In the subject matter of the invention, however, the feet do not need to be loaded or relieved, but rather are only moved in the horizontal direction, as a result of which the massage rollers are rotated and the eccentrically mounted ones exert the stroke provided for their eccentricity on the sole of the foot. Die Fußauflagen 3, von denen in Figur 1 eine Fußauflage 3 der Einlage 1 dargestellt ist, dienen zum Aufsetzen jeweils eines Fußes einer das Fußbad nutzenden Person. Die Fußauflage 3 ist ausgebildet als plattenartiges Trägerelement, das sich über einen umlaufenden Rand am Boden der Wanne des Fußbades abstützt. Die Oberseite der Fußauflage 3 befindet sich somit in einem Abstand zum Boden der Wanne. Die durch die Steckachsen 5, 6 gebildete Drehachse ist in Figur 2 mit dem Bezugszeichen 8 gekennzeichnet. Bei dem in den Figuren dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel ist die Drehachse parallel zum Wannenboden und somit horizontal verlaufend angeordnet. Dadurch wird erreicht, daß die zum massieren wirksame Oberfläche der Massagerollen bei ihrer Drehung insgesamt eine Auf und Ab-Bewegung ausübt.The footrest 3 has a multiplicity of individual massage rollers M which are rotatably mounted in the footrest 3. Zur Verschließbarkeit der Steckachsenaufnahme 10 dient ein Schnapphaken 11, der die in die Steckachsenaufnahme 10 eingesetzte Steckachse 5 teilweise umgreift. Der Schnapphaken 11 ist rastend an der Fußauflage 3 festlegbar, so daß in der geschlossenen Stellung des Schnapphakens 11 die Massagerolle M sicher in einer Massagerollenaufnahme fixiert ist. Teil einer solchen Massagerollenaufnahme ist ebenfalls ein den Rollenkörper 7 einer Massagerolle M unterseitig umschließender Bügel 12, der insbesondere dazu dient, daß bei einer Belastung der Einlage 1 eine freie Drehbarkeit der Massagerolle M nicht dadurch beeinträchtigt ist, daß diese an den Boden der Wanne gedrückt werden.The quick-release axles 5, 6 of the massage roller M each engage in a quick-release axle receptacle 9, 10 of the footrest 3 and are rotatably held therein. Claims (5)

  1. Footbath comprising a tub and an insert which is situated in the tub, having at least one foot support (3) supported on the base side, upon the upper side of which foot support the feet of a person using the footbath can be placed and are held at a spacing from the base of the tub of the footbath, a multiplicity of individual massage rollers (M), which project from the surface of the foot support (3) and are distributed over the surface area of the foot support (3), being mounted in the foot support (3), characterised in that the massage rollers have a spherical appearance, the axes of rotation (4) of at least some of the massage rollers (M) being disposed eccentrically, so that the upper edge of these rollers (M) is situated respectively at different heights relative to the surface of the foot support (3) during a rotation.

Foot bath according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that each eccentrically mounted massage roller (M) has two floating axles (5, 6) which are disposed oppositely situated, are moulded on and define the axis of rotation (4) of the roller (M), which floating axles are mounted in floating axle receiving means (9, 10) associated with the foot support (3).
  4. Footbath according to claim 3, characterised in that one of the two floating axle receiving means (10) of the foot support (3) which are associated with a massage roller (M) can be locked.
  5. Footbath according to claim 4, characterised in that, for lockability of a floating axle receiving means (10), the foot support (3) comprises a snap-in hook (11) which, in the closed state of the floating axle receiving means (10), partially encompasses the floating axle (5) which is inserted in this floating axle receiving means (10) and is fixed locked in its closed position.
