Abstract

A heat insulating profile consists of: (a) a primary profiled section (20a, 20b) made of a material with low thermal conductivity, especially plastic; and (b) at least one secondary profiled section (30) composed of a non-combustible material. Each of the primary profiled sections is connected to at least one secondary profiled section in a longitudinal direction. A band extends longitudinally along the profile and joins the primary and secondary sections.
