Eine bevorzugte wirksame Maßnahme zur langfristigen Aufrechterhaltung des Reibwertes wird nach einem weiteren Vorschlag dadurch erreicht, dass die Oberfläche der Transportmittel mit einer Papierbestandteile (Papierstaub, Kreide und andere Füllstoffe) abweisenden Schutzschichtversiegelung versehen ist.
Um durch eine extrem dünne Beschichtung einerseits die grobe Oberflächenstruktur der Fördermittel beizubehalten und andererseits eine Ablagerungen verhindernde und abweisende Beschaffenheit der Oberfläche zu erreichen, wird nach einem weiteren Vorschlag eine die Vertiefungen (Poren) in der Oberflächenstruktur der Transportmittel verschließende, elastische und eine gute Haftung auf dem Untergrund aufweisende Schutzschichtversiegelung bevorzugt. Auf diese Weise wird mit Hilfe einer extrem dünnen Beschichtung eine optimale Wirkung erzielt.
Es ist weiterhin vorgesehen, dass die Schutzschichtversiegelung eine für die deutsche Tabakverordnung verbindliche Norm erfüllt.
Eine die genannten Forderungen erfüllende Beschichtung besteht nach einem weiteren Vorschlag darin, dass die Schutzschichtversiegelung aus Polyvinylacetat (PVAC) besteht. Eine alternative bevorzugte Beschichtung besteht nach einem weiteren Vorschlag darin, dass die Schutzschichtversiegelung aus einer Acrylatdispersion besteht, mit den zusätzlichen Vorteilen, dass sie eine bessere Haftung auf dem Trägermaterial aufweist, wasserunlöslich ist und einen einstellbaren Reibwert möglich macht.

Ein weiteres denkbares Anwendungsbeispiel besteht vorschlagsgemäß darin, dass die Transportmittel aus eine Kautschukoberfläche aufweisenden, insbesondere aus paarweise gegenüberliegenden, stabförmige Gegenstände durch kraftschlüssiges Erfassen handhabenden Funktionsbändern bestehen. In diesem Umfang sind die vorgeschlagenen Maßnahmen gemäß einer Weiterbildung besonders wirksam, wenn die mit unterschiedlichen Geschwindigkeiten ihrer benachbarten Trume vorbewegten Funktionsbänder einen Rollkanal zum Umhüllen und Verbinden von stirnseitig aneinandergefügten stabförmigen Gegenständen begrenzen.
Eine in Verbindung mit einem derartigen Rollkanal bevorzugte Ausgestaltung besteht darin, dass das mit einer geringeren Geschwindigkeit umlaufende, mit einem höheren Reibwert ausgestattete Funktionsband mit der Beschichtung versehen ist, so dass über eine definierte Förderstrecke eine schlupffreie einfache oder mehrfache Überrollung der Artikel möglich ist.

In the area of position 6, the cigarette-filter-cigarette groups 2 are transferred to a feed drum 7. The feed drum 7 rotates with the direction of rotation 9 opposite to the direction of rotation 8 of the supply drum 1. The two drums 1 and 7 run around axes of rotation arranged in parallel.
The feed drum 7 has webs 12 spaced apart from one another on its circumference 11. The webs 12 are arranged at regular intervals and run parallel to the axis of rotation of the feed drum 7. In the area of the webs 12, vacuum channels (not shown) open, with the aid of which the cigarette-filter-cigarette groups 2 are held on the webs 12.
In the area of the position 6, the radial distance between the supply drum 1 and the feed drum 7 is set such that the cigarette-filter-cigarette group 2, which is located at this position 6, from a web 12, which is located at this point , can be taken from the trough 4. In this way, the cigarette-filter-cigarette groups 4 which have been taken over are held by the negative pressure present on the webs 12 of the feed drum 7. Further vacuum channels (not shown) in the feed drum 7 hold the leaflets 3 attached to the cigarette-filter-cigarette groups 2 on the circumference of the feed drum 7.
The cigarette-filter-cigarette groups 2 to be wrapped are then transferred to a position A, at which they are brought into contact with a first roller belt 13, which also rotates on the feed drum 7. Also at said position A, the cigarette-filter-cigarette group 2 simultaneously comes into contact with a second roller belt 14, which has an irregularly structured surface in a non-recognizable manner with a relatively thin protective layer seal that only seals the pores of the rubber surface of the roller belt 14 is provided, whereby on the one hand the roughness which ensures a defined coefficient of friction and on the other hand a property which repels dust deposits are obtained from the rubber surface. The first roller belt 13 rotates at the peripheral speed 9 of the feed drum 7. The second roller belt 14 rotates at a speed 17 which is lower than the speed 16 of the first roller belt 13. A rolling channel 18 thus begins in the area of position A. Due to the higher speed 16 of the first rolling belt 13 compared to the speed 17 of the second rolling belt 14, the cigarette-filter-cigarette groups 2 are rolled over with the leaflet 3 in the rolling channel 18. The number of rewindings of the cigarette-filter-cigarette groups 2 in the roller channel 18 depends on the difference in the speeds 16 and 17 of the roller belts 13 and 14, respectively. By changing the speed 16 of the roller conveyor 13, the number of rewindings of the cigarette-filter-cigarette groups 2 in the roller channel 18 can be changed. The first roller belt 13 and the second roller belt 14 have conveying directions in the same direction in the region of the roller channel 18.
At the end of the rolling channel 18, at the position marked B in the drawing, the cigarette-filter-cigarette groups 2 leave the rolling channel 18. At this point, the cigarette-filter-cigarette groups 2 are taken over by a removal drum 19. The discharge drum 19 also has webs 21 arranged on the circumference. The discharge drum 19 rotates clockwise at a peripheral speed 22, in the same direction as the feed drum 7. The speed 22 of the conveying drum 19 is lower than the conveying speed 16 of the first roller belt 13. Thus, the cigarette-filter-cigarette groups 2 leaving the rolling channel 18 at position B are separated from the first roller belt 13 by those serving as receptacles on the conveying drum 19 Bars 23 pressed.
