Am Stickrahmenträger ist für die Verbindung bzw. Ankoppelung des Stickrahmens ein Haltewinkel aus Stahl mit nach oben ragenden Arretiernasen angeordnet. Am Stickrahmen ist ein nach unten offener Führungskanal befestigt, in welchen der vertikale Schenkel des Haltewinkels mit den Arretiernasen von unten einschiebund durch zwei gegensinnig bewegbare Sperrschieber arretierbar ist. Die Sperrschieber sind im Führungskanal längsgeführt und mit zwei Griffplatten verbunden. Die Griffplatten überragen den Führungskanal derart, dass sie mit zwei Fingern einer Hand erfasst und gegeneinander gepresst werden können. Zwischen den beiden Sperrschiebern ist eine Feder eingesetzt, welche diese bei entlasteten Griffplatten auseinanderdrücken und so die nach aussen gerichteten Enden der Sperrschieber unter die Arretiernasen im Führungskanal schiebt. Die durch das Stichloch 15 hindurch mit einer nichtgezeigten Greifervorrichtung zusammenwirkende Nadel ist mit 17 bezeichnet, während der auf das nichtgezeigte Nähgut wirkende Nähfuss mit 19 bezeichnet ist.
Die Basiseinheit 21 eines durch nichtgezeigte mechanische und elektrische Verbindungsmittel mit der Nähmaschine 1 verbindbaren Stickmoduls 23 enthält die programmgesteuerten Antriebsmittel für den Stickrahmenträger 25 zum Antreiben des Trägers 25 in x-Richtung. Im Stickrahmenträger 25 sind weiter Antriebsmittel zum Antreiben des Stickrahmens 27 in y-Richtung angeordnet. Der Stickrahmen 27 ist, wie allgemein üblich, 2-teilig ausgebildet und besteht aus einem geschlossenen Innenrahmen 27a und einem geteilten Aussenrahmen 27b. Am Aussenrahmen 27b ist eine Spannvorrichtung 29 zum Festklemmen des Nähguts angeordnet. Der Stickrahmen 27 ist mittels einer allgemein mit 31 bezeichneten Befestigungsvorrichtung mit dem Stickrahmenträger 25 verbindbar.

In den Figuren 3 und 4 ist im Vordergrund das Stickrahmen-Halteblech 35 sichtbar, von dem nur gerade die beiden Platten 37 mit den daran angeformten Gegenhaken 39 das Gehäuse des Stickrahmenträger 25 überragen (letzterer in Figur 3 weggelassen). Im Hintergrund ist ein kurzer Abschnitt des Stickrahmens 27 mit der daran befestigten Führungs- und Codierschiene 41 sichtbar. An der Führungsschiene 41 sind beispielsweise drei Codierabschnitte 43, 45, 44, letztere teilweise durch das Stickrahmen-Halteblech 35 verdeckt sichtbar. Die Codierabschnitte 43, 44, 45 können aus gezackten Kanten bestehen. Es ist auch möglich, diese als Strichcode zu gestalten (keine Abbildung).
Auf der Führungsschiene 41 ist beispielsweise in einer Führungsnut 47 ein Halte- und Rastelement, kurz Halteelement 49 genannt, welches die Befestigungsvorrichtung bildet, längsverschiebbar gelagert. Letzteres ist an Rast- und Halteschlitzen 51 im Bereich der Codierabschnitte 43 bis 45 an der Führungsschiene 41 feststell- oder einrastbar. Das Halteelement 49, das in den Figuren 3 und 4 ohne Abdeckung 57 dargestellt ist, umfasst einen Tragkörper 53, der die Führungsschiene 41 partiell umfasst, bzw. an seinen beiden Enden untergreift. Die beiden Enden des Tragkörpers 53 sind vorteilhafterweise als Endplatten 55 ausgestaltet, welchen die Abdeckung 57 stirnseitig abschliessen. Zwischen den beiden Endplatten 55 ist in der Mitte eine Längsführung 59 für zwei darin verschiebbar gelagerte Verriegelungsschieber 61 ausgebildet. An den Verriegelungsschiebern 61 sind nach oben abstehende Griffplatten 63 angeformt, welche die Abdeckung 57 oben überragen. Die Verriegelungsschieber 61 umfassen nach aussen gerichtete Keile, welche in Anlage mit im wesentlichen parallel zur ersten Keilfläche liegenden Schrägflächen 67 am Halteelment 49 gelangen. Die zweiten Keilflächen der Keile 65 liegen an den Platten 37 an und stützen dadurch den Stickrahmen 27 spielfrei am Stickrahmenträger 25 ab. Weiter umfassen die Verriegelungsschieber 61 je einen nach aussen gerichteten Verriegelungshaken 68 mit obenliegender Verriegelungsfläche, welche Verriegelungshaken 68 an der Unterseite der Gegenhaken 39 an den Platten 37 in Anlage gelangen.

Dessen geometrische Form ist derart ausgebildet, damit der Haken 81 im wesentlichen spielfrei in einen der Halteschlitze 51 an der Führungsschiene 41 eingreifen kann. Die beiden Schraubenfedern 69 können zudem in schalenförmigen Auflagen 83 an der Oberseite der Längsführung 59 abgestützt sein. Die Längsführung 59 übernimmt zudem die seitliche Führung des Rasthebels 79 und trägt auch den Schwenkbolzen 85. An einem der beiden Verriegelungsschieber 61 ist zudem ein Hebeorgan in Gestalt einer Auflauffläche 70 angebracht, welche beim Zusammenpressen der Verriegelungsschieber 61 mit den Griffplatten 63 unter das freie Ende des Rasthebels 79 greift und den Rasthaken 81 aus dem Schlitz 51 hebt.There are two between the two locking slides 61 Coil springs 69 held clamped. Im folgenden wird die Funktionsweise des Arretierens und des Verschiebens des Stickrahmens 27 erläutert.
Ein Stickrahmen 27 mit einem, zwei, drei oder mehr Stickflächenabschnitten und entsprechend vielen Halteschlitzen 51 und Codierabschnitten 43 bis 45 wird nach dem Zusammendrücken der beiden Griffplatten 63 vertikal von oben auf die beiden Platten 37 am Stickrahmen-Halteblech 35 aufgeschoben, bis die beiden Führungsnocken 91 vollständig in die Ausnehmungen 89 eingeführt sind. Nun kann der auf die Griffplatten 63 ausgeübte Druck durch die Finger der einen Hand soweit verringert werden, dass einerseits der Haken 81 am Hebel 79 auf der Oberfläche der Führungsschiene 41 federnd aufliegt, andererseits jedoch die Keile 65 noch nicht satt an den Schrägflächen 67 anliegen und folglich ein Verschieben des Stickrahmens 17 in der Führungsnut 47 möglich ist. Beim weiteren Lösen der Griffplatten 63 schieben sich die Verriegelungshaken 68 unter die Gegenhaken 39 an den Platten 37. Dadurch ist der Stickrahmen 27 in vertikaler Richtung am Träger 25 gehalten.
Sobald beim seitlichen Schieben der Haken 81 in den Bereich eines Schlitzes 51 an der Führungsschiene 41 gelangt, schwenkt der Hebel 79 durch die Kraft der Rastfeder 75 nach unten und arretiert den Stickrahmen 27 am Stickrahmenträger 25 beispielsweise im Bereich des Codierabschnitts 44 (Fig 3/4). Wenn an den beiden Griffplatten 63 keine Kräfte mehr wirken, drücken die beiden Schraubenfedern 69 die Keile 65 an die Schrägflächen 67. Durch das Spiel des Halteelements 49 in der Führungsnut 47 wird der Tragkörper 59 an die beiden Platten 37 angepresst. Es liegt nun in x- und y-Richtung eine völlig spielfreie Verbindung zwischen Stickrahmen 27 und Träger 25 vor. Durch den Eingriff des Hakens 81 im Schlitz 51 an der Codierstelle 44 kommen die Codiermittel, hier Zacken, vor ein nicht dargestelltes Sensorelement am Träger 25, welches zum einen anhand der Zacken die Grösse und Ausbildung des Stickrahmens 27 erkennt und zudem auch die Stelle, an welcher der Stickrahmen 27 mit dem Träger 25 verbunden ist. Die vom Sensorelement erfassten Daten werden der Maschinensteuerung mitgeteilt. Anschliessend kann die Bestickung des dem Codierabschnitt 44 zugeordneten Stickfeldes innerhalb des Stickrahmens 27 erfolgen. Um auch das benachbarte Stickfeld bearbeiten zu können, werden die Griffplatten 63 mit zwei Finger einer Hand soweit zusammengepresst, bis der Haken 81 den Schlitz 51 und die Keile 65 die satte Anlage verlassen haben und ein seitliches Verschieben des Stickrahmens 27 am Stickrahmenträger 25 möglich ist. Sobald der Haken 81 am benachbarten Schlitz 51 einrastet wird von der nicht dargestellten Sensorik anhand der Ausbildung des Codierabschnitts 43 die neue Lage des Stickrahmens 27 ermittelt und der Steuerung der Nähmaschine 1 zur Verfügung gestellt. Diese kann nun das gespeicherte Nähoder Stickmuster im neuen Stickfeld an der richtigen Stelle weiterführen.

As soon as the hook 81 reaches the area of a slot 51 on the guide rail 41 during the lateral pushing, the lever 79 pivots downward due to the force of the detent spring 75 and locks the embroidery frame 27 on the embroidery frame support 25, for example in the area of the coding section 44 (Fig. 3/4 ). When no more forces are acting on the two handle plates 63, the two coil springs 69 press the wedges 65 against the inclined surfaces 67. The support body 59 is pressed against the two plates 37 by the play of the holding element 49 in the guide groove 47. There is now a completely play-free connection between the embroidery frame 27 and the carrier 25 in the x and y directions.
