Definitions
- the invention relates to an industrial truck with a vehicle body, the control elements has, and with a load section that a load carrier for lifting a Owns load.
- the invention relates to pallet trucks and forklifts.
- the invention has for its object to provide an industrial truck in which damage to loads, pallets and goods during loading and unloading and reliably avoided during transportation with the simplest possible means or is at least reduced.
- the invention is based on an industrial truck with the features of claim 1 solved.
- the industrial truck according to the invention has a safety device that a Has position sensor and a detection unit.
- the position sensor detects the Position of a load arranged on the load carrier and passes this to the detection unit further.
- the detection unit compares the detected position of the load with reference positions and generated in case of a deviation of the positions a warning signal from each other.
- the safety device provides simple means sure that a picked up load is in one of the reference positions or in a predetermined interval is on the load carrier. This will ensures that the load carrier is not pushed in too far, for example in a pallet so that it does not protrude from the pallet when the pallet is lifted and therefore no other load is damaged.
- the safety device made sure that the load taken in a safe Position on the load carrier and while the truck is moving from A B, for example, for loading and unloading a truck from the load carrier can fall.
- the position sensor ensures that de Pallet is not torn apart by lifting the load carrier. in this connection the position sensor ensures that the truck's load wheels are not set up Floor boards of the pallet stand and so do not tear them apart.
- the position sensor detects the position of a pallet on the load carrier.
- the position sensor is preferably a Distance measuring device that measures the distance of a picked up load to a Reference point measures. The position sensor therefore detects how far the load carrier into the Pallet is retracted and thus recognizes whether the load carrier protrudes and at one Movement may damage objects.
- the detection unit triggers a warning signal when the distance between the vehicle body and the load taken in one predetermined height above the load carrier exceeds a predetermined distance. If, for example, barrels are transported, the detection unit detects them Position of the load at a predetermined height above the load support. To this This ensures that the barrel is not too far forward on the load carrying device is positioned and possibly during a tilting movement of the industrial truck falls down.
- an ultrasonic sensor is used as the distance measuring device intended.
- the ultrasonic sensor detects the position of the Pallet or the load on the load carrier.
- the ultrasonic distance sensor is Particularly suitable for use with industrial trucks because of such a sensor works maintenance-free and reliably.
- the safety device triggers an optical and / or acoustic warning signal, if the picked up load is not properly picked up in the reference position is.
- the safety device is on Industrial trucks can also be retrofitted.
- the safety device can on the vehicle be provided so that the distance to a front edge of the pallet is detected.
- the safety device is in a free end of the load carrying means. Can be used to power the safety device a separate power supply, for example via batteries, may be provided, or the safety device is supplied by a voltage source of the industrial truck.
- the safety device is preferably integrated in a housing that the Shields sensor against splash water, dust and / or vibrations.
- Fig. 1 shows a pallet truck 10, which is a non-stacking pallet truck with forks 12 is equipped.
- the pallet truck is lifted by a person walking Corridor from or - if equipped with operator platform (not shown) - through controlled a passenger.
- the pallet truck has a vehicle body 14, which has a drive unit 16.
- One stands out of the drive unit 16 Drawbar 18 in front with actuating elements for lifting the fork tines 12 is provided.
- the pallet truck is supported by load wheels 20.
- the load wheels 20 are articulated via pivotable arms 22 to the fork tines 12.
- Fig. 1 shows raised fork tines 12 with arms folded down.
- the lowered state of the fork tines 12 are the arms under the fork tines 12 arranged. Depending on the diameter of the load wheel, it can be opened through an opening 24 in the fork tine 12 partially protrude.
- the load wheels can be provided on pivotable arms as shown in FIG. 1 his. However, it is also possible for the vehicle to be held by the vehicle body Support load arms. With hand pallet trucks, the load wheels can also over a lever device may be articulated on the fork tines.
- the safety device also serves to prevent a pallet from tearing apart to the position of the load, for example of drums picked up check.
- Fig. 2 shows the fork tines 12 with their recesses 24 from above.
- On Distance meter 26 is provided at the end of the load part facing the vehicle body.
- the distance meter 26 measures the non-contact by ultrasound Distance to a picked palette (not shown).
- the Distance sensor 26 may be arranged approximately at floor level in order to measure the distance to a front edge of the picked-up pallet. Is the leading edge of the Pallet not within the interval A, so when the stroke is actuated triggered a warning signal. It is also possible for the safety device 26 to have a Actuation of the stroke locks as long as the pallet is not in area A.
- Adjustment elements can be provided with which the pallet size can be adjusted.
- the safety device can be controlled by an electrical control of the Industrial truck connected to only trigger a warning signal when there is a signal to actuate the stroke. It is also possible that the Detection unit generates a signal together with the warning signal and to the Control of the truck forwards an actuation of the stroke at a blocks the pallet that was not correctly picked up.
- the safety device 26 can on a battery box of the vehicle body attached or integrated into the battery compartment, the measurement in this Case takes place via a corresponding recess in the wall of the battery compartment.
- FIG. 3 shows a forklift 28 (counterbalance truck).
- the forklift can it is also a truck-mounted forklift intended for loading and unloading trucks act.
- the forklift 28 has forks 30 that run along one Lift mast 32 can be raised and lowered.
- the safety device 34 is arranged on the load carrying means and is raised and lowered with this.
- the spaced from the fork tines Detection device 34 detects the position of a load at a height B. the fork tines 30.
- the safety device 34 uses ultrasound to measure the distance the edge of a picked up load facing the vehicle body 36 to the Position of the safety device 34.
- the measure of how much a tilting movement of the Vehicle body for example when crossing a threshold or the like, triggers a tilting movement for the load.
- the Safety device checked whether the load was taken up so far that the Forks survive and there is a risk that one behind the picked up Load standing load is damaged during the stroke.
- the safety device 34 checks whether the distance of the load taken up is a predetermined distance does not fall below the vehicle body. It is also possible that Distance measuring device to be provided in the fork tines and the distance between the ends the forks of pallets measure behind the pallet to be picked up stand.
- the distance meter arranged in this way helps to avoid collisions Avoid forks with stored goods or obstacles.
