Abstract

Eine gefaltete Microstrip-Antenne wird bei Fluggeräten oder Flugzeugen um die Kanten dünner Strukturteile wie Tragflächen, Leitwerken oder Ruderklappen so angeordnet, dass die Oberfläche mit der Struktur identisch ist und die Faltung an der Kante der Struktur erfolgt, wobei die Antenne so ausgebildet wird, dass der Wellenwiderstand an der Faltkante viel höher als an den kantenfernen Enden der Strukturantenne ist, wodurch letztlich eine angenäherte Rundstrahlcharakteristik erzielbar ist.
