Abstract

A single body A-B is provided forming the centrifugal pump spiral having in its lower part a hydraulic collector A which is expanding in the upper part, back to the spiral, in a coaxial air-separator filter wet well B. Said hydraulic collector A is formed by water input channelling with inlets (1a and 4a) with only one connection way and inlets (2a and 3a) to be reversible. The water from the different inlets coming in the collector A, goes to canalized to the wet well B in upper position with its inside space longitudinally divided by an air separator-filter (1b) and transversally by a separator element (2b). The mixture water/air inside the wet well B is divided such the water for induced intake from the centrifugal impeller C, crosses the filter (1b), arrives in the spiral through the conduit (3b) and goes out from the inlet/outlet conduit (4b) while the air comes to flow in the upper part (5b) with bigger volume to then goes out from the thermal relief (6b).

Description

  • The invented apparatus refers to a new change into the centrifugal pump spiral in particular to be used inside the suspended boilers for the indipendent heating of rooms and for the sanitary hot water production, both for inside than outside use. The new apparatus integrates into a single body, to be actuated by molding, injection, fusion, forming the pump spiral in its conventional winding form, a two-sided header so to indifferently made a quick link both from the left side than from right one of the multiworking hydraulic groups and a air separator-filter wet well, coaxial with the pump vertical axis, to be actuated to have a high capacity of harvest and separation of the air contained into the heating plants and to be shaped, re-entering in its lower part, to contain the depth encumbrance. The invented apparatus permits to the wall boiler makers to have available a single body equipped also with the pump motor and comprising the automatic floating valve and the safety valve against the overpressures. It realizes: a) an encumbrance reduction thanks to the high integration with consequent an encumbrance dimension compaction of the same boilers; b) a reduction both of the production costs, being provided the use of composite (engineering resins) alternatively to the conventional materials than of the operating costs actuating a considerable reduction of the electric use; c) a high integration of the operations with better performances; d) an improvement of the operating silence. In a particular embodiment the invented apparatus also integrates in the spiral a conveyor element that avoids the water recirculation on the centrifuge impeller so permitting the same performance having a pump with a less power motor. Said flow conveyor element is obtained inside the spiral, adjacent to the outside diameter of the centrifuge impeller and in joint with the pump exhaust duct. Currently the spirals of the centrifugal pump used in the wall boilers when they integrate an air separator it is usually off-line in comparison with the vertical axis of the pump and moreover they have a single hydraulic entrance connection so needing to have the additional elements to have the function of hydraulic interfaces. Moreover in some embodiments is provided the integration of a three-way valve. The above cited situation determines an increasing of the production costs, makes more difficult the ordinary operational maintenance and bars the possibility to compact within bounds the dimension of the boilers for the inevitable bigger encumbrance due to the low integration of the part in a single block. Moreover the air separator placed in off-line position in comparison with the vertical axis of the pump entrance/exhaust connections has a working less efficient in comparison with the coaxial position for the inevitable tortuosites of the water way that do not favour but they disturb the separation and the harvest of the air into the outlet well. While the pump spirals that integrated the three way deviating valve are disadvantageous from the cost point of view and of the encumbrances, of course bigger, in the use for the wall boilers for the only rooms heating. Moreover currently in some cases it is necessary to provide the strengthening of the motors which move the centrifugal spiral to improve the hydraulic performances. This necessity is avoided using the invented apparatus in the embodiment with flow conveyor element. The invented apparatus consists of a single body A-B forming the centrifugal pump spiral having in its lower part the hydraulic collector A which is expanding, in the upper part, back to the spiral, in a coaxial air-separator filter wet well B. Said hydraulic collector A is formed by water input channelling with inlets 1a, 2a, 3a and 4a of which the inlets 1a and 4a with only one connection way while the inlets 2a and 3a to be reversible so to be connected on one of the two sides on the base of the plant necessities. The water, coming in the collector A from the different inlets, goes to canalized to the wet well B to be provided in the upper position where the inside space is longitudinally divided by a air separator-filter 1b and transversally by a separator element 2b. The mixture water/air, coming into the wet well B, is divided such the water for induced intake from the centrifugal impeller C, crosses the filter 1b, arrives in the spiral through the conduit 3b and goes out from the inlet/outlet conduit 4b while the air comes to flow in the upper part 5b with bigger volume to then goes out from the thermal relief 6b located inside the wet well 5b. In a particular embodiment the spiral 7b is provided with a conveyor element 8b having necessary dimension and to be placed near the outside diameter of the centrifugal impeller beginning to the inizial point 9b so avoiding the water recirculation. The invented apparatus is illustated in indicative way in the drawings of sheets 1, 2, 3 and 4 where sheets 1, 2 and 3 show the basic version of the apparatus while sheet 4 shows the apparatus where the spiral 7b is provided with the conveyor element 8b. In sheet 1 fig. 1 is overall side view of the apparatus A-B with underlying the hydraulic collector and in the upper part the air separator-filter wet well. Fig. 2 is frontal view of the same overall apparatus A-B with the centrifugal impeller C and with direction arrows from the inlet conduit 3b to the outlet conduit 4b. In sheet 2 fig. 3 is longitudinal secion view B-B of the wet well upper part. Fig. 4 is transversal section view A-A. In sheet 3 fig. 5 is perspective view of the overall apparatus A-B. In sheet 4 fig. 6 is frontal view in the version with the conveyor element 8b. The fig. 7 is perspective view of the overall apparatus A-B in the version with the conveyor element 8b.
