Abstract

Das Verfahren zur Beseitigung von störenden Legierungsbestandteilen aus einer Aluminium-Gusslegierung weist folgende Schritte auf:

  • vollständiges Aufschmelzen der Aluminium-Gusslegierung,
  • Zumischen von Bor bis zu einem in der Schmelze verbleibenden Borgehalt von maximal 0,005 Gew.-%,
  • Verweilen der Schmelze bis zum Vergießen für eine zur Reaktion des Bors mit den störenden Legierungsbestandteilen erforderliche Mindestdauer und
  • Entfernen oder Zurückhalten entstandener Feststoffe aus der Schmelze vor oder während ihres Vergießens.
The method for removing interfering alloy constituents from an aluminum casting alloy comprises the following steps:
  • complete melting of the aluminum casting alloy,
  • Admixing of boron to a residual in the melt boron content of not more than 0.005 wt .-%,
  • Residence of the melt until it is cast for a minimum time required for the reaction of the boron with the interfering alloy constituents, and
  • Removal or retention of resulting solids from the melt before or during their casting.
