Abstract
Zur Fertigung von Bimetallmünzen wird häufig ein Kern (5) in einen Ring (3) eingelegt und diese werden dann zusammen verpresst und ggfs. geprägt. Auch wenn der Kern (5) und der Ring (3) nur gefügt werden sollen, die Prägung aber woanders stattfindet, ist für das Fügen (7) zur zeitweiligen Fixierung eine Prägemaschine mit relativ hohem apparativem Aufwand erforderlich. Die Erfindung hilft hier ab, indem in dem Vorfügeprozess ein- oder mehrere Laserschweißpunkte (29a,29b,29c,29d) oder gar eine durchgezogene Naht erzeugt werden. Das Ziel dieser Verbindung ist zunächst, nur den Kern (5) und den Ring (3) so lange zusammenzuhalten, bis diese nach einem Sortierprozess in die Prägepresse vereinzelt werden. Werden die Kerne nur in die Ringe gepunktet, können sehr hohe Taktzahlen von über 700 Stück/min erreicht werden. Der Laserkopf muss nicht verfahren werden.
