Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Verbindung des Heizstabes einer Glühkerze mit ihrem Glühkerzenkörper. Hierzu wird eine hydraulische Einpreßvorrichtung eingesetzt, die einen zentrischen Preßsitz zwischen Heizstab und Körper erzeugt. Üblicherweise wird der Heizstab axial von der brennraumseitigen Glühkerzenspitze her in den Glühkerzenkörper eingepreßt. Die hierzu erforderliche axiale Kraft auf die Spitze des Heizstabes ist stark von den Toleranzen der Körperbohrung und des Heizstabdurchmessers sowie der jeweiligen Oberflächenbeschaffenheit abhängig. Da das Vorstehmaß des Heizstabes von dem Glühkerzenkörper ein wesentlicher Parameter der Funktion der Glühkerze im Montage- und Motorbetrieb ist, muß der Einpreßweg während der Montage überwacht werden; durch die hohe Einpreßkraft besteht insbesondere bei dünnen und verhältnismäßig langen Heizstäben die Gefahr einer Beschädigung des Heizstabes durch Ausknicken, Abkippen, Riefenbildung oder Verformung, so daß die Einpreßkraft einen vorbestimmten Maximalwert nicht überschreiten darf.
