Description

    OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
  • As expressed in the title of the present specification, the following invention refers to a support plate with a single guide for elevator doors, being of the type of support plates that have guides in order to convey and guide the corresponding carriage having the respective leaf of the door, as well as the operating mechanisms, in such a way that the support plate has a single guide along which the carriages having the corresponding leaf of the door are conveyed and guided. The invention is especially useful for doors with telescopic leaves and with four central leaves.
  • For this purpose, in the case of doors with telescopic leaves, the rapid carriage is comprised of a broken line type plate that has two pairs of wheels in order for it to be conveyed and guided by the guide of the support plate, whereas the slow carriage is comprised of a profile, whose ends have, in an orthogonal position, respective U section shorter profiles, which have respective pairs of wheels in order for it to be conveyed and guided by the guide of the support plate. The rapid carriage is assembled between the end U section profiles having the pair of wheels comprising the slow carriage and between which it moves in the opening and closing of the leaves of the door.
  • Hence, the plate that constitutes the rapid carriage has a broken line type construction defining an intermediate inclined plane that permits the overlapping of the leaves in the positioning and movement thereof.
  • FIELD OF APPLICATION
  • The support plate for mechanisms of elevator doors is especially applicable to be installed in elevator doors with telescopic leaves or with four leaves, which are conveyed and guided by the corresponding carriage that is moved by the guide defined in the support plate itself.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • Conventionally, the support plate that is fastened to the structure itself of the doorframe of the elevator door and that has the operating mechanisms of the doors has two guides so that the corresponding rapid carriage and slow carriage, to which the respective leaf of the door is fastened, are conveyed and guided along these guides.
  • Hence, the guides are defined according to two different vertical planes, the corresponding rapid carriage and slow carriage having the respective leaf of the door, moving along one guide or the other, permitting movement thereof without any problem.
  • With this structure of the support plate wherein two guides are defined, according to two different vertical planes, the structure of the carriages to which the corresponding leaf of the door is integral, is totally straight, given that it is the structure itself of the guides defined in the support plate which marks the different planes of location and movement of the carriages and the corresponding sheet.
  • Likewise, the carriages that have the corresponding leaf are generically defined by a straight profile plate wherein the two pairs of wheels are assembled for the guiding of the carriage by the guide of the support plate, and likewise, different elements such as the overturning prevention device, as well as the blocking lock, which is assembled in the rapid carriage, are mechanized and assembled in the cited plate.
  • On the other hand, support plates with one guide are also known on the market, but these support plates are only useful to be assembled in elevator doors with two central leaves, given that in this case the two carriages that convey the corresponding leaf have differentiated movements, which in no place of the path manage to overlap each other.
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • The following specification describes a support plate with a single guide for elevator doors, being of the type of support plates that mount the operating mechanisms of elevator doors, the leaves being fastened to the corresponding carriage that is conveyed and guided by its respective guide of the support plate. There is a single guide defined in the support plate in order to convey and guide the corresponding rapid carriage and slow carriage. The rapid carriage is defined by a broken line type plate that has an intermediate inclined plane, the leaf being fastened to the plate, in a vertical plane different from the plane of the guide, defined in the support plate, whereas the slow carriage is defined by a profile, positioned longitudinally to the support plate itself, and whose ends have respective shorter profiles, in an orthogonal position, which include a pair of wheels in order to assemble same in the guide. The slow leaf is fastened to the carriage for conveying and guiding by means of some strips fastened to the profile longitudinal to the support plate, the slow leaf being with respect to the same vertical plane as the guide.
  • The longitudinal profile comprising the slow carriage has a length similar to that of the doorway and the rapid carriage moves between the end profiles positioned orthogonally thereto.
  • In this way, the slow carriage as well as the rapid carriage, having the corresponding leaf, carriage assembled in the telescopic leaves or four central leaves, move along a single guide defined in the support plate.
  • In order to complement the description that is going to be made hereinafter and for the purpose of providing a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, the present specification is accompanied by a series of drawings, in whose figures the most characteristic details of the invention are represented in an illustrative and non-restrictive manner.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • Figure 1 shows a front view of two telescopic leaves comprising an elevator door, showing how the leaves are fastened to the corresponding carriage for conveying and guiding by the guide of the support plate, the door being in its closed position.
  • Figure 2 shows a front view of the elevator door of the preceding figure in its open position, both leaves being overlapped to one side and the doorway being clear.
  • Figure 3 shows a sectioned view along line I-I of figure 2, wherein one can see the profile of the support plate that has a single guide, as well as the carriage corresponding to the slow leaf, carriage defined by a longitudinal profile to which a shorter profile is fastened by its two ends, in an orthogonal position, the leaf fastening to the longitudinal profile by means of a pair of strips.
  • Figure 4 shows a sectioned view, along line II-II of figure 2, wherein one can see the profile of the support plate that has a single guide and the carriage corresponding to the rapid leaf, carriage defined by a broken line type plate that has an intermediate inclined plane, in order to permit the overlapping of the slow leaf, the rapid carriage moving between the end profiles of the longitudinal profile that defines the slow carriage.
  • DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • In view of the commented figures and according to the numbering used, we can see how the support plate (1) of the operating mechanisms of the corresponding elevator door has a profile wherein a single guide (2) is defined, along its entire length, in such a way that by said guide (2) the rapid carriage (3) and the slow carriage (4) are conveyed and guided, carriages to which the respective leaves (5) and (6) comprising the elevator door have been fastened.
  • Although the designs presented, as a mere example, refer to an elevator door with telescopic leaves, the embodiment will be similar for elevator doors with four central leaves.
  • Hence, the support plate (1) is fastened to the structure of the elevator door itself by the core (7) by a series of screws, and in the single guide (2) that defines its profile the two carriages, the rapid one (3) and the slow one (4), respectively, are assembled by means of two pairs of wheels (8) and (9) as it is conventionally done.
  • The rapid carriage (3) is defined by a broken line type plate that has an intermediate inclined plane (10), the guide (2) of the support plate and the leaf (5) integral to the rapid carriage (3) being according to two different vertical planes, while the slow carriage (4) and the leaf (6) fastened to it are in the same vertical plane as the guide (2) of the support plate (1), permitting the overlapping of the leaves (5) and (6), leaves which comprise the door.
  • For this purpose, the slow carriage (4) is defined by a profile (11) positioned longitudinally to the support plate itself (1), which at its ends has, in an orthogonal position, respective preferably U section profiles (12), that mount the respective pairs of wheels (9) so that the slow carriage is conveyed and guided by the guide (2) of the support plate (1). The leaf (6) is fastened to the slow carriage (4) by means of a pair of strips (13) that fasten the leaf to the longitudinal profile (11).
  • The profile (11) comprising the slow carriage (4) that is longitudinal to the support plate (1) may have different sections, and it has a length similar to that of the doorway, permitting the rapid carriage (3) to move between the profiles (12) of its ends, positioned orthogonally thereto and that mount the pairs of wheels (9), whereas the leaves fastened to both carriages are overlapped and positioned according to different vertical planes.
  • In this way, a support plate (1) of mechanisms for an elevator door with telescopic leaves or with four central leaves may be manufactured with a single guide which reduces the costs of materials, the mechanization thereof and consequently the labor, which results in a reduction of the final cost.
  • Figure 4 of the drawings shows how the rapid carriage (3) has a broken line type profile making the two pairs of wheels (8) that are assembled in the single guide (2) of the support plate (1), be in a vertical plane different from the one of the leaf (5) that is fastened to the rapid carriage (3).
  • On the contrary, the leaf (6) that is fastened to the profile (11) comprising the slow carriage (4) is in respect to the same vertical plane as the two pairs of wheels (9) that are assembled in the single guide (2) of the support plate (1), permitting the movement of the carriages of the leaves fastened thereto in the opening and closing of the leaf without any problem.
  • In a variant of the embodiment of the invention, the leaf (6) of the door can be directly connected to the slow carriage (4), for which purpose the leaves have to be longer and consequently the rapid carriage (3) will be shorter.
