Claims (19)

  1. Seating/ reclining furniture comprising a base part (11) and an extension part (14) which is movable relative to the base part (11) between a base position and an extended position and
    - is supported at the base part (11) in the base position;
    - has at least one upper part (24) and at least one lower part (27);
    - is guided at the base part (11) in accordance with a preset height profile (17) such that it is raised as a whole on being extended;
    - has a support fitting (21, 22, 23) which can be moved out from a retracted rest position into a support position, when the extension part (14) is raised, such that the support fitting (21, 22, 23) takes over the support of the extension part (14);
    and wherein
    - the upper part (24) and the lower part (27) are arranged over one another in the base position and are movable up to and into the extended position in this arrangement over one another,
    - the upper part (24) is movable relative to the lower part (27) between a sitting position and a reclining position in the extended position;
    - the upper part (24) forms a seat area (30) in the sitting position and forms at least a part of a reclining area (33) together with the lower part (27) in the reclining position; and the seat area (30) and the reclining area (33) are at least substantially at the same level.
  2.   4. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the support fitting (21, 22, 23) can automatically be moved outward and inward on the extending and pushing in of the extension part (14) by mechanical cooperation with the base part (11).
  5. Seating/ reclining furniture in accordance with any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the support fitting has at least one control lever (21) which is hinged to the extension part (14), cooperates with the base part (11) and is pivotable via the at least one support lever (22) of the support fitting hinged to the extension part (14).
  6. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with claim 5, characterised in that the control lever (21) is simultaneously made as a further support lever.
  7. Seating/ reclining furniture in accordance with any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the control lever (21) is pivotable relative to the extension part (14) on extension.
  8. Seating/ reclining furniture in accordance with any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the support lever (22) and the control lever (21) are coupled to one another by at least one rigid connection element (23) which is in particular bar-like or strut-like.
  9. Seating/ reclining furniture in accordance with any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the control lever (21) and the support lever (22) are coupled to one another such that they can only be pivoted together and with an opposite sense of rotation.
  10. Seating/ reclining furniture in accordance with any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the height profile (17) is matched to the pivot movement of the control lever (21) on extension.
  11. Seating/ reclining furniture in accordance with any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the control lever (21) is supported with a support section (39) at the base part (11) up to a specific extended distance of the extension part (14), with the support section (39) being substantially prevented from making a translatory movement at least in the extension direction.
  12. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with claim 11, characterised in that the support section (39) is made at the free end of a support arm (40) projecting from the control lever (21).
  13. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with claim 11 or claim 12, characterised in that the base part (11) has a support receiver (42) for the support section (39) which is open in the extension direction and which is in particular bounded by two receiving elements spaced apart vertically and preferably of plate shape.
  14. Seating/ reclining furniture in accordance with any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the support fitting (21, 22, 23) is biased into the support position, in particular by means of at least one spring (29) arranged between the extension part (14) and the support fitting (21, 22, 23).
  15. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the base part (11) and the extension part (14) are spaced apart in the extension direction in the extended position; and in that an intermediate part (45) is provided which is arranged between the base part (11) and the extension part (14) in the extended position and serves as a support for the upper part (24) of the extension part (14) located in the reclining position.
  16. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with claim 15, characterised in that the intermediate part (45) is guided in a compulsory manner at the extension part (14) and at the base part (11) with its front region and rear region, in particular via guide members (48, 49) which are attached to the intermediate part and which are movable along section rails (51, 52) of the extension part (14) and of the base part (11).
  17. Seating/ reclining furniture in accordance with any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that a head part (54) is provided which is arranged behind a backrest (57) in the base position of the extension part (14) and can be moved into a reclining position to form a head section of the reclining area (33), in particular by a combined pivoting and translation movement with compulsory guidance.
  18. Seating/ reclining furniture in accordance with claim 17, characterised in that the backrest (57) is upwardly pivotal around an approximately horizontal axis (58) extending in its upper region.
  19. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with any one of the claims 1 to 16, characterised in that a backrest (57') can be brought into a reclining position in which the rear side of the backrest (57') forms a head section of the reclining surface (33),with the backrest (57') preferably being downwardly pivotal around an approximately horizontal axis (58') extending in its lower region.
