Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an arrangement for generating sound effects, comprising a plurality of foot-operated effect devices, the effect devices each have an input and an output and connected in series with one another are, according to the preamble of claim 1.
Foot-operated effects devices are used in particular in the music industry, the sound of an electronic musical instrument, such as a guitar or to change a bass guitar. Usually, a number of such effect devices configured to an overall arrangement according to the preferences of the respective musician, individual effects can then be selected or combined with one another are. The effect devices are connected to each other in a row, whereby only a corresponding effect is generated when the effect device is actuated and otherwise the electronic signal generated on the musical instrument without being imprinted an effect is transmitted to an amplifier or a recording device etc. In In such an arrangement, several effect devices can be offset in time or are operated simultaneously, then a corresponding mixture of the respective Effects is achieved.
Traditionally, the musician always had to have the effects devices on everyone Reconfigure the venue and according to its needs and Arrange preferences. On the one hand, this is expensive, on the other hand, the effects devices also slip slightly and change their relative position to each other, so that the musician during the game within his arrangement of effect devices must orient and is unnecessarily distracted.
The object of the present invention is that described above Develop arrangement such that the handling of the effect devices essential is facilitated.
This object is achieved with an arrangement with the features of the patent claim 1.
According to a central idea of the present invention is a common carrier plate provided, on which the effect devices can be attached via fixation means. The effect devices can be preconfigured on the carrier plate so that they are in front or no longer need to be assembled or dismantled after an event, but remain on the carrier plate in the specified configuration. Also the During the game, musicians can be sure that the one they have chosen Configuration remains in the same spatial configuration due to the fixing means, so that it is not due to an uncertain relative position of the effects units becomes insecure during the game.
In order to still give the musician the freedom, a configuration once made to change again or add effects devices, aside let or replace, the fixing means are detachable, so that they are a allow repeated attachment and detachment of the individual effects units.
In a preferred embodiment, the carrier plate further comprises a central one Power supply, especially a power supply, to the individual effects devices To supply electricity. The central power supply can be as on the carrier plate arranged distribution point, which itself is formed by an external Power supply, for example a plug-in power supply, is fed. alternative the power supply can be its own power supply, a battery or a rechargeable Include battery. Different voltages, for example 9 V and 12 V are provided.
In a further preferred embodiment, the carrier plate comprises a connection strip, about which the effects devices and preferably a guitar and / or an amplifier and possibly other components in a desired one Have the configuration connected. Via the terminal block can also other components, such as one on the carrier plate integrated tuner for tuning the musical instrument. The connection strip advantageously offers the possibility of at least one, preferably several signal loops for a number of effect devices to join.
In principle, the carrier plate can have predetermined positions, latches or the like for a plurality of effect devices. Are advantageous the fixing means, however, designed and configured such that a placement of the Effect units in every arrangement that the operator sees as ergonomic is possible, i.e. the effect devices on the carrier plate in any arrangement and alignment can be attached.
In a preferred development, the fixing means comprise first on the effect device attachable fixative and a second, essentially over the entire Fixing means extending carrier plate, such as several for fastening Velcro straps provided on the effects units and one on the carrier plate arranged Velcro surface. Alternatively, magnetic stripes could also be on the effect devices are attached and the carrier plate comprise a metal layer, so that the Effect devices can be attached via magnetic force. The Velcro strips or magnetic strips can be attached to the effect devices, for example by gluing. It is particularly advantageous here if the Velcro or magnetic tapes already have include an adhesive layer, which in the still unused state by a sealing film is covered.
In a specific, particularly preferred embodiment, the terminal block comprises at least one or more loop connectors and a guitar connector and / or an amplifier connection such that for contacting a Guitar and / or an amplifier on a loop of effects devices no change the wiring between the terminal block and the effects units or between the effects units.
The invention will also be described below in terms of further features and advantages based on the description of exemplary embodiments and with reference to FIG the accompanying drawings explained in more detail.
