Description

The present invention relates to a cable connection device for fixing of power cables and for establishing an electrical connection between Power cables according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such cable connection devices must because of the enormous thickness of the endure extreme tensile forces to be connected without their function to be affected.

In Figure 1 is a common cable connection device for power cables according to the previously known prior art shown in cross section. The cable connection device 51 has a socket 52 into which two are aligned on one axis Cavities 53 are formed by only one in the socket existing partition 63 are separated. The cavities 53 are cylindrical trained and each serve to accommodate a multi-part contacting element 54, which is composed of a contact sleeve 55 and a locking device 57 is. The contact sleeve 55 consists of an inside of the socket 52 tapered cone 62, which is provided with slots, and an outer ring 61, on the outside 60 contact strips 56 for producing the conductive Connection with the walls of the socket 52 are introduced. Ring 61 and cone 62 are formed as separate parts, with the ring 61 on its inner surface is also beveled inwards to simplify the insertion of the cone 62 and to ensure its fixation. When assembling it first the power cable (not shown) is inserted into the cone 62 where it is at its front End is easily held due to the narrowing. Then the Ring 61 pushed over the cone 62 and together with this into the cavity 53 introduced. To firmly anchor the power cable and an electrical one Establishing connection with the socket is now via the locking device 57 the required contact force on the cone using a hydraulic tool 62 transmitted. As a result, the cone 62 is thus in the direction of the interior of the Bush moved that it is compressed inside the ring 61. In order to a secure connection is created that can no longer be solved practically can. Via the contact sleeve 55 and the contact strips 56 arranged thereon becomes an electrical connection to the electrically conductive socket 52 and at the same time to the power cable arranged in the other cavity. However the assembly of the power cables in the cable connection device is relatively complicated and at the same time requires additional tools or inserts. disadvantage has the device of the prior art in that it only very limited use for cables of different cross-sections.

The present invention is therefore based on the object of a cable connecting device for fixing energy cables and for producing an electrical one To create connection between power cables, in which the assembly of the Energy cables are particularly easy to use, but they can also be used for different cables Cross-sections are suitable and a reduction in material costs is guaranteed.

This object is solved by the features of claim 1.

The fact that the power cable by means of at least one on the outside in the Circumferential wall of the screw-in screw with an electrically conductive screw the contact sleeve is connectable and can be clamped in it, a secure anchoring and electrical connection of the power cable in the cable connection device created that can be manufactured without additional tools.

The contact sleeve advantageously has two or more screws, as a result of which the fixation can be supported on several areas of the conductor.

For the determination of conductors with a smaller cross-section or out of round Cross-section, it is particularly advantageous that the screws over the The outer circumference of the contact sleeve is distributed so that it is at different angles can be screwed onto the power cable.

It is particularly advantageous that the screw is designed as a tear-off head screw is so that regardless of the thickness of the cross section of the power cable the screw protrudes beyond the outer circumference of the contact sleeve is avoided. The tear-off head screw is dimensioned so that the tear-off head shears at a predetermined torque and the screw provides the required clamping force.

To simplify the insertion of the cable conductor into the contact sleeve is advantageous provided that each contact sleeve has a cylindrical interior having.

A particularly simple and secure locking of the contact sleeve is thereby achieved that the locking device as a in a groove on the outside of the Contact sleeve arranged spring ring is formed, which in a in the inner wall of the cavity of the socket extends notch when the contacting element is inserted into the cavity.

The fixation of the cable conductor in the contact sleeve is reinforced by the fact that Inside of the contact sleeve is provided with an internal groove.

Referring to Figure 2, the basic structure of the invention Cable connection device 1 explained. The cable connection device 1 has in a preferred embodiment, a socket 2, in the two in a line lying cavities 3 are arranged one behind the other. The two cavities 3 are cylindrical and only by an intermediate wall 13 of the Socket 2 separated. In the cavities 3 are two contacting elements 4 insertable, which are designed as contact sleeves 5. The outside diameter of the Contacting elements 4 is only slightly smaller than the inside diameter of the cylindrical cavities 3. The contact sleeves 5 have a cylindrical Interior 14 in which the power cable (not shown) is inserted and secured there what can be described in more detail below.

The contact sleeves 5 each have two contact strips in the example shown 6 on its outside 10, compensate for the tolerances and one secure electrical connection between contact sleeve 5 and electrically conductive Make socket 2 when the contact sleeve 5 is inserted into the cavity 3. ever depending on the current to be transmitted, even more contact strips 6 be provided. A locking device 7 serves to anchor the contact sleeve 5 in the socket 2. For this purpose, the contact sleeve 5 on the outside 10 is preferred at its outwardly oriented end, a groove 11 is provided in the there is a spring ring 9. When assembled, it expands into one of the inner wall of the cavity 3 formed notch 12, at least one Part of the spring ring still remains in the groove 11, so that a simple and safe Fixation of the contact sleeve 5 in the socket 2 is reached.

In Figure 3, an embodiment of a contact sleeve 5 according to the invention is in perspective shown. The contact strips 6 on the outside are also clear here to recognize the contact sleeve, and a preferably as a tear-off screw trained screw 8, which in the peripheral wall of the contact sleeve 5th can be screwed in, as a result of which the energy cable is securely fixed in the contact sleeve. When using normal screws, it is important that the screw head is complete is sunk into the peripheral wall of the contact sleeve 5, otherwise a Inserting the contact sleeve 5 into a cavity 3 of the socket 2 is not possible.

To also conductors with a smaller conductor cross-section and any geometrical To be able to securely fix the cross-sectional shape in the contact sleeve 5, it is also possible as indicated by the screw holes in Figure 3, several screws to arrange different places on the circumference of the contact sleeve. It is an advantage if the screws are from different angles, but still a main direction to be pressed on the power cable.

In Figure 4 is a cross section of the contact sleeve 5 of Figure 3 when using a Tear-off screw 8 shown. The boundary walls of the interior 14 of the Contact sleeve 5 can with better fixation of the inserted power cable be provided with an internal groove.

If the power cable is inserted into the interior 14, the tear-off head screw turned until a predetermined torque is exceeded, and the head of the screw is severed at a predetermined breaking point 15. In connection then the contact sleeve 5 is inserted into the cavity 3 of the socket 2, until its front end abuts the central web 13 of the socket 2. In this Position, the spring ring 9 expands into the notch 12 and fixes the contact sleeve 5 in the socket 2. Thus, the tear-off screw 8, contact sleeve 5, the Contact strips 6 and the electrically conductive socket 2 a secure conductive connection made between two power cables, without additional tools to have to use.

The exact location of the contact strips, the locking device and the type of used Tear-off screw can vary depending on the intended use to get voted.
