Abstract

L'invention porte: sur un procédé d'aromatisation une composition ingérable à l'aide d'un agent aromatisant sous une forme organoleptique purifiée débarrassée des substances d'origine naturelles présentes dans la mangue. L'agent aromatisant peut être utilisé dans un grande variété de véhicules ingérables tels que du chewing gum, des confiseries dures ou molles, des produits laitiers, des boissons dont des jus et des produits à base de jus, des produits à base de légumes verts ou de poulet et analogues; sur une composition ingérable comportant un véhicule ingérable et une quantité organoleptiquement efficace de l'agent aromatisant. L'invention porte également sur le 3-mercaptobutyrate d'éthyle de formule CH3(SH)CHCH2COOCH2CH3, sous une forme purifiée, débarrassée des substances d'origine naturelle présentes dans la mangue; sur un procédé conférant, rehaussant améliorant ou modifiant les propriétés odorifères d'une composition parfumante ou d'un article parfumé consistant à leur ajouter le 3-mercaptobutyrate d'éthyle de formule CH3(SH)CHCH2COOCH2CH3; sur une composition parfumante ou un article parfumé contenant comme principe actif du 3-mercaptobutyrate d'éthyle de formule CH3(SH)CHCH2COOCH2CH3; et sur un procédé de préparation du 3-mercaptobutyrate d'éthyle consistant à faire réagir de l'éthylcrotonate avec du sulfhydrate de sodium et du bicarbonate de soude de manière à former un dimère bisulfuré de 3-mercaptobutyrate d'éthyle qu'on réduit pour obtenir le 3-mercaptobutyrate d'éthyle.
