Abstract

The invention relates to a label (35) provided with a cover layer (14), a carrier web (11) and a leaflet (30) which is accommodated between the cover layer (14) and carrier web (11). The side regions (20, 21) of the cover layer (14) are releasably joined to the carrier web (11). The leaflet (30) is non-adhesively or weakly adhesively joined to the carrier web (11). After the carrier web (11) has been released, the label according to the invention can advantageously be stuck to a cylindrical base via the side regions (20, 21) without undesirable stresses occurring in the label. After a tear strip (26) has been detached, the leaflet can be removed and, after removal of a strip of release material (39'), the cover layer can be stuck back onto the base.
