The snowshoe according to the invention is characterized in that the frame comprises a vertical peripheral wall, and that the spatula is shaped according to a bow, so as to form with the remainder of the sieve a V-shaped profile symmetrical with respect to the median plane longitudinal racket.
According to one characteristic of the invention, the central surface is constituted by a beam having an inverted U-shaped contour.
According to another characteristic of the invention, the V-shaped profile of the sieve has an inclination with an obtuse angle of between 120 ° and 170 °.
According to a preferred embodiment, the set of internal ribs of the sieve comprises lower borders located in the same horizontal plane as that of the vertical peripheral wall of the frame. The outer edges of the V-shaped side surfaces of the intermediate portion project above the horizontal central surface of the beam.

- the coefficient of penetration of the
racket 10 in deep snow is decreased, which facilitates sliding forward, - the lift of the
sieve 16 is increased for a predetermined width of theracket 10, - the slope grip is improved, half of the lift surface of the
sieve 16 remaining permanently in contact with the snow.
In FIG. 9, the set of
