Claims (10)

  1. A packaging unit with a receiving chamber for popcorn or the like and with a pocket (12) disposed externally on the receiving chamber (21), in which a beverage cup (20) is inserted, wherein the receiving chamber (21) and the pocket (12) are formed from a one-piece blank, the blank consisting of a number of side portions (2) of the receiving chamber (21) and a number of side portions (11) of the pocket (12) connected thereto and the innermost side portion (2), in the blank, of the receiving chamber (21) merging into the innermost side portion (11) of the pocket (12) and the outermost side portions (2, 11) of the receiving chamber (21) and of the pocket (12) merging via respective fold lines (4, 14) into fastening lugs (5, 15), characterised in that the fastening lug (5) of the receiving chamber (21) is connected to the inner surface of the first side portion (2), that the fastening lug (15) of the pocket (12) is connected to the outside of the outermost side portion (2) of the receiving chamber (21) such that the outermost side portion (2) of the receiving chamber (21) forms a side portion of the pocket (12) and that the pocket (12) is so dimensioned that the beverage cup (20) is a force-fit in the pocket (12) and can be gripped by a hand of a user for carrying the packaging unit.
  2. A packaging unit as claimed in Claim 1, characterised in that the receiving chamber (21) has a polygonal shape in plan view, preferably a rectangular or square shape, and that the holder (12) is connected in the region of a corner.
  3. A packaging unit as claimed in Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the beverage cup is an upwardly slightly conically broadening cup (20), which may be force-fitted into the holder (12).
  4. A packaging unit as claimed in one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the holder (12) is constituted by side portions (11), which merge into one another via fold lines (13).
  5. A packaging unit as claimed in Claim 4, characterised in that the fold lines (13) extend parallel to one another.
  6. A packaging unit as claimed in Claim 4 or 5, characterised in that three side portions (11) are provided which have the same width.
  7. A packaging unit as claimed in one of Claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the lower edges (16) of the side portions (11) of the holder (12) are aligned with one another.
  8. A packaging unit as claimed in one of Claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the lower edges (16) of the side portions (11) of the holder (12) are aligned with the bottom edges of the receiving chamber (21).
  9. A packaging unit as claimed in one of Claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the holder (12) has a smaller height than the receiving chamber (21).
  10. A packaging unit as claimed in one of Claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the upper edges (19) of the side portions (11) of the holder (12) have such a curved shape that the corner regions have the greatest height.
