin and the pattern. Although this cubic molded material manufactured as above reduces inconvenience during manufacturing as well as makes easy manufacturing a small sized material by using a single transfer paper, it has the following problems: complicated process for manufacturing the cubic molded material; if it is a huge size, difficult manufacturing process due to huge weight of the synthetic resin itself; inconvenient usage; in some cases products becoming bent or broken when they are thin plates; unstable harmony of color tones; failure of satisfying consumers' sense of color.
