Abstract

Es wird eine Vorrichtung zur Diagnose einer fremdgezündeten Brennkraftmaschine vorgeschlagen. Die zur Entflammung eines in einen Zylinder der Brennkraftmaschine eingespritzen Kraftstoffs vorgesehene Zündkerze ist über eine potenzialtrennende Entkopplung (20) mit der Sekundärwicklung (14) der Zündspule (12) verbunden. Die an der Zündkerze (11) liegende Spannung (UZ) wird von einem Komparator (30) mit einem Schwellenwert (US) verglichen. Das Schaltsignal (UK) des Komparators (30) ist gewertet als ein Signal, das anzeigt, daß Kraftstoff nach dem Einspritzvorgang die Zündkerze (11) erreicht hat. Durch einen Vergleich mit bekannten Sollpositionen bezogen auf den Kurbelwellenwinkel oder bezogen auf Kurbelwellenwinkelbereiche ist eine Diganose möglich.

A device for diagnosing a spark-ignited internal combustion engine is proposed. The spark plug provided for igniting a fuel injected into a cylinder of the internal combustion engine is connected to the secondary winding (14) of the ignition coil (12) via a potential-separating decoupling (20). The voltage (UZ) applied to the spark plug (11) is compared by a comparator (30) with a threshold value (US). The switching signal (UK) of the comparator (30) is counted as a signal indicating that fuel has reached the spark plug (11) after the injection process. By comparison with known nominal positions with respect to the crankshaft angle or with respect to crankshaft angle ranges, a diganose is possible.
