Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Darstellung von Verkehrsinformation.The invention relates to a method and a device for displaying traffic information.
Aus der WO 96/ 11380 ist ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Zielführungsunterstützung eines Fahrzeugführers zur Erreichung einer Zielposition mit einem Fahrzeug bekannt, bei dem die aktuelle Ortsposition ermittelt, eine Fahrtroute bestimmt und für diese Fahrtroute aktuelle Fahrhinweise von einem außerhalb des Fahrzeugs angeordneten Verkehrsrechner eingeholt und dem Fahrer angezeigt werden, wobei die Zielposition selbsttätig nach Wahrscheinlichkeitsgesichtspunkten anhand eines Vergleichs gespeicherter Fahrinformationen aus der Vergangenheit mit aktuellen Fahrinformationen abgeleitet wird. Angezeigt werden die Fahrhinweise dem Fahrzeugführer durch eine im Fahrzeug installierte Anzeigeeinrichtung. Durch diese Zielführungsunterstützungsvorrichtung wird sichergestellt, daß der Fahrzeugführer auch bei Routinefahrten, bei denen in der Regel keine Angabe der Zielposition durch den Fahrzeugführer erfolgt, bei Auftreten von Staus usw. Fahrhinweise für diese Fahrtroute erhält. Hierzu werden die Verkehrsinformationen durch eine Einrichtung zum Empfang von Verkehrsinformation erfaßt und auf ihre Relevanz hin untersucht, wozu mittels der Einrichtung zur Positionserfassung die aktuelle Position und Fahrtrichtung des Kraftfahrzeugs erfaßt werden. Alternativ kann eine Verkehrsinformation immer dann für relevant eingestuft werden, falls diese eine berechnete Route eines Navigationssystems tangiert. Wird nun eine Verkehrsinformation als relevant eingestuft, so wird diese in Form eines Piktogramms auf einer Anzeigeneinheit dargestellt.
Zusätzlich können alphanumerische Angaben ergänzend zu dem Piktogramm dargestellt werden. Hierbei kommen insbesondere Uhrzeit der Verkehrsinformationen und/ oder genaue Orfsbezeichnungen und/ oder andere Detailinformationen wie beispielsweise Staulänge, Beschreibung einer Gefahrenstelle und ähnliches in Betracht.For this purpose, the traffic information is recorded by a device for receiving traffic information and examined for its relevance, for which purpose the current position and direction of travel of the motor vehicle are recorded by means of the device for position detection. In der Figur 1 ist eine beispielhafte Darstellung einer Verkehrsinformation auf einer Anzeigeeinheit 1 dargestellt, die von einer Einrichtung zum Empfang von Verkehrsinformationen erfaßt wurde und aufgrund einer berechneten Route eines Navigationssystems für relevant eingestuft wurde. Die Darstellung umfaßt ein Piktogramm 2, dem Piktogramm 2 zugeordnete alphanumerische Informationen 3 und eine Ausweichmöglichkeit 4. Das Piktogramm 2 umfaßt eine stilisierte Autobahn mit zwei Abfahrten, zwischen denen das Verkehrszeichen „Stau" angeordnet ist. Die alphanumerische Information 3 umfaßt die Uhrzeit der Verkehrsinformationen, die Bezeichnung der Straße, Ortsbezeichnungen und Detailinformationen, hier die Länge des Staus. Aus dem Piktogramm 2 mit den entsprechenden alphanumerischen Informationen 3 entnimmt der Kraftfahrzeugführer somit, daß auf der A7 von Hamburg nach Hannover zwischen Hannover Ost und Großburgwe. ein 15 km langer Stau ist. Zusätzlich erhält der Kraftfahrzeugführer über die Ausweichmögiichkeit 4 die Information, wie er den Stau umfahren kann. Die Ausweichmöglichkeit 4 umfaßt einen piktogrammförmigen Fahrtrichtungsanzeiger und eine alphanumerische Zusatzinformation, was prinzipiell für Fahrtrichtungsanzeigen in Navigationssystemen bekannt ist. Der Kraftfahrzeugführer erhält somit die Information, daß dieser in 3 km von der Autobahn abfahren muß, um den Stau zu umfahren.

Claims
1. Vorrichtung zur Darstellung von Verkehrsinformationen, umfassend eine Anzeigeeinheit (1), einen den Bildaufbau der Anzeigeeinheit (1) ansteuernden Prozessor, eine Einrichtung zum Empfang von Verkehrsinformationen und eine Einrichtung zur Positionserfassung, wobei die empfangenen Verkehrsinformationen piktogrammförmig auf der Anzeigeeinheit (1) darstellbar sind.1.
