Fig. 1 zeigt eine Draufsicht auf eine Wendestangenanordnung gemäß einer ersten Ausgestaltung der vorliegenden Erfindung. Zwischen zwei Seitengestellen 01, die mit entsprechenden Seitengestellen eines der Wendestangenanordnung vorgegliederten (nicht dargestellten) Längsschneidapparates verbunden sind, erstrecken sich, vertikal in verschiedenen Ebenen gestaffelt, zwei Führungsprofile 02, an denen jeweils ein Träger 03; 04 für eine Wendestange 06 bzw. 07 verschiebbar und arretierbar angeordnet ist. Die Seitengestelle 01 der Wendestangenanordnung fluchten annähernd mit den Seitengestellen von Druckeinheiten einer zugehörigen Rotationsdruckmaschine. Eine erste dieser Wendestangen 07 ist hier mit ihrem Träger 04 an einem Längsende starr verbunden. Die zweite Wendestange 06 ist mit ihrem Träger 03 durch einen um eine horizontale, zur Ebene der Fig. 1 parallele Achse drehbaren Schaft 09 verbunden, wobei die Achse die zweite Wendestange 06 in einem Abstand von deren dem Träger 03 zugewandten Längsende 11 kreuzt. Der Schaft 09 ist mit Hilfe eines am Träger 03 angebrachten Spannhebels 12 feststellbar. Der Träger 03 weist zwei Markierungen 13 auf, die hier als Vorsprünge ausgebildet sind, deren genaue Position am Träger 03 in drei Raumrichtungen justierbar ist. Die zweite Wendestange 06 trägt an ihrem Längsende 11 eine komplementäre Markierung in Form einer Aussparung, die so geformt ist, dass sie einen formschlüssigen Eingriff einer der Markierungen 13 ermöglicht. Durch geeignete Justage der Position der Markierungen 13 kann sichergestellt werden, dass die zweite Wendestange 06 in ihrer in der Fig. 1 gezeigten Position exakt parallel zur ersten Wendestange 07 ist, oder, nach Schwenken der zweiten Wendestange 06 um 180° um die Achse des Schaftes 09 und in Eingriff bringen der Markierungen 13 exakt orthogonal zur ersten Wendestange 07 orientiert ist.Fig. 1 shows a plan view of a turning bar assembly according to a first embodiment of the present invention. Die Materialbahn 22 ist der Reihe nach um die zweite Wendestange 06, die Umtenkwalzenanordnung 16, die Registerwalze 14 und die erste Wendestange 07 herumgeschlungen. Für die Zwecke der vorliegenden Beschreibung wird angenommen, dass sie in Richtung eines Pfeils T bewegt wird; selbstverständlich wäre auch eine Bewegung in entgegengesetzter Richtung möglich. Ein einlaufender Abschnitt 23 erstreckt sich vom Eingang der Wendestangenanordnung bis zur zweiten Wendestange 06. Wie insbesondere in Fig. 2 zu erkennen ist, umschlingt die Materialbahn 22 die zweite Wendestange 06 von oben nach unten, erreicht die Umlenkwalzenanordnung 16, wird dort um 180° umgelenkt und verläuft in einem geringen Abstand von der Unterseite der zweiten Wendestange 06 quer durch die gesamte Wendestangenanordnung bis hin zur Oberseite der Registerwalze 14. Von der Unterseite der Registerwalze 14 erstreckt sich ein Abschnitt 26 der Materialbahn 22 in einer Ebene E zur Unterseite der ersten Wendestange 07. Einlaufender und auslaufender Abschnitt 23; 24 befinden sich auf gleichem Niveau. Die (in der Fig. 5 nicht sichtbaren) Träger 03; 04 sind an einem einzigen Führungsprofil 02 montiert. Während bei den zwei zuvor beschriebenen Varianten die zwei Wendestangen 06; 07 beliebig nahe aneinander herangerückt werden können und sogar übereinander hinweg verschoben werden können, ist dies bei der Variante der Fig. 5 nicht möglich. Eine wesentliche Einschränkung in der Brauchbarkeit ist damit jedoch nicht verbunden, da Materialbahnen 22, die mit Hilfe der Wendestangenanordnung übereinandergelegt werden sollen, in den meisten Fällen aus einer einheitlichen Bahn durch Längsschneiden erhaltene Teilbahnen sind, die, um sie übereinander legen zu können, um wenigstens ihre eigene Breite verschoben werden müssen. Der hierfür erforderliche Abstand der Wendestangen 06; 07 kann auch bei dieser dritten Ausgestaltung leicht eingestellt werden. Claims (11)
- A turner-bar arrangement with a first turner bar (07) able to have a web of material (22) wrapped around it in order to reverse the running direction of the web of material (22) and a register roller (14) able to have the web of material (22) wrapped around it, wherein a portion (26) of the web of material (22) running between the first turner bar (07) and the register roller (14) defines a first plane (E), wherein the first turner bar (07) and the register roller (14) are arranged without overlapping as viewed from a direction perpendicular to the plane (E), characterized in that both the register roller (14) and the turner bars (07) are mounted on one side.
- A turner-bar arrangement according to Claim 1, characterized in that the register roller (14) is arranged outside a lateral stand (01) arranged parallel to the conveying direction (T) of the web of material (22).
- A turner-bar arrangement according to Claim 1, characterized in that the first turner bar (07) and the register roller (14) are arranged on the same side of the plane (E).
- A turner-bar arrangement according to Claim 1 or 3, characterized in that the register roller (14) has a larger diameter than the first turner bar (07).
- A turner-bar arrangement according to Claim 1, characterized in that the turner-bar arrangement comprises a second turner bar (06), and the web of material (22) is capable of being wrapped in sequence around the first turner bar (07), the register roller (14) and the second turner bar (06).
- A turner-bar arrangement according to Claim 5, characterized in that at least one of the two turner bars (06) is capable of being reversed from an orientation parallel to the other turner bar (07) into an orientation at a right angle.
- A turner-bar arrangement according to Claim 6, characterized in that the reversible turner bar (06) is rotatable about an axis which intersects the turner bar (06) at a distance from one of its longitudinal ends (11), and a marking (13), which is capable of being made to overlap in the parallel orientation or in the orientation at a right angle respectively with one of two complementary markings (13) on a carrier (03) of the turner bar (06) in each case, is attached to the longitudinal end (11).
- A turner-bar arrangement according to Claim 7, characterized in that the markings (13) have a spatial shape and are capable of being brought into engagement with positive locking.
- A method of reversing a web of material (22) with the following steps:- the web of material (22) arriving in the conveying direction (T) is guided onto the top side of a first turner bar (06);- the said web of material (22) is reversed by the first turner bar (06) transversely to the conveying direction (T), and- is guided from the underside of the first turner bar (06) to the underside of a reversing roller (16);- the web of material (22) running transversely to the conveying direction is reversed through 180° by the reversing roller (16) and is guided from the top side of the first turner bar (06) to the top side of a register roller (14),- the web of material (22) is reversed through 180° by the register roller (14) and is guided from the underside of the register roller (14) to the underside of a second turner bar (07), and- the web of material (22) is reversed from the top side of the second turner bar (07) into the conveying direction (T).
- A method according to Claim 9, characterized in that the web of material (22) running transversely to the conveying direction (T) is guided above the first turner bar (06) and the second turner bar (07).
- A method according to Claim 9, characterized in that the web of material (22) running transversely to the conveying direction (T) is guided between the first turner bar (06) and the second turner bar (07).
