Abstract

The circuit breaking mechanism has fixed contacts, an engagement shaft (300) and moving contacts (400). The moving contacts have two parallel knife sections (420,440). Flexible contact is formed by a flexible grip (500) on the contact arms whilst maintaining mechanical decoupling. Moving the engagement shaft closes the knife section onto the fixed contact.

Le document US 5 969 308 décrit un dispositif selon le préambule de la revendication 1.More specifically, as described for example in the document EP 0 485 306 , in devices of this type used today, the movable contacts 40 are generally formed of a clamp consisting of two parallel knives 42, 44, urged closer by spring blades 46, 48 whose middle part is supported on the drive shaft 30, while its ends rest on the knives 42, 44 near their ends. The document US 5,969,308 describes a device according to the preamble of claim 1.

The present invention now aims to improve the existing known devices.

This object is achieved within the scope of the present invention by means of an electrical breaking device of the type defined in appended claim 1.

  • l'arbre d'entraînement porte plusieurs jeux, par exemple au moins trois jeux, voire quatre, de contacts mobiles, qui coopèrent respectivement avec une paire de contacts fixes ;
  • chaque ensemble de sollicitation élastique est lui-même formé de deux ressorts ayant globalement la forme d'un W ;
  • chaque ressort en W comprend des éléments d'extrémité en C qui entourent partiellement un élément de couteau mobile, pour interdire la séparation des couteaux ;
  • chaque ressort en W comprend un élément central en V élastique ;
  • les moyens de sollicitation élastique sont placés au moins partiellement dans des renfoncements formés sur les couteaux mobiles, pour interdire un déplacement entre ces moyens de sollicitation et les couteaux, dans le sens longitudinal de ces derniers ;
  • chaque couteau est formé de deux lamelles globalement parallèles reliées entre elles par un pont de matière ;
  • les deux ensembles de sollicitation élastique associés à chaque jeu de contacts mobiles sont disposés respectivement de part et d'autre d'un élément de l'arbre ;

The electric breaking device according to the present invention is placed in a housing not shown in the accompanying figures to simplify the illustration.

This housing can be the object of any appropriate embodiment as to its geometry and its constituent material.

Le dispositif de coupure conforme à la présente invention comprend un arbre 300 monté à rotation autour de son axe longitudinal 302.The cut-off device according to the present invention comprises a shaft 300 rotatably mounted about its longitudinal axis 302.

The shaft 300 is advantageously made of electrically insulating thermoplastic material.

The shaft 300 can in itself be the subject of many variants. Its structure will not be described in detail later.

The shaft 300 can be rotated about the axis 302, manually or by any appropriate automation. The drive means of the shaft 300, known in themselves, will not be described later.

The shaft 300 carries at least one set of movable contacts 400 intended to cooperate with at least two fixed contacts supported by the inner surface of the housing.

The fixed contacts may be known in themselves, for example of the type illustrated in FIG. figure 1 under the reference 20. They will therefore not be described in detail later.

In practice, the shaft 300 preferably carries at least three sets of movable contacts 400 distributed axially along its length (two such sets of movable contacts 400 are thus schematically illustrated on the figure 7 ).

According to another variant, the shaft 300 carries four sets of movable contacts 400, especially in the case of two-phase systems.

The two knives 420, 440 are of identical structure and arranged symmetrically one facing each other.

More precisely, preferably, as we see on the Figures 5, 6 and 7 each knife 420 and 440 is perforated longitudinally at each end. In other words, each knife 420, 440 is provided with two longitudinal notches 421, 422, 441, 442 which open on their longitudinal ends.

Thus, each knife 420, 440 consists of two parallel blades 423, 424, 443, 444 interconnected in the middle part by a bridge 425, 445.

The knives 420, 440 are made of an electrically conductive material. It is preferably a relatively rigid metal, such as silver copper.

As we see on the figure 7 in use, the knives 420 and 440 are arranged in a generally radial orientation relative to the axis 302 of the shaft 300. More specifically, the knives 420, 440 are disposed in cavities 310, 320 formed in the shaft 300. Thus, the knives 420, 440 through the shaft 300 and emerge on either side thereof to cooperate with the fixed contacts 20. More precisely, as seen on the figure 8 , the two knives 420, 440 are respectively disposed in a cavity 310, 320 passing through the shaft 300 in a radial direction.

The two cavities 310, 320 are thus separated by an intermediate element or radial membrane 330 which serves to support the knife 420, 440 in the open position of the cut-off device. The membrane 330 may itself be perforated.

Of course, the axial dimension of the cavities 310, 320, that is to say the dimension of these cavities considered parallel to the axis 302 must be greater than the thickness of the knives 420, 440 to allow a movement of these in the cavities 310, 320 when the cut-off device is moved from the closed position to the open position or vice versa.

In the context of the present invention, the elastic means 500 consist of two springs 510, generally W-shaped, respectively disposed on each end of the knives 420, 440.

Ainsi, en d'autres termes, chaque paire de couteaux 420, 440 est associée à quatre ressorts 510 en forme de W.Thus, in other words, each pair of knives 420, 440 is associated with four springs 510 W-shaped.

More precisely, as can be seen in particular in Figures 3 and 4 each spring 510 has a V-shaped median portion 512 extended respectively on either side by two ends 514, 516 in the general shape of C.

The springs 510 thus have a constant section over their entire length.

The median portion 512 V-shaped gives each spring 510 an elastic effect.

The ends C 514, 516 have the function of at least partially surrounding a respective blade 423, 424, 443, 444 of a knife 420, 440 as seen on the figure 3 .

Ainsi, les ressorts 510 interdisent un libre écartement des couteaux 420, 440.Thus, the springs 510 prohibit free spacing of the knives 420, 440.

More precisely, preferably, according to the invention, each spring 510 is disposed at least partially in a recess or recess 402 formed in each blade 423, 424, 443, 444 (such a recess 402 is visible for example on the figure 6 ). Thus, the engagement of the springs 510 in the recess 402 prohibits a relative longitudinal shift between the spring 510 and the associated knife 420 or 440.

Par ailleurs, deux ensembles de ressorts 510 étant disposés respectivement de part et d'autre de la membrane 330 de l'arbre 300, l'homme de l'art comprendra que les ressorts 510 interdisent également un déplacement relatif entre les couteaux 420, 440 et l'arbre 300 dans un sens radial par rapport à l'axe 302 de l'arbre 300.Furthermore, two sets of springs 510 being disposed respectively on either side of the membrane 330 of the shaft 300, the skilled person will understand that the springs 510 also prohibit a relative movement between the knives 420, 440 and the shaft 300 in a radial direction relative to the axis 302 of the shaft 300.

Celui-ci définit une concavité dirigée vers l'extérieur du W.More precisely still, according to the preferred embodiment illustrated in the appended figures, each spring 510 comprises two coplanar planar sections 520, 522 interconnected by two ribs 524, 526 forming the above-mentioned elastic V 512. This defines a concavity directed towards the outside of W.

Les retours 529, 531 sont dirigés l'un vers l'autre, soit vers l'intérieur du W.The two base sections 520, 522 are further extended respectively by two sections 528, 530 parallel to each other and respectively perpendicular to the base sections 520, 522. sections 528, 530 delimit the ends of the spring W. Finally, these two end sections 528, 530 are themselves extended by returns 529, 531 parallel to the base section 520, 522 and perpendicular to the sections 528, 530. The returns 529, 531 are directed towards each other, towards the inside of the W.

La largeur des tronçons 528, 530 est supérieure à la largeur de chaque lame 421, 423, 441, 443, comme on le voit sur la figure 3.The width of the sections 528, 530 is greater than the width of each blade 421, 423, 441, 443, as can be seen in FIG. figure 3 .

In use, the V 512 is disposed between the two knives 420, 440, the base walls 520, 522 being oriented parallel to the axis 302 facing the intermediate wall 330 of the shaft.

The base sections 520, 522 are thus arranged on the outside of the knives 420, 440, the returns 529, 531 penetrating into the longitudinal notches 421, 422, 441, 442.

Enfin, les tronçons d'extrémité 528, 530 sont positionnés dans les décrochements 402, lesquels sont formés, comme on le voit sur les figures annexées, sur les surfaces extérieures des couteaux 420, 440.Finally, the end sections 528, 530 are positioned in the recesses 402, which are formed, as shown in the accompanying figures, on the outer surfaces of the knives 420, 440.

In the open position of the cut-off device, that is to say when the knives 420, 440 are separated from the fixed contacts 20, the knives 420, 440 rest on the intermediate element 330 under the effect of the loading of the springs 510.

On the contrary, when the shaft 300 is moved in the closed position by rotation about its axis 302, the fixed contacts 20 are positioned between the two knives 420, 440, the latter being always elastically biased against the fixed contacts 20 by the springs. 510.

In this closed position, the knives 420, 440, as well as the springs 510 are in principle mechanically separated, that is to say mechanically decoupled from the shaft 300, thanks to the clearance between the knives 420, 440 and the blades. cavities 310, 320 and the axial thickness of the membrane 330 less than the thickness of the fixed contacts 20. Thus, in the In the context of the present invention, any transmission of mechanical vibration between the sets of movable contacts 400 and the shaft 300 and, by the same token, of a set of movable contacts 400 to the other via the shaft is eliminated. 300.

On a schématisé sur la figure 7 un arbre 300 équipé de deux ensembles de contacts mobiles 400.We have schematised on the figure 7 a shaft 300 equipped with two sets of movable contacts 400.

In practice, preferably, each shaft 300 is equipped with at least three sets of movable contacts 400 for respectively cutting one of the phases of a three-phase system.

More specifically, the shaft 300 may be equipped with a fourth set of movable contacts 400 to cut the ground line as indicated above.

The springs 510 may be made of any suitable elastic material, preferably of metal, for example based on beryllium bronze.

Of course, the present invention is not limited to the particular embodiment which has just been described but extends to any variant within its spirit.

Thus, for example, the present invention can notably be used in cut-off devices in which the drive shaft 300 is not rotatably mounted, but in translation.

In practice, however, the invention can also find application in cut-off devices in which each set of mobile contacts 400 cooperates with a single fixed contact 20.

The present invention may find application in any type of switch, disconnector, in particular for the high and / or low voltage cutoff, in particular for an underground cutoff device. However the present invention is not limited to this field and also covers air cutoff devices.

La présente invention permet notamment d'obtenir des performances importantes lors de fermetures sur court-circuitThe present invention notably makes it possible to obtain high performances during closures on a short circuit
